By Conservative Review. A federal judge dismissed a lawsuit against Oregon schools’ policy that allows boys in girls’ restrooms and locker rooms and vice versa, LifeSiteNews reported Tuesday.

U.S. District Judge Marco Hernandez dismissed the case against the policy, saying it was not a violation of privacy rights for males to be allowed in female restrooms.

“High school students do not have a fundamental privacy right to not share school restrooms, lockers, and showers with transgender students whose biological sex is different than theirs,” Hernandez wrote.

So, teenage girls in high school have a fundamental privacy right to kill their unborn children, but not to their own bathrooms? This is progressivism. Judge Upholds Transgender Bathrooms

Boys will continue to be allowed in girls’ restrooms and locker rooms in Oregon after a judge dismissed a lawsuit against that policy, saying, “high school students do not have a fundamental privacy right to not share school restrooms, lockers, and showers with transgender students whose biological sex is different than theirs.”

Students who are unwillingly subjected to seeing students of the opposite sex are not having their rights violated, U.S. District Judge Marco Hernandez wrote.

This ruling “reveals everything people need to know to understand the utter corruption of our court system,” Julie Quist, Board Chair of the Child Protection League (CPL), told LifeSiteNews. “Decency and respect for our children…are being cast aside for the political advantage of a militant political force that is systematically violating the innocence, dignity and freedom of our children and all of us.”

The lawsuit against Oregon schools allowing boys in girls’ restrooms and vice versa was filed by parents and students in Dallas, Oregon. This gender-free policy caused “embarrassment, humiliation, anxiety, intimidation, fear, apprehension, and stress produced by using the restroom with students of the opposite sex,” they said in the lawsuit.

The problems began when the Dallas School District allowed a girl to change in the boys’ locker rooms. She didn’t like changing in the gender-neutral bathroom because it was too far away and other students noticed, according to the Washington Post. Heartless Liberal Critics Mock Terminally Ill Texas Teen for His Make-A-Wish Request

In March, 16-year-old Jeremiah Thomas was diagnosed with an extremely aggressive bone cancer. Since then, he has battled chemotherapy, radiation, a collapsed lung, paralysis, and, unfortunately, many social media trolls.

But Jeremiah also has forged an unlikely partnership with Texas Gov. Greg Abbott and forgiven those who taunt him.

With perhaps only weeks left to live, Jeremiah—a former all-star, state champion football player from Waco, Texas—has been told numerous times on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook that he is not dying soon enough … because he took a stand for life.

“Cancer is giving your mom a late term abortion. Lmao [laughing my a– off],” one message said.

“Jeremiah … You aren’t dead yet? God do your job!” taunted another.

“Good Riddance,” another posted to Jeremiah’s prayer group page on Facebook, following with a one-star review.

Jeremiah’s mother, Kendra Thomas, quoted one person as saying Jeremiah has “a racist, homophobic, misogynistic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic [sic], hateful” agenda, and another as saying “He’s garbage and is suffering as he deserves.”

All of this because Jeremiah made a “legacy wish” through the 38-year-old Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Jeremiah’s wish was to abolish abortion, and to do so he ended up asking for a meeting with Abbott, a pro-life Republican.

Jeremiah’s father is the Rev. Rusty Thomas, director of the pro-life activist group Operation Save America, based in Dallas and formerly called Operation Rescue. The teen made his reasoning public June 24 by posting “A Letter to My Generation,” describing his Christian faith and writing in part:

We have grown up in a culture of death, sexual confusion, immorality and fatherlessness. This culture of death I speak of consists of abortion, homosexuality and suicide.

One third of our generation has been wiped out due to abortion. Over 25 million people have died as a result of AIDS. Even without AIDS, the life expectancy of a homosexual man or woman is about 33 years shorter than that of a heterosexual.

More young people die from suicide than from cancer, heart disease, AIDS, birth defects, stroke, pneumonia, influenza, and chronic lung disease combined.

We have been handed a bill of goods that has completely destroyed us. In our nation, we have chosen death and received the curse.

Jeremiah’s mother posted his story and a section of “A Letter to My Generation” to her Facebook page July 19. As of this week, it had been shared about 1,200 times and garnered 1,700 Facebook reactions.

In her post, Thomas shared Jeremiah’s struggle with his terminal illness, known as osteoblastic osteosarcoma, and the backlash he received from the left for his comments on the “culture of death.” She appealed to her audience to keep her son in prayer.

In a Facebook message Friday, Kendra Thomas told The Daily Signal:

When Jeremiah learned Make-a-Wish granted legacy wishes, he knew he wanted to use his wish to protect life. Jeremiah met with Make-a-Wish representatives and requested a sit-down meeting with Gov. Abbott. His wish was shared on Facebook. A number of people worked behind the scenes to make the governor aware of Jeremiah’s dying wish.

Gov. Abbott called Jeremiah in the hospital [June 17]. Jeremiah was able to speak to him about abolishing abortion.

Jeremiah’s family had set up a GoFundMe page three months ago to help raise money for surgery. It had reached $115,000 as of Aug. 1.

As a result of his bone cancer, Jeremiah became paralyzed from the waist down. Abbott has been paralyzed below the waist since a tree fell on him 34 years ago, when the future governor was 26.

“How would you feel if an army of abortion supporters, homosexuals, and social justice warriors flooded your child’s social media account to cyberbully him AS HE DIED?” Thomas asked in her public message July 19 on Facebook.

But while Jeremiah’s attackers were asking who is “the disgusting kid” who “could have gone to Disneyland for free,” his mother said, “Jeremiah was busy serving God.”

He spoke with the governor by phone from his hospital bed in June about passing a bill to abolish abortion in the state and make his “legacy wish” a reality.

“Your wish is on the Republican Party platform position and it’s what we’re going to be pursuing this next legislative session—that’s to outlaw abortion altogether in the state of Texas,” Abbott tells Jeremiah in a now viral video of their June 17 phone conversation, referring to proposed legislation.

“And so, your wish has [been] granted,” the governor said.

A spokeswoman for the Make-A-Wish Foundation for the Central and South Texas region told The Daily Signal in a phone interview that the organization is “not politically affiliated.”

Robbie Aaron, marketing and communications manager at the foundation’s North Texas chapter, said Wednesday that the chapter set up a shopping spree for Jeremiah a couple of weeks ago.

“We don’t discriminate in wishes. It’s not our place to judge what someone wants,” Aaron said.

As Kendra Thomas wrote Friday to The Daily Signal:

Make-a-Wish told us later that they were unable to fulfill the wish because it was political. They suggested a shopping spree, which Jeremiah accepted since the governor had already called. God worked it out.

Instead of letting the hate get to him, his mother said earlier, Jeremiah shut it out, even after he recently returned home for what could be the last time.

To the surprise of some, perhaps, Jeremiah had posted a photo of himself on Instagram that showed him praying, with the caption “Anyone need prayer?”

“He opened up his Instagram for prayer requests,” his mother wrote July 19 on Facebook, adding:

Jeremiah’s response to those who hate him is to bless them. To pray for them.

This is what he told me[:] ‘I pity them. To have that much darkness in your heart that you’d want a kid with cancer to die. Makes me wonder what happened to them in their life.

‘It’s a scary place to be—mentally and spiritually. I pray God would have mercy on them.’

… How can a 16-year-old terminal cancer patient forgive those who wish him dead?

Jesus. Jeremiah can forgive others because he’s been forgiven.

Boy in Wheelchair Hears National Anthem, Pulls Himself to His Feet for America

At a Tennessee fair on Saturday night, a 10-year-old boy in a wheelchair stood for the national anthem, Fox News reported Tuesday.

Avery Price, who has hereditary spastic paraplegia syndrome (HSP) and requires braces on both legs, stood to show respect for his country during the national anthem at the Putnam County Fair in Cookeville, Tennessee.

“I usually sit and put my hand on my heart, but last night I decided to stand … because I like to stand for my country,” Price told Fox 17.

Leah Norris, a woman sitting nearby, filmed the moment and shared it on Facebook, calling it “[o]ne of the most touching things I’ve ever seen.”

“You may or may not agree and that’s your choice. But this goes to show that [i]f he can stand for his country, so can you. I’m not sure who this boy or his family is, or if it’ll ever reach them again. But his parents are raising a fine young man,” she wrote. Legal Immigrant Running for House Crushes Every Single Objection to Trump’s Wall

. . .Anybody taking the time to speak with and listen to Trump’s legion of supporters also soon will realize that he has quite a few legal immigrants who fully support him, particularly when it comes to his firm stance on border security and illegal immigration.

One of those is conservative Hollywood actor and California congressional candidate Antonio Sabato Jr., who legally immigrated to America from Italy with his family in 1985 and who now is calling for tough border security measures that includes a border wall, according to The Daily Caller.

The outspoken conservative decried the fact that our nation has essentially had “open borders” for quite some time and lamented how American citizens have paid the costs for that not only with taxpayer money, but also with lives lost to criminal illegal aliens. That problem can be solved simply with a border wall.

As for how the wall could be paid for, Sabato reiterated that America already spends plenty of money on immigration-related expenses and the savings to California alone in one year would be more than enough to fund a wall.

Unfortunately, there are bureaucrats, elected establishment officials and special interest groups who favor “open borders” and staunchly obstruct any such efforts to secure funding, hence the need for more Trump supporters like him who favor a border wall being elected to Congress. Black Leadership Group Defies Liberals, Scorches NYT Over Anti-White Editor

In what can only be described as a clear display of the hypocritical double standards that most progressive liberals enjoy, The New York Times recently hired to its editorial board a woman with a lengthy history of making blatantly racist anti-white statements on social media and elsewhere. . .

In an official release from Project 21, an organization for black conservatives, several members informed The Times of just how “racist” and “vulgar” they found Jeong’s anti-white tweets — of which there are literally hundreds over the span of several years — and called out the supposed “paper of record” for its readily apparent political bias.

“Ms. Jeong is the recipient of leftist privilege, which means that whatever she says can and will be forgiven no matter how vile or racist her actions may have been,” stated Stacy Washington, nationally syndicated radio host and co-chairwoman of Project 21.

“In response to the backlash over her addition to the New York Times editorial staff, the paper shared that they had discussions with her about the appropriateness of her tweets. This is within their purview, but the double-standard is glaring,” she continued.

“Roseanne Barr was blacklisted for one tweet. Even after she showed remorse and apologized profusely, there is no path of redemption for her. In the freest nation on the planet, we are witnessing jackbooted political thuggery,” Washington added. Watch: The Jack in the Box Ad That Upset #Metoo Champions

Jack in the Box created a new ad, titled “Jack’s Bowls,” that has elicited criticism from those who say it champions sexual innuendo in the workplace. In a piece in Adweek titled, “Jack in the Box Just Launched One of the Most Tone-Deaf Ads of the #MeToo Era,” writer David Griner wrote that the ad “celebrates sexual innuendo in the workplace,” asserting that the ad is “basically a minute of incessant genital jokes.”

Griner notes that Jack in the Box and the ad agency David&Goliath “defended the spot, telling Adweek that the ad is not referencing the high-profile #MeToo movement …” Jack in the Box and David&Goliath released a statement to Adweek, saying:

This ad is a creative and humorous expression around the teriyaki bowl, highlighting how a burger brand such as Jack in the Box has the guts—or ‘bowls’—to go beyond the usual and serve something other than burgers. This ad is not diminishing any movement, and we stand firmly against any form of harassment and value those who have the guts to combat it.

Adweek points out that as part of the campaign, trucks adorned with a “Only Jack Has the Bowls” message will park near McDonald’s, Burger King and Carl’s Jr.

In the ad, some phrases that are used include: “you’ve got some pretty nice bowls there”; a woman saying to a male coworker, “those are some nice bowls”; and others including “everybody’s gonna want to get their hands on Jack’s bowls,” “come try my bowls,” and “check out my bowls.”

Complex Fire Now the Size of LA, Largest Fire in California History

As of midday on Tuesday, the Mendocino Complex Fire, the largest in California’s history, had ravaged over 290,000 acres, or 453 square miles, making it roughly as big as the city of Los Angeles, which encompasses 469 square miles. The fire is 34% contained.

The Mendocino Complex fire is comprised of two fires; the River Fire and the Ranch Fire. The River Fire is located northeast of Hopland, and the Ranch Fire is located northeast of Ukiah. 75 residences and 68 other structures have been destroyed.

At noon on Tuesday, mandatory evacuation orders were issued for residents southeast of Potter Valley. Roughly 4,000 firefighters have been working for 11 days to combat the fire. . .

Other fires are plaguing the state; the Carr fire, which began July 23 north of the Mendocino fire, has burned 167,113 acres and is 47% contained; two firefighters have died fighting the blaze. Woman Repeatedly Sells Young Son to Pedophiles

A German woman committed one of the worst acts perpetrated on an innocent child in recent memory, selling her eight-year-old son on the darknet to pedophiles, who raped him repeatedly.

The 48-year-old woman, who has been sentenced to over 12 years in prison for selling her young son on the darknet to abusers, has a 39-year-old partner who is a convicted pedophile, according to The Guardian. He was also found guilty of sexually assaulting a 3-year-old girl, The New York Times reported. The Times added:

The court found that the man had assaulted the 3-year-old daughter of acquaintances who had visited the family for play dates. When the families’ relationship soured and the girl no longer visited, the man started his repeated assault of the woman’s son, the court said, with the woman’s full knowledge and participation. … The mother always stayed close by during the assaults, to act as a calming influence, according to testimony heard in court.

Almost 60 separate identified acts starting in 2015 targeting the son were listed; the partner received a 12-year prison sentence plus a preventative detention order, which will effectively function as a life sentence. Six other men who had paid the couple to abuse the boy, who is now 10, were sentenced to between eight and 10 years.

The men who abused the boy allegedly paid as much as $11,000 to the couple, who identified as Berrin T and Christian L, and admitted in court that they had sold the boy and even abused him themselves. The Guardian added, “Others on trial included a 44-year-old German who was given access to rape the boy but was prevented by the mother from carrying out his wish to kill him.” (Read more from “Woman Repeatedly Sells Young Son to Pedophiles” HERE)

Oh My: Why This GOP Strategist Was Muted for Seven Seconds on MSNBC

GOP strategist Rick Wilson got a little too animated for MSNBC producers Monday during a discussion on President Trump. Wilson is one of the president’s most outspoken Republican critics, even writing a book called, Everything Trump Touches Dies. MSNBC had him on to chat a bit about Trump’s supposedly cowardly fanbase.

The conversation started off with Wilson sounding off on Republicans who love Trump because he gives them a chance to finally express the hate in their hearts.

“They love the fact that Donald Trump finally gives them this sort of id of the Republican Party,” Wilson said. “They’re finally given permission to say the ugly things they kind of wanted in their secret hearts for a long time, and the monster got out of its cage in terms of a lot of the populist messaging that worked to motivate Republican primary voters for a long time.”

All of a sudden, his mic was cut off. For the next seven seconds, Wilson was talking, but there was no sound. (start watching at 4:45)

Millions Drop off Food Stamps Under Trump, Small Business Optimism Soars to All-Time High

According to new numbers recently released by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, millions of Americans have left welfare checks behind after the program ballooned to record recipients under President Obama.

Further, a new Gallup poll shows small business optimism just hit an all time high. Here’s why:

U.S. small-business owners are more optimistic now than at any point in the 15-year history of the Wells Fargo/Gallup Small Business Index. In the latest quarterly survey, which measures small-business owners’ attitudes about a wide variety of factors affecting their businesses, the overall index score is +118.
