Conservative Journalist Reveals Attack in Portland: ‘Antifa Tried To Kill Me’ (VIDEO)

Journalist Andy Ngo said he was recently chased and beaten in the streets of Portland while he was covering protests in Portland, Oregon.

“No journalist in America should ever face violence for doing his or her job,” Ngo said in a statement released on Wednesday night. “Yet on Friday, May 28, Antifa tried to kill me again while I was reporting on the ongoing protests and riots in Portland, Ore. for a new chapter of my book, ‘Unmasked: Inside Antifa’s Radical Plan to Destroy Democracy.'”

“I was chased, attacked and beaten by a masked mob, baying for my blood,” Ngo wrote on Twitter. “Had I not been able to shelter wounded and bleeding inside a hotel while they beat the doors and windows like animals, there is no doubt in my mind I would not be here today. Their words, like their actions, speak for themselves.” . . .

According to Ngo, an Antifa member became suspicious of him because he wasn’t engaging in criminal acts and throwing objects at police like the other members were. He began asking Ngo questions, but Andy did not respond. Ngo then walked away, but “a group of masked people in black followed and surrounded me.”

“As they interrogated me, one managed to pull off my mask and immediately yelled, ‘That’s Andy. Get him! Get him!’ As I sprinted through downtown Portland trying to flag down help, there was no visible police presence,” Ngo claimed. “One of the black-clad Antifa members tackled me to the ground in front of Pioneer Place Mall, punching my head and face repeatedly, while I pleaded for them not to kill me. All the time I could hear the angry cries and footsteps of the mob approaching.”

Blacks In Portland Demand End To Antifa Violence

Leaders of the black community in Portland, Oregon, have written a letter to Antifa and other radical leftists telling them to stop causing trouble – in the name of helping blacks.

“Over the last year we have watched as people have profited from and damaged our movement without our consent or approval,” the letter, posted on the Weouthere website, said.

The site explained the letter was in response “to ongoing behavior seen as detrimental to Black Liberation.”

The letter, signed by dozens of writers, speakers, artists, teachers, parents and professionals, said, “As Black Oregonians concerned with the ongoing lack of accountability for the police violence that continues to disproportionately impact Black communities, the disabled, those with mental illness, the unhoused, and other marginalized people, it is important for us to stand in solidarity and state our shared values.” . . .

So, they explained, “We need our allies in this fight to understand and honor this fact. Understand that doing damage to us, our communities, and our resources undoes the work we do. Black people are not a monolith, and having a complicit Black person in your planning space does not indicate support from the Black community. Note Woke Enough: Antifa Rioters Attack Pro-Gay Church

Antifa rioters in Portland, Oregon, attacked a local church and a historical museum Friday night. The attack marks the second time each has been vandalized during the past twelve months.

Portland Police Bureau officials declared a riot on Friday night after Antifa attacked the First Christian Church and the Oregon Historical Society. Representatives of the organizations said this is the second time each has been vandalized in the past year.

Police officials, who had advance warning of the Antifa “Direct Action,” said the rioters broke windows at the church and the museum.

‘Come Outside You Don’t Scare Me, B-tch’: Watch Antifa Menace Portland Courthouse in Another Fiery Night

A group of more than 50 rioters dressed in black attacked the Mark Hatfield Federal Courthouse in Portland on Thursday, vandalizing the building, smashing windows, and lighting parts of it on fire while people were still inside.

. . .Antifa previously attempted to menace people inside the federal courthouse on Thursday afternoon, yelling “come outside,” “you don’t scare me b-tch,” “death to America,” and “f-ck the United States” while throwing water and other liquids inside the glass doors, repeatedly banging on them, and trying to enter. The attack reportedly prompted federal officials to reinstate some of the recently-removed barriers in front of the federal building including boards on the windows.

Surprise, Surprise: Portland’s Defund the Police Failure Results in Soaring Crime

Facing a continued scourge of violence since cutting its police budget by $15 million last summer, Portland, Oregon, has decided to reintroduce a gun violence task force within the city’s police department.

The new team, called the Enhanced Community Safety Team, was introduced last month in response to skyrocketing violence in the city, KATU-TV reported, and comes only months since the city disbanded the Gun Violence Reduction Team as a part of police budget cuts.

Following the dissolution of the previous gun violence team, shootings in the city skyrocketed.

According to the Associated Press, “More people died of gunfire last year in Portland — 40 — than the entire tally of homicides the previous year. The number of shootings — 900 — was nearly 2 1/2 times higher than the year before.” . . .

Amazingly, the new unit was requested by Democratic Mayor Ted Wheeler, who also serves as the city’s police commissioner. Wheeler had been outspoken in support of defunding the police as Black Lives Matter protests rocked the city for much of the last year. Radical Leftists Build Warzone-Style Barriers to Keep Cops Out (VIDEO)

Radical leftists erected warzone-syle barricades to block Portland, Oregon, police from enforcing an eviction order on the occupants of what is known as “the Red House on Mississippi.” The barricade is at least three blocks wide and in some places consists of a six-layer fence and barricade.

Earlier this week, protesters repelled Portland police officers to came out to assist the local sheriff’s office in serving a legal eviction order on a foreclosed house. As officers arrived, protesters fought back violently and repelled the officers, Breitbart News reported.

Portland’s Democrat Mayor Ted Wheeler, recently re-elected in a runoff election, promised to restore order and pledged, “There will be no autonomous zone in Portland.”

Two days later the leftists continued to illegally occupy the newly established autonomous zone and expanded it to its now three-block diameter. Portland Police Bureau Chief Chuck Lovell said his department was aware of a “stockpile of weapons” and the “presence of firearms.” . . .

Despite the threats from the mayor and police chief, leftists continued reinforcing the autonomous zone and erected multi-layer border walls to slow down any police action.

BLM Activists Want to Separate From ‘White’ Antifa

Oregon Public Broadcasting reports Wednesday that black members of Portland’s Black Lives Matter movement are tired of their anti-racism demonstrations being hijacked by the mostly white “Antifa” anarchists and are working to separate the two movements as protests continue.

“Tensions between Black activists fighting for racial justice and anti-establishment protesters have bubbled beneath the surface for months,” the outlet says, noting that many of the anti-racism protests, now in their sixth month, began as peaceful demonstrations but became violent after nightfall, when anarchist groups, who organized on social media, appeared.

The riots, which made national headlines, tainted the Black Lives Matter protests, activists say, and confused commentators who often assumed the violence developed from the demonstrations. Instead, they say, the unrest was wholly separate — and now they want the groups to disentangle.

“This week marks six months since Floyd’s death, and protests continue in Portland,” OPB reports. “But now, activists in the city are divided as to whether they are still fighting in a racial justice movement centered on Black lives, or if an unfocused, anti-establishment fight against capitalism and state power has usurped the initial cause that brought thousands of Portlanders into the streets.”

BLM activists also contend that the largely white “Antifa” group is “privileged,” noting that many of those arrested during the protests are middle- or upper-class, are quickly free on bail, and often escape prosecution — luxuries not often afforded to people of color who tangle with the same justice system. Sex Offender Caught Allegedly Taking Photo of Woman in Bathroom Stall

A serial sex offender was arrested Saturday after he allegedly took a picture of a woman in a restroom stall at the Lloyd Center mall in Portland, Oregon.

“Portland police received a report at 12:20 p.m. of a sex offense at the mall,” KGW 8 reported. . .

“Officers learned a woman was using the bathroom when a man attempted to take a photograph. The woman confronted the man and notified security, who detained Walter,” the article read. . .

The suspect, whom the media dubbed the “TriMet Barber,” has a history of cutting, gluing, or masturbating into women’s hair while riding TriMet buses and trains.

“Walter was sentenced to one year in jail in 2019 for inappropriately touching multiple women. He pleaded guilty to sexual harassment, sex abuse and interfering with public transportation. Portland Riots: Commissioner’s House Vandalized After He Voted Against Defunding Police; City Hall Hit With Arson Attack

Dozens of left-wing protesters vandalized a Portland commissioner’s home after he voted against a measure that would defund part of the Portland Police Bureau’s budget. . .

Portland City Commissioner Dan Ryan had voted against a measure earlier that day that would have redirected $18 million from the police budget to other programs supporting social causes.

Portland Unified Command said that the group marched to Ryan’s home, broke a window and tossed “burning flares and paint filled balloons” at the house. Video on social media captured the protesters chanting “Black Lives Matter!” and “F**k you Dan Ryan!!” during the protest. . .

Portland Law Enforcement Prepare for Violence on Election Day

The Portland Police Bureau and the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office announced on Friday they are preparing for potential unrest on and after Election Day. The announcement comes after the city has been plagued with riots on a near-daily basis since late May after the death of George Floyd.

“In the past, some individuals and groups have gathered and marched following the election results, both in celebration and sometimes because they are angered or upset. In some instances, significant damage was done to local businesses, which did not change the election outcome, but hurt our community members,” their press release stated.

“PPB and MCSO will be increasing staffing on Election Day and the days following as a precaution.
