Insanity: Alleged Killer Freed After Confessing to Mowing Down Teen Over ‘Political Argument’

A suspected killer in North Dakota accused of mowing down an 18-year-old over the teen’s alleged conservative views was quickly released from jail. Townhall was the first to report that 41-year-old Shannon Joseph Brandt, of Glenfield, was freed from a local detention facility just two days after he confessed to hitting Cayler Ellingson, 18, with his car in an apparent politically motivated attack that resulted in the victim’s death.

Jail inmate records show that Brandt was let out sometime on Tuesday and the Stutsman County Correctional Center administrator confirmed to Townhall that the defendant posted a $50,000 bond yesterday. Foster County Sheriff Justin Johnson also verified that Brandt is back on the streets pending his next court appearance.

Since his swift release, Brandt began scrubbing his locked-down social media activity. Then the suspect’s Facebook account was deactivated Wednesday after public comments swarmed his page.

According to the Fargo-based InForum, which broke the news of the Brandt case, the fatal hit-and-run happened early Sunday morning in the rural city of McHenry, where a community “street dance” was wrapping up. Man Who Allegedly Kidnapped 12-Year-Old and Murdered Her Mother and Brother Is an Illegal Alien and Had Been Previously Deported to Mexico

The man accused of kidnapping and torturing a 12-year-old girl after murdering her mother and brother was illegally in the U.S. and had been previously deported to Mexico in 2014.

On Monday, a motorist spotted the young girl wandering down a road in Dadeville, Alabama, and picked her up. Police said that she had been kidnapped, bound, and drugged.

She led police to the mobile home where she said she had been tied to a bed but managed to escape by chewing through her restraints.

At the home, police found two decomposing bodies they later identified as the child’s mother and her brother. The mother had been in a relationship with the suspect, who was identified as 37-year-old Jose Paulino Pascual-Reyes.

On Friday, the Department of Immigration and Customs Enforcement confirmed to the Daily Caller that Pascual-Reyes was in the country illegally at the time of the alleged crime and that he had been previously deported to Mexico in 2014.

Four Fairbanks Children Dead After Teenager Opens Fire on Siblings: Authorities

Alaska authorities are investigating the deaths of four children, one of whom is believed to have killed the others and himself, according to state troopers.

Alaska State Troopers were alerted to a report of a shooting north of Fairbanks, Alaska, at 4:17 p.m. on Tuesday, where the troopers found four children dead from apparent gunshot wounds in a building, according to troopers. The troopers believe a 15-year-old boy among the victims used a gun to shoot three of his siblings, ages 5, 8, and 17, before turning the gun on himself, according to NBC News.

The gun recovered by authorities was a “family gun but beyond that, it’s all still part of the ongoing investigation,” said Tim DeSpain, a spokesman for the Alaska State Troopers.

Teenagers Use Traffic Cone to Beat Elderly Man to Death (VIDEO)

The Philadelphia Police Department released footage Friday that showed a large group of teenagers using a traffic cone to beat a 72-year-old man to death.

James Lambert died after he was ambushed and savagely beaten with a traffic cone at about 2:38 a.m. June 24, police said.

The father of a purportedly slain 3-year-old boy went on a revenge-fueled attack on his son’s accused killer in the middle of a court hearing.

Desean Brown is accused of murdering 29-year-old Nyteisha Lattimore and her 3-year-old son Nylo. Prosecutors believe Brown stabbed Lattimore to death on Dec. 5, 2020, in an apartment in Walnut Hills, Ohio.

Lattimore was found along the banks of the Ohio River on Dec. 12, 2020. Nylo’s stroller was also found in the Ohio River, but the 3-year-old boy has yet to be found. Hamilton County Prosecutor Joseph T. Deters said Nylo’s blood was found on a Paw Patrol blanket that was recovered near his mother’s body.

WCPO-TV reported on a possible motive in the heinous crime, “Kimberly Kelley, a detective for the Cincinnati Police Department told the judge it appears Nyteisha was pregnant with Desean Brown’s child but then had a miscarriage. Kim Kardashian on Mission to Protect Woman Convicted of Brutally Beating 2-Year-Old Daughter to Death

Kim Kardashian is using her celebrity to try to get Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) to stop the execution of a mother convicted in 2007 of brutally beating her two-year-old daughter to death.

Kardashian posted on her Twitter account this week that Melissa Lucio “falsely pleaded guilty” to killing her daughter, whose death, Kardashian claims, was the result of “a tragic accident.”

Lucio is scheduled to be executed on April 27.

“I recently just read about the case of Melissa Lucio and wanted to share her story with you. She has been on death row for over 14 years for her daughter’s death that was a tragic accident,” the 41-year-old tweeted. “Her 2-year old daughter Mariah fell down a flight of stairs and two days later passed away while taking a nap. After she called for help, she was taken into custody by the police.”

“Melissa is a survivor of abuse and domestic violence herself and after being interrogated for hours and falsely pleaded guilty,” Kardashian wrote. “She wanted the interrogation to end, but police made her words out to be a confession.”

Man Receives Life Sentence After Killing Friend Over Mayonnaise

An Iowa man received a life sentence Monday after he ran over and killed his friend with his truck following a bar fight that started when he put mayonnaise on his friend’s food.

Kristofer Erlbacher received the life sentence for a deadly incident that started Dec. 17, 2020, while he and the victim, Caleb Solberg, were at a bar with a third person. Erlbacher spread mayonnaise on Solberg’s food, prompting Solberg to punch him and the violence to escalate from there, according to the Des Moines Register. . .

After that fight stopped, Erlbacher left the café, got into his 2001 Chevrolet pickup truck and used it to crash into Pryor’s vehicle while Pryor occupied it, the Des Moines Register reported. He then slammed his truck again into the vehicle when Pryor left the vehicle to survey the damage, according to a criminal complaint.

Erlbacher later crashed his vehicle into Solberg, who did not die in the first collision, according to the Des Moines Register. Police Searching for N95 Mask-Wearing Man for Alleged Stabbing

A 24-year-old woman was killed in the 300 block of North La Brea Avenue in Hancock Park Thursday afternoon, police said.

The woman, identified by the Los Angeles Police Department at the scene as Brianna Kupfer, died at the scene of the fatal assault.

A LinkedIn profile for Kupfer identifies her as a design consultant for Croft House, a furniture business located on that block.

Lopez did not provide any suspect information, but surveillance video shows what appears to be a tall, slender man wearing black clothes and a white N95 mask walking away from the scene.

Convicted Child Killer Charged With First-degree Murder After Being Released From Prison

A convicted child murderer who was released from jail in 2020 was charged Saturday with first-degree murder for the brutal killing of a woman found dead in a South Florida canal.

Eric Pierson, 54, allegedly killed 33-year-old Erika Verdecia, whose body was found stabbed four times with a screwdriver on Sept. 25, Sunrise police said. . .

In September 2020, Pierson was released from prison after carrying out 27 years of a 40-year sentence for the 1993 murder of Kristina Whitaker, 17.

Before that, in 1985, he was condemned to an 18-year sentence for attempted murder after breaking into a woman’s home and slitting her throat, but authorities said he was paroled.

Neighbors Say Brian Laundrie, Parents Went on a Trip in New Camper After Gabby Petito Disappeared

Brian Laundrie and his parents reportedly took a weekend camping trip on the same day Gabby Petito was reported missing.

Charlene and William Guthrie live directly across the street from the home of the Laundries in North Port, Florida. The couple claim they saw the family take a camping trip in a new “attached camper.” The Daily Mail reported the family took the trip on Saturday, Sept. 11 — the same day the now-deceased Gabby Petito was reported missing,

“I was doing some work in the front yard and I noticed they got a new camper for the back of the pickup,” William Guthrie said during an appearance on Fox News’ “The Story.” “I didn’t think anything unusual.”

“Then when they prepared for their trip, I saw them load the camper,” he told Martha MacCallum.
