Florida Family Is Raising a Gender-Neutral ‘Theyby’

By The Blaze. A Florida family is opting to raise their child, Sparrow, as “gender-neutral,” and calling the child a “theyby.”

According to WTSP-TV, Ari Dennis — Sparrow’s mom — believes that her child’s genitals don’t determine her child’s gender.

“We did not assign a sex at birth, which means when they were born, they had genitals, we know what they are, we just chose to acknowledge that those genitals don’t indicate anything about gender,” Dennis explained.

Dennis said that Sparrow, who is 11 months old, will be able to decide his or her gender when he or she is older, and even noted that her child’s birth certificate says “unknown” under “sex.”

Dennis told WTSP that she was inspired to raise her child as a gender-neutral baby after their older child “discovered gender around the age of four.” (Read more from “Florida Family Is Raising a Gender-Neutral ‘Theyby'” HERE)

Raising Sparrow: Not a Boy or a Girl. This Florida Family Is Raising a Gender-Neutral ‘Theyby’

By 10 News. Instead of “boy” or “girl”, gender neutral babies are known as “theybies”. “Theybies” refer to babies without a known sex.

This parenting philosophy means only the parents and trusted caregivers know the baby’s anatomy. They believe the gender part comes later and is left up to the child. Ari Dennis is one of those parents. . .

Sparrow’s family isn’t alone. A closed Facebook group called “Parenting Theybies” has roughly 350 members. (Read more from “Raising Sparrow: Not a Boy or a Girl. This Florida Family Is Raising a Gender-Neutral ‘Theyby'” HERE)

Twitter Sued by Blogger Blocked for Tweets About Transgender

Social media giant Twitter is being sued by a Canadian blogger who says she was permanently banned from the platform last year for her tweets about transgender people, a lawsuit said Monday.

Meghan Murphy, the founder of the blog Feminist Current, was locked out of her account last year when the company asked her to delete a tweet that said, “Men aren’t women,” CNET reported, citing the lawsuit. A second tweet said, “How are transwomen not men?” according to the suit.

She had violated the social media site’s rules against hateful conduct when she referenced a transgender woman as “him,” resulting in her ban, the Mercury News reported. (Read more from “Twitter Sued by Blogger Blocked for Tweets About Transgender” HERE)

They Will Never Stop: House Democrats Are Planning Another Trump-Russia Witch Hunt

The Department of Justice’s Russia investigation headed by Special Counsel Robert Mueller is said to be close to closing up shop, though we’ve had that for months and we’re still waiting on a report. So far, there is zero evidence of Trump-Russia collusion, the unicorn the Left is hoping to physically take a hold of in order to impeach the president. They’re still seething over their 2016 election loss. They hate President Trump. And that animus extends into the liberal media who has been astoundingly wrong in their coverage of this story. There have been so many so-called bombshells that have turned out to be nothing burgers. It’s hard to count them all. The latest is BuzzFeed’s recent trip-up over ex-personal attorney Michael Cohen, who they say was directed to lie to Congress about a Russian real estate deal by President Trump. That story was discredited…by the Mueller investigation. And yet, even when this investigation ends, it won’t stop there. House Democrats are already planning another wild goose chase into Russia and the president (via Axios) [emphasis mine]:

Mueller is just the beginning. House Democrats plan a vast probe of President Trump and Russia — with a heavy focus on money laundering — that will include multiple committees and dramatic public hearings, and could last into 2020.

The state of play: The aggressive plans were outlined yesterday by a Democratic member of Congress at a roundtable for Washington reporters. The member said Congress plans interviews with new witnesses, and may go back to earlier witnesses who “stonewalled” under the Republican majority.

Independent Investigation Shows Covington Boys Told the Truth, Confirms Nathan Phillips Is a Liar Amplified by the Media

The results of an independent investigation into the January 18, 2019 Lincoln Memorial confrontation between leftist activist Nathan Phillips, black supremacist group the Black Hebrew Israelites and students from Covington Catholic High School were released Wednesday by Greater Cincinatti Investigation, Inc.

The report, which is four pages long, shows what everyone could have known initially if the time was taken to reach for context: Covington students didn’t use a single racial slur against either Phillips or the Black Hebrew Israelites and they didn’t instigate the confrontation. In fact, it was the opposite.

“We found no evidence of offensive or racist statements by students to Mr. Phillips or members of his group,” the report states. “We found no evidence that the students performed a ‘Build the Wall’ chant.”

The incident went viral after a tiny portion of the more than hour long ordeal was posted on the internet. The boys from Covington, who are teenagers, were accused of “staring down” and hurling racial statements. There was no evidence of this, but because they were white boys wearing “Make America Great Again” hats, confirmation bias claimed it was true. Journalists took Phillips at his word, not because it was true, but because he is Native American. Interestingly, the investigation found in years past some students purchased “Hope” hats in support of former President Barack Obama. . .

“We have attempted to reach out to Mr. Phillips by phone and by e-mail, informing him that we desired to interview him in person and that we were prepared to meet him in Michigan or any location he might prefer. We also sent Mr. Phillips’ daughter an e-mail as they both appear to be involved in the Native Youth Alliance and have shared their e-mail addresses after the event to thank everyone for reaching out and supporting them. We never received a response to our inquiries,” the report states. “Mr. Phillip’s public interviews contain some inconsistencies, and we have not been able to resolve them or verify his comments due to our inability to contact him.” (Read more from “Independent Investigation Shows Covington Boys Told the Truth, Confirms Nathan Phillips Is a Liar Amplified by the Media” HERE)

Watch: Ilhan Omar Explodes at CNN Reporter

Anti-Semitic Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) snapped at a CNN reporter on Wednesday, bridling under increasing media scrutiny over her anti-Semitic beliefs.

CNN’s Manu Raju — who has arguably done the best job of tracking down Omar and asking her tough questions — approached her and asked her about President Donald Trump’s call for her to resign from Congress.

“The president said that you should resign and the vice president said you should be held accountable for your views,” Raju said to Omar. “Can you respond to that?”

. . .Raju later tried to question Omar over her response to President Trump, when she tweeted: “Hi @realDonaldTrump, You have trafficked in hate your whole life—against Jews, Muslims, Indigenous, immigrants, black people and more. I learned from people impacted by my words. When will you?”

“Are you serious?” Omar asked. “What is wrong with you?”

What Happens When Illegal Aliens and Mexican Cartels Shut Down Our Government?

Why is it that the media and politicians are terrorized at the prospect of a partial government shutdown at the end of the week? Presumably, because they fear certain nonessential functions of government will halt and eventually some essential functions could be slowed down as well. But why is there no concern when brutal Mexican cartels are able to shut down basic services in border counties with waves of hundreds of impoverished and sick migrants, strain their social services, and fleece the pocketbooks of American taxpayers? Isn’t that the shutdown we should be addressing?

Hidalgo County, which fills out the bootheel of New Mexico, has four sheriff’s deputies, seven emergency medical services personnel, a small health clinic in Lordsburg, and a few volunteer EMTs who provide health care out of their homes or in clinics in rancher villages like Animas. It might seem like subpar infrastructure for health and public safety, but it is enough for 5,000 peaceful citizens used to living a life of rugged individualism. However, what happens when cartels target that county for an invasion of at least 28 groups of 100-400 volatile migrants at a time within a period of four months? What happens to their services then? You might call it a government shutdown.

It’s bad enough when such a volume of illegal immigration is driven into more built-up counties along the border with greater infrastructure, such as Yuma County, Arizona. In southwest Arizona, there is a city right at the international port of entry in San Luis with a substantial CBP headquarters to process the illegal immigrants. Yet it’s still a strain on the local counties. As Yuma County Sheriff Leon Wilmot said on my podcast last month, the migration just in Yuma is costing about $1.2 billion. He noted that “the Border Patrol has to buy diapers, feminine hygiene, hot meals, etc.” and “have essentially turned into a bed and breakfast and transportation hub for the cartels to further their criminal enterprise.”

While most of this cost is eaten by federal taxpayers, it also strains the local government. “Just last year alone, the Border Patrol took 1,700 illegal immigrants to our local hospital, which took about 10,000 Border Patrol man-hours off the field, and it cost us taxpayers $700,000 in medical bills,” said the sheriff.

Now picture Hidalgo County, New Mexico, with 5,000 people in 4,200 square miles with not a single village, never mind a town, anywhere in the southern part of the county, and a tiny CBP headquarters at a border crossing that has nothing but a single building with no city around it. Antelope Wells point of entry was originally manned by a single agent and saw, on average, four vehicles per day pass through the checkpoint. The main CBP headquarters, which in itself is not big, is a 90-minute drive northwest in Lordsburg. The nearest hospital is roughly the same distance northeast in Deming, which is in neighboring Luna County. The Deming hospital itself only has a few physicians on staff now treating all these illegal migrants.

This is why an invasion of thousands of migrants is so devastating to this particular county. As migrants come in with influenza, scabies, flesh-eating bacteria, and all sorts of sicknesses, not only has the Border Patrol been commandeered into an EMT service, as it has been in all border sectors, the paltry services of Hidalgo and surrounding counties are marshalled into this free service for illegal aliens as well.

I spoke with David Whipple, the head of the seven-man EMS team in Lordsburg, the Hidalgo County seat, and he told me that while CBP has stepped up in recent weeks to provide its own EMTs, his tiny ambulance service has had to drive all the way down to the border, pick up sick migrants together with at least two border agents at a time, and drive them to the hospital in Deming and then back again.

“That is a six-hour trip, so it takes one crew and ambulance out of service for six hours for just one patient. That definitely strains us because we have a crew gone for so long. … We might only leave two people in our service area during these trips.”

Hidalgo County can bill Border Patrol for the cost, but the feds don’t pay back in a timely fashion. This small service is owed between $40,000 and $50,000, according to Whipple. But the lost time that endangers county residents who pay taxes can never be paid back. “We can take care of our own with limited staff; we have the same staff now as we had back when I started 30 years ago, and we did fine until this hit. We might have to add more EMS staff in the future if this doesn’t let up.”

Joel Edwards, a retired teacher in Hidalgo who now serves as one of the three county commissioners, expressed his frustration with the lack of resources and attention to the plight of his county. “The clinics try to squeeze everyone in, including the migrants coming with border agents. Nobody is being turned away, so they are doubling and tripling up during the same appointment times and some of our residents are getting irritated for having longer wait periods and less time with the physician.”

Even more disturbing is the fact that for those illegal immigrants who aren’t as severely sick, Border Patrol will often take them to the tiny clinics in Lordsburg (pop. 2,500) and Animas (pop. 237). The facility in Lordsburg has two physicians, and the one in Animas has one nurse practitioner. Local citizens have to wait in line while those who violate our sovereignty get served for free and expose the staff to diseases that we thought were long eradicated.

“We would like to think that we have a safe environment; we’ve vaccinated our kids and eradicated many of these diseases we’ve stopped worrying about,” said Edwards. “Now our population is subjected to having to rub elbows with people who have various diseases, and some of these diseases, we don’t know what they are. Just like with the drugs, we are worried about the safety of our residents.”

Edwards also discussed concerns about the lack of local law enforcement to deal with the cartel activity threatening the ranchers at the border. “Some people think that these ranchers down on the border are a bunch of whiners, but I’m here to tell you they are tough people. They are not used to having to ask for stuff; they are self-sufficient. All they want is an opportunity to ranch and farm their land in a safe manner.”

Edwards confirmed that the ranchers are calling for barriers that will effectively “restrict this illegal traffic coming across with drugs and human smuggling.”

“When you head towards Hachita, the fence disappears and there’s nothing but a barbed-wire barrier. I can walk through that fence without it even slowing me down. There are places where you can just walk under the fence.”

Edwards noted that the low wired fences are even worse than the Normandy barriers because they can’t even fully stop vehicle traffic. “There are places where they simply take the ties off of the barbed wire as it goes onto the ‘T’ posts. They undo the ties and hold the wire down, standing on it, while someone else drives a vehicle over it. After they cross, they turn it loose and put the wire back, so you can’t even tell without close inspection that they took the wires off the post.”

“I’ve heard this all from the ranchers. … We are a real soft spot at the border.”

This the most basic shutdown of the federal and local government, and it’s being done by belligerent and dangerous cartels.

“We had asked for help and didn’t even get an answer to our letter,” said the commissioner, referring to a letter his county manager wrote to state and federal officials asking for more resources.

In the Declaration of Independence, one of the indictments against King George is that he failed to protect the colonists from the Indians at the frontier and even incited their invasions. The core reason why we formed a federal government 13 years after the revolution is because we needed a stronger government to protect the sovereignty of all the states and counties. This is why we have a government. So that ranchers at our border can feel just as safe from foreign cartels and their evil activity as those living in the Acela corridor of the northeast. We don’t have a government to get involved in every aspect of our society and economy. And when the federal government fails to do its job in deterring external chaos, it hurts the internal affairs of counties like Hidalgo. That is the true government shutdown that few in Washington care about. Oh, so Typical: The Shut Down Deadline Is Friday. When Do You Think the Text of the Budget Deal Will Be Released?

So now that Democrats are in charge of Congress, will the bad practice of dropping the legislative text of major budget deals just a day before lawmakers are supposed to vote end?

LOL nope!

Budget Deal and Executive Order? Trump Readies Plan to Fund Border Wall Without Congress

President Donald Trump may get only around $1.4 billion for his signature anti-illegal immigration measure — the border wall — but the White House appears to have a plan to acquire the rest of the funding necessary to build the full wall, they’ll just need to be more creative with finances to do it.

Reuters reports that the White House has tentatively agreed to support a congressional compromise budget bill that avoids a second government shutdown in as many months, even though the $1.4 billion the bill includes for Trump’s wall along the southern border falls far short of what the White Houes wanted, a cool $5.7 billion.

The White House remains concerned about the political fallout, however, from a second shutdown, even though polls show that Americans would likely blame Democrats for failing to come to a budget deal, but they also recognize that the border wall is a popular issue, with something around 2/3s of Americans supporting some form of physical barrier across the southern border.

To that end, the White House has reportedly been exploring “other options,” aside from begging Congress to fully fund the border wall on an incremental basis. Trump still hasn’t given up on potentially declaring a national emergency, which would allow the White House to expend unlimited funds to handle the project, but the administration recognizes that such an extreme option could lose them the political cache they’ve gained over the past several weeks. Money in Politics? Ilhan Omar Will Fly to LA for Fundraiser With… Terror-Tied CAIR

Newly elected Rep. Ilhan Omar will jet off to Los Angeles next month to keynote a fundraiser for the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), a terror-tied organization that was named an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest terrorist financing case in U.S. history.

On March 23, Omar will speak at CAIR-Los Angeles’ 4th Annual Valley Banquet, where tables will cost $500.

“CAIR-LA is honored to have Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-MN) as the featured speaker for the 4th Annual Valley Banquet,” reads a press release from the Los Angeles chapter of the group that was formed as a Hamas support network in the United States.

She will deliver her address alongside CAIR-Florida director Hassan Shibly, according to a CAIR flier promoting the event. Shibly is a dedicated Islamist and bigoted gay basher. A fan of radical clerics, he has routinely refused to categorize U.S.-designated terror groups Hamas and Hezbollah as terrorist organizations, according to the Clarion Project. Moreover, Shibly regularly takes to social media to demonize the U.S. military as equivalent to the jihadi terrorists that they are fighting.

The director of CAIR-Los Angeles is Hussam Ayloush, who, like many CAIR executives, has disturbing Islamist views. Following the tragic San Bernardino terrorist attacks, Ayloush suggested that the United States was “partly responsible” for the ISIS-led attack on innocents in California. “Let’s not forget that some of our own foreign policy, as Americans, as the West, have fueled that extremism,” he added. Ayloush has in the past described U.S. military operations in Iraq and Afghanistan as part of a campaign to instill “fear of the Muslims.”

The news comes on the heels of Rep. Omar’s controversial comments — that many on the Left and Right almost unanimously condemned as anti-Semitic tropes — about money in politics, in which she claimed that Jewish groups like AIPAC buy off politicians. Though AIPAC does not contribute to political campaigns, CAIR certainly does. Omar has received tens of thousands of dollars from CAIR and other political action committees. Additionally, CAIR held several fundraising events solely for the benefit of Omar’s congressional campaign.

CAIR’s fundraiser is just one of the controversial events lined up for Omar’s schedule. On February 23, she will speak at a fundraiser for Islamic Relief USA, the American branch of the terror-tied group Islamic Relief Worldwide. The Middle East Forum has discovered that she will be accompanied by a senior charity official who has often “expressed violently anti-Semitic ideas on his social-media accounts,” sometimes specifically calling for the murder of Jews. Islamic Relief has been banned by Israel and the UAE for allegedly funneling money to terrorist organizations. HSBC bank has also severed ties with the organization, cautioning that funds delivered to the group could end up in the war chests of terrorist organizations. New Border ‘Deal’: Building 3% of the Wall and Making ICE Pay for It

Actually fixing the border problem, the court-driven loopholes spawning the Central American invasion, was never even in the cards. Trump began with a demand of $25 billion in border funding to solve a policy problem with money. Then it became $5.6 billion. In the “deal” cooked up by a congressional committee, it’s reportedly $1.375 billion, which is actually slightly less than the $1.6 billion Senate Democrats already agreed to last June! Now that we are left with enough money to build 55 miles of bollard fencing, the trade-off is not worth the money, because the cost will be borne by ICE and ultimately the American people.

Democrats were the ones who engaged in “the art of the deal” on this super-committee over border funding. Rather than discussing how to end the magnets and catch-and-release, Democrats opened a new front last week by demanding more catch-and-release through the proposal of a rigid cap on the number of beds ICE can maintain in order to detain illegal aliens, most of them dangerous criminals, through interior apprehensions. The proposal was just a trial balloon, but it allowed Democrats to then pull back from the demand, look all magnanimous and cooperative, yet still come out ahead of the game with a lower limitation on ICE detentions.

Under the committee’s proposal, Democrats and RINOs agreed to provide enough funds for ICE to house 40,520 detainees by the end of the fiscal year. Not only is that below the 52,000 request from the administration, it is a 17.4 percent cut from the current level of 49,057 detainees. The border surge is growing every day, and without any desire to get rid of the magnets and fix the court problems with asylum, unaccompanied minors, and catch-and-release, the invasion will only grow as nicer weather returns in the early spring. Trump will have fewer resources to detain illegals than under the current policy, which will induce even more catch-and release, thereby incentivizing even more illegal immigration in a perpetual death spiral for American sovereignty.

What does Trump get in return? Fifty-five miles of non-concrete fencing in the Rio Grande Valley in eastern Texas. It’s like putting a Band-aid over a gushing arterial puncture wound.

Moreover, the migration is already being driven westward into New Mexico and away from Texas. That is where we need a wall.

Furthermore, by agreeing to this deal, Trump would then pave the road to pass a long-term funding bill for the rest of government through September 30. The one thing he has going for him is the fact that these short-term funding bills keep the issue of the border alive as the top priority in the country. This allows him to potentially harness what will inevitably be a worsening of the crisis to further pressure the Democrats as time goes on. Once the deadline is punted for the remainder of the fiscal year, there is no hope left. Thus, in order for it to be worth the trade, Trump must get something more substantial or at least not agree to make current policy worse for ICE.

Trump panned the deal today during a cabinet meeting and said, “I’m adding things to it.”

The weak nature of this deal is not surprising, given the makeup of the committee. Republicans had Sens. Shelby, Capito, Blunt, and Hoeven negotiating for them. The latter three have always been supporters of amnesty, and Hoeven himself was the lead sponsor of the final Senate version of the 2013 Gang of 8 amnesty! There really is no fundamental disagreement on this issue between the two sides.

Some are suggesting that Trump plans to secure more wall funding through the declaration of an emergency and reprogramming of defense funding through section 2808 of the Emergencies Act. However, if he plans to go the executive route anyway, then he should just do that without agreeing to a bad deal. Politically, Trump needs to keep the issue alive with a clean short-term CR in order to effectively make the case to the American people why this is indeed an emergency.

To that end, Trump would be better off rejecting this deal and doing the following:

1) Announce that he will only sign a short-term funding bill until the broader problems with catch-and-release are dealt with or he gets the full funding for the wall.

2) Trump should immediately announce through the proper use of the Administrative Procedure Act that he intends to terminate DACA within 90 days. That is his greatest source of leverage over Democrats. But again, that only works if he keeps the budget deadline as a live football and doesn’t agree to a long-term funding bill. Democrats need to feel the pressure of a deadline while also fearing they will lose on immigration what they already have in the bag.

3) Trump needs to take a holistic approach to the emergency rather than focus solely on wall funding. He should designate the Mexican cartels as terror groups and use the DOD assets that this designation frees up to start threatening them.

4) Trump should invoke “Title 10” powers over the National Guard to override the liberal governors who are pulling back troops, particularly in New Mexico. The show of force is clearly working in Central Texas, but now the migration is being driven westward. Given that the state government of New Mexico doesn’t want to use such force, Trump needs to do it.

5) Trump should deputize state law enforcement at the border to perform immigration duties. 103(a)(10) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) allows the attorney general, in the event of “an imminent mass influx of migrants” at our border, with the permission of the relevant state agency heads, to “perform or exercise any of the powers, privileges, or duties conferred or imposed” by immigration law. Obviously, the governments in California and New Mexico won’t agree, but this will work for Texas and Arizona.

6) Under a similar provision, the president can deputize any other federal agent, from Fish and Wildlife and Bureau of Management to the U.S. Marshals and National Park Service, to perform border duties. For those federal lands at or near the border, this is needed anyway because many of them feel unsafe with the trespassing of cartel traffickers on federal lands.

7) After building a comprehensive approach to the border and the cartels centered around the military, then Trump should invoke his emergency powers to reprogram DOD funding as well as using existing authority to build fencing under 10 U.S.C. § 284 to combat drug trafficking.

8) Trump should expand the policy of processing asylum claims in Mexico to the rest of the border. Currently, DHS is only doing this at San Diego.

A holistic approach will demonstrate to the American people that this truly is an emergency and make any reprogramming of funds more politically sound. The president needs to stop beating around the bush on negotiations that fail to address the source of the problems anyway.
