WATCH: ‘Handmaid’s Tale’ Protesters Outside Supreme Court Justice’s House

Pro-abortion activists are protesting outside the home of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh in Chevy Chase, Maryland.

The activists are also planning on protesting at Chief Justice John Roberts’s home in Maryland. Protesters were reportedly seen wearing outfits from the TV series The Handmaid’s Tale in preparation for the protest.

This protest is part of a wave of pro-abortion demonstrations across the country following the leak of a Supreme Court draft opinion, authored by Justice Samuel Alito, that would overturn Roe v. Wade.

Furthermore, leftist activists have specifically targeted the homes of the six Supreme Court Justices, who are on the conservative wing of the bench, outside of Washington DC in Northern Virginia and Maryland.

Despite the tactics to intimidate the justices, Thomas told attendees at a judicial conference last week that “We can’t be an institution that can be bullied into giving you the outcomes you want.” (Read more from “WATCH: ‘Handmaid’s Tale’ Protesters Outside Supreme Court Justice’s House” HERE)

Is This the Supreme Court Leaker?

. . .Will Chamberlain of the Internet Accountability Project and Human Events had a lengthy Twitter thread about who this leaker could be and zeroed in on Elizabeth Deutsch. It’s pure speculation based on information from the public domain, but after he makes his case—it sort of sounds like she could fit the bill. She’s a current law clerk for Justice Breyer. Chamberlain leaves it open that he could be wrong about her, but let’s go through what he found:

Here’s where things start to get interesting. Every law student has to write a note – a long legal research paper, usually making a novel argument about the law.

Elizabeth Deutsch wrote hers about reproductive rights and abortion.

Specifically, she argued that Obamacare’s non-discrimination provision should be interpreted to force Catholic hospitals to perform “emergency abortions.”

Aggressive argument – and hey, law students make aggressive arguments.

Report: Supreme Court Majority Still Supports Overturning Roe v. Wade; Democrats Push Radical Abortion Bill Far More Expansive Than Roe

By Daily Wire. A Supreme Court majority in favor of overturning Roe v. Wade was reportedly still in agreement long after a draft of the majority opinion was written in February.

The draft, which was leaked to the public last week, does not represent the final decision of the Supreme Court in the case of Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health. Justices are still able to suggest changes to the majority opinion or switch their votes altogether until the court publishes its decision in the case.

As recently as two weeks ago, however, the reported majority in favor of striking down Roe was still together, sources told The Washington Post. “[T]hree conservatives close to the court” told WaPo that “the majority of five justices to strike Roe remains intact,” a question that has stirred those on both sides of the debate that has erupted around the future of abortion law in the U.S. in the wake of the leaked draft.

Chief Justice John Roberts is not siding with the majority, telling his colleagues in December that he planned to write an opinion upholding both Mississippi’s restrictions on abortion, in question in Dobbs, as well as Roe to the extent possible. The majority of the court disagreed with the chief justice and were “more interested in an opinion that overturned the precedents,” WaPo reported, citing a source “close to the most conservative members of the court.”

The leak of the draft decision on May 2 sparked outcry across the political spectrum. Conservatives generally decried the leak of the document, unprecedented in recent history and a significant breach of trust among the nine justices of the high court. Leftists rallied to protest the contents of the draft and claimed that the end of Roe could spell the end of abortion access in the U.S. Notably, ending Roe would revert the question of legal access to abortion back to the states, where laws would vary widely. Democrats Push Radical Abortion Bill Far More Expansive Than Roe

By Daily Signal. The Senate on Wednesday is expected to vote on whether to end debate on S 4132, the Women’s Health Protection Act of 2022.

Even though a similar vote on the virtually identical HR 3755 failed on Feb. 28, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., quickly set up this repeat in the wake of the leaked first draft of the Supreme Court’s opinion in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization.

If the position in that draft holds, the court will overturn its decisions in Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey, which created and continued the right to abortion.

The Women’s Health Protection Act would prohibit any government anywhere from doing anything that could, even potentially, reduce the number of abortions from actually taking place. Not only that, it would require every government everywhere to repeal any statutes, regulations, or anything else that may already be on the books that could potentially have that effect.

Abortion advocates claim the Women’s Health Protection Act would merely “codify” those Supreme Court decisions, protecting the right to abortion by legislation should its constitutional protection vanish. (Read more from “Democrats Push Radical Abortion Bill Far More Expansive Than Roe” HERE)

Poll Finds Overturning Roe Won’t Have Big Impact on Midterms

A new poll has found that if the Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade, it “will likely have only a modest impact, if any” on the midterm elections, even though the leak of Justice Samuel Alito’s abortion opinion sent shock waves through Washington.

While Democratic strategists have argued that abortion policy will play a central role in the election and top lawmakers in the party have been vocal in their calls for voters to rally against Republicans in November over the issue, the survey, prepared for the America First Policy Institute by RMG Research Group and obtained by the Washington Examiner on Monday, discovered that “issues such as inflation, immigration, crime, the war in Ukraine” are expected to have more of an impact in driving people to the ballot box.

The survey found that there is some uncertainty with voters over what overturning Roe would do, with 41% stating they thought it would completely outlaw abortion, 36% saying they weren’t sure what it would mean, and 22% having “some understanding” of what overturning the decision would mean.

“If the Supreme Court overturns Roe, the conventional wisdom assumes that the issue will help Democrats in the midterms; the only question is by how much. A deeper look at the data, however, suggests the conventional wisdom is wrong,” the polling memo states.

“The conventional wisdom is based on years of polling, showing that a solid majority of voters oppose overturning that 1973 ruling. My own polling shows the same results. However, any poll asking whether voters want to overturn Roe is meaningless. Seventy-seven percent of voters don’t know what overturning that decision would mean. If people don’t understand what overturning Roe would mean, how can you possibly interpret polling data showing that people don’t want it overturned?” it continues. Corporations Stay Quiet on Abortion After Disney’s Disastrous Tangle With DeSantis

Corporations previously outspoken about hot-button social issues have stayed quiet on the likely overturning of Roe v. Wade after a dramatic fight between Disney and Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis over the company’s political activism.

Following the leak of a draft opinion indicating the Supreme Court is likely to overturn Roe v. Wade, Democrats are trying to ram through a bill legalizing third trimester abortions; however, corporations are largely staying out of the fray, following Disney’s disastrous battle with Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis that ended with the company losing its special tax privileges.

CNBC and Fortune contacted dozens of the largest corporations in the U.S., but few of them gave any comments about the landmark case.

Disney has not commented on the draft opinion, nor have American Airlines, Walmart, Facebook, Microsoft or Comcast, according to CNBC, though all of the companies have been outspoken on politics and social issues in the past.

Zeno, a massive public relations firm that advises Coca-Cola, Hershey’s, Salesforce, Netflix and Starbucks, advised its clients not to comment on the overturning of Roe, according to Popular Information, citing a client memo. Biden Makes the Case…Against Abortion (VIDEO)

After giving remarks about the economy and deficit spending at the White House Wednesday morning, President Joe Biden was asked about his plans to protect abortion if the Supreme Court strikes down Roe v. Wade.

During his response, Biden argued rights don’t come from the government, but instead from God. He also made the case that he is a child of God (like every human being), inadvertently making a pro-life argument at odds with the Democratic Party.

As Spencer writes, Biden voted with Republicans in 1983 to return the issue of abortion to the states. (Read more from “Biden Makes the Case…Against Abortion” HERE)

What Is a Woman? Pro-Abortion Protesters Can’t Say (VIDEO)

Pro-abortion protesters descended on the Supreme Court in the wake of a draft opinion leak suggesting that the court will overturn Roe v. Wade.

Constant chants demanding that men stay out of the abortion debate and that a woman’s right to choose is hers alone raise the simple question: “What is a woman?”

The Washington Examiner sent reporters to ask pro-abortion protesters outside the Supreme Court to define “woman,” and most had a difficult time.

“Literally none,” one protester said vehemently. “They don’t get to decide what women and people with uteruses do with their body.”

Seconds after claiming men have no part to play in the debate, the protester went silent when asked to define a woman. (Read more from “What Is a Woman? Pro-Abortion Protesters Can’t Say (VIDEO)” HERE)

The Constitutional Crisis That Roe v. Wade Set in Motion Is Now Upon Us

The leak of a draft majority opinion of the U.S. Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade and Casey v. Planned Parenthood — and with it our 50-year regime of legalized murder of the unborn — has rightly captured the nation’s attention. It is without question the most important news story in the country, and, if the draft decision stands, the most important political development in a generation.

But it is also more than these things. Whether the draft opinion stands or falls, this is a great moment of moral clarity for the nation — and a time of great peril. Now we see, as we rarely have over the past five decades, the severity of what Roe inaugurated in 1973 and Casey sustained in 1992. . .

What’s clear already is that the left is willing to destroy every institution of American civic life to preserve their abortion regime. The day after the leak, the president of the United States, a man who once pushed for a constitutional amendment to overturn Roe but has since surrendered to the demands of his party’s ascendent left wing, took the extraordinary step of weighing in on an undecided Supreme Court case. (While he was at it, he spouted exactly the kind of nonsense we have come to expect from him.) . . .

The upshot is that it seems Democrats, no less than their courtesans in the media, are prepared to use every available tool at their disposal to intimidate the Supreme Court and bend it to their will. It is not too much to say, as my colleague Mollie Hemingway did yesterday, that both the leak of the opinion and the ensuing reaction on the left amount to yet another insurrection attempt. This time the target is not the Trump White House but the Supreme Court. . .

In addition to the Democrats’ political warfare, we’re seeing another powerful and familiar tool of the left emerge: the violent mob. As if on cue, a chorus arose Monday night and Tuesday morning among pro-abortion activists on Twitter that if Roe is overturned, they would “burn it all down.” (Read more from “The Constitutional Crisis That Roe v. Wade Set in Motion Is Now Upon Us” HERE)

WATCH: White House Won’t Say Whether Biden Would Accept Roe Decision as ‘Legitimate’

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki avoided answering a direct question about the leaked early opinion draft that indicated the Supreme Court might be poised to overturn the landmark abortion case Roe v. Wade.

Even when asked specifically — twice — whether President Joe Biden would accept a decision overturning Roe as “legitimate,” Psaki redirected the conversation and did not provide an answer.

“If the Supreme Court does move to strike down Roe, should Americans be prepared to just accept that decision as legitimate and would President Biden accept that decision as legitimate?” one reporter asked.

“Well, I can’t speak for what actions could be possible on the legal front, I would point you to the Department of Justice on that,” Psaki began. “What I can tell you will happen is — and this is what we are preparing for the possibility of — that if Roe were to fall, abortion would probably be illegal in about half the states in the country, up to 26 states.” (Read more from “Jen Psaki Won’t Say Whether Biden Would Accept Roe Decision as ‘Legitimate’” HERE)

‘Catholic’ Biden: Constitution Gives Right to ‘Abort a Child’ — ‘Mainstream’ Religions Agree With Roe v. Wade

By Breitbart. President Joe Biden further reacted to a leaked draft opinion from the Supreme Court on Tuesday, criticizing the “radical” argument against a constitutional right to abortion.

“The idea that we’re gonna make a judgment that is going to say that no one can make the judgment to choose to abort a child based on a decision by the Supreme Court I think goes way overboard,” Biden said. . .

During his remarks, Biden falsely claimed that all mainstream religions believe the beginning of human life is open to interpretation.

“Look, think what Roe says. Roe says what all basic mainstream religions have historically concluded — that the right — that the existence of a human life and being is a question. Is it at the moment of conception? Is it six months? Is it six weeks?”

The president failed to mention that the Catholic Church, of which he claims to be a member, teaches that life begins at the moment of conception. (Read more from “Biden: Constitution Gives Right to ‘Abort a Child’ — ‘Mainstream’ Religions Agree With Roe v. Wade” HERE)

FYI: Overturning Roe v. Wade Does *Not* Outlaw Abortion

By Breitbart. If the Supreme Court does end up overturning Roe v. Wade (which it should), this does not mean abortion will be outlawed.

The corporate media, Hollywood, and Democrats will work overtime to convince you of this, but like everything else that comes from the media, Hollywood, and Democrats, it will be a total lie.

Overturning Roe v. Wade merely does the right thing in putting an end to the insane idea that a woman has a constitutional right to slaughter her unborn child. . .

That’s all overturning Roe v. Wade does.

Unlike the clearly stated Constitutional right to own a firearm, nowhere in the Constitution does the right to abortion exist. It is a fabricated right invented more than 50 years by a left-leaning Court. (Read more from “FYI: Overturning Roe v. Wade Does *Not* Outlaw Abortion” HERE)
