President Joe Biden claimed Thursday he spoke with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) about the federal government response to Hurricane Ian “four or five times” after initially resisting calling the governor personally.

The White House spent most of Tuesday defending the president for resisting making a personal phone call to DeSantis prior to the storm, despite previously doing so for other governors facing damaging hurricanes.

DeSantis told reporters Tuesday evening he had not heard from Biden personally, but that he would be “happy to brief the President if he’s interested in hearing what we’re doing in Florida.”

Witness at Congressional Hearing Claims ‘Men Can Have Pregnancies, Especially Trans Men’ (VIDEO)

During a House Committee on Oversight and Reform hearing on Thursday, Dr. Bhavik Kumar, who was a witness at the hearing, asserted that men can get pregnant — Kumar describes himself on social media as a “Family medicine physician” and “Abortion and trans care provider in the south.”

When GOP Rep. Andrew Clyde of Georgia asked whether biological men can get pregnant and give birth, Kumar responded by claiming that “men can have pregnancies, especially trans men.”

The claim that men can get pregnant is patently absurd — biological men cannot get pregnant and transgender men are just biological women masquerading as men.

Clyde pressed the issue, asking if Kumar was suggesting that a biological woman who identifies as a man and gets pregnant is actually a man.

“These questions about who can become pregnant are really missing the point,” Kumar said, indicating that the issue was not the topic that he was there to discuss. “Somebody with a uterus may have” the capacity for pregnancy, Kumar said, adding that it does not “make a difference” if the person is a woman or a man, and that not everyone with a uterus can get pregnant. Human remains of those laid to rest were exposed after heavy rainfall and wind hit a central Florida cemetery during Hurricane Ian.

Video from Fox 35 Orlando showed a graveyard in Oakland, Florida, where some graves were exposed during the torrential downpours and heavy winds of Hurricane Ian.

Queen Elizabeth II’s Cause of Death Revealed

Queen Elizabeth II died of old age more than three hours before the public were informed of her passing, official records show.

The 96-year-old monarch’s death certificate was released by National Records of Scotland and showed she was pronounced dead at 3.10 p.m., on September 8, 2022.

Elizabeth’s cause of death was recorded as “old age” while the place where she died was Balmoral Castle.

New Book Details Just How Paranoid Hillary Clinton Was About Trump

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is not as tough as she wants the world to believe. When it comes to former President Trump, she trembles with fear remembering the time he beat her in a landslide during the 2016 election.

A new book details just how terrified Clinton was of Trump.

Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign staffers were so paranoid they thought the Russians would poison her through a handshake with Trump during the third debate.

Titled Confidence Man: The Making of Donald Trump and the Breaking of America by the New York Times, Clinton believed that Trump was in cahoots with the Russians, planning a secret plot to poison her via a handshake.

“Democrats found themselves almost perpetually disoriented by autumn. During preparations for the third debate, Clinton’s team was disrupted by a warning from the husband of Senator Dianne Feinstein, who said he had been told that Russians might try to poison Clinton through a handshake with Trump, to inflict a dramatic health episode during the debate,” author Maggie Haberman wrote.

If the Feds Go After a Pro-Lifer Who Shoved a Bully, They’ll Go After Anyone

On Sept. 23, Pennsylvania pro-life activist Mark Houck was arrested on federal criminal charges. The details of the alleged crime and the arrest itself remain disputed, but we know enough to make a couple of observations about our nation and the current political climate.

Houck was arrested in connection with an alleged assault on a volunteer at a Philadelphia abortion facility. Unsurprisingly, the accounts differ as to what occurred. The Department of Justice issued a press release stating that Houck twice assaulted the alleged victim because he was a volunteer at an abortion facility. . .

Already we have a federalism problem here. Perhaps we have become too quick to accept the existence of an elaborate regime of federal criminal law. But as we know from the Tenth Amendment, the federal government has only the limited powers enumerated in the Constitution, with any remaining powers being reserved to the states or the people. From this comes the accepted principle in our federalist republic that states have the general police power. Federal criminal statutes and prosecutions must be limited to cases where the Constitution grants enumerated powers, such as interstate activity or crimes involving foreign agents and national security.

In this case, what we have is a very uneventful assault, where one man pushed another man. Hardly the stuff of a federal crime. An assault is a run-of-the-mill crime, and it is up to states to criminalize and prosecute such routine offenses. It is only when the assault occurs in a discriminatory way — in this case, because the alleged victim works at an abortion facility — that the feds claim jurisdiction. It remains questionable whether access to abortion facilities and assaults that occur on these properties should be within the jurisdiction of federal criminal authorities at all, but that goes beyond the scope of this essay.

A recent article on the incident explains that the Justice Department relies on the section of the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act that “prohibits violent, threatening, damaging, and obstructive conduct intended to injure, intimidate, or interfere with the right to seek, obtain or provide reproductive health services.” (Read more from “If the Feds Go After a Pro-Lifer Who Shoved a Bully, They’ll Go After Anyone” HERE)

Truth or Bluff? Why Putin’s Nuclear Warnings Have the West Worried; Why Is Russia Urgently Buying Large Amounts of Potassium Iodide?

By Reuters. President Vladimir Putin’s latest warning that he is ready to use nuclear weapons to defend Russia amid the war in Ukraine has made a troubling question much more urgent: Is the former KGB spy bluffing?

Putin cautioned it was no bluff, and Western politicians, diplomats and nuclear weapons experts are divided. Some say he could use one or more smaller, tactical nuclear weapons to try to stave off military defeat, protect his presidency, scare off the West or intimidate Kyiv into capitulation.

Putin’s warning, which was followed by a more specific threat to use a nuclear weapon in Ukraine from an ally, might mean the Kremlin is considering an escalation after Russia annexes four Ukrainian regions which it only partly occupies.

Russia’s parliament is expected to declare the regions part of Russia on Oct. 4. Once that happens the way would be clear, from Moscow’s viewpoint, for a possible defensive strike if it felt the territory was under serious threat.

Breaking the nuclear taboo would be a sign of desperation, however, so whether or not Putin does go nuclear may ultimately depend on how cornered he feels in a conflict which has, thus far, humbled rather than defeated a former superpower. Russia Is Urgently Buying Large Amounts of Potassium Iodide, Compound That Protects From Nuclear Radiation

By International Business Times. The Russian Federation has urgently ordered a large batch of potassium iodide, a chemical compound used to block a type of radioactive material in case of nuclear accidents, according to a Russian government agency.

The Russian government is planning to purchase at least five million rubles or $86,000 worth of potassium iodide. Russia only allocated four days for the procurement procedure. A copy of the order was published on the website of the State of Procurement of Russia, which stressed that Moscow purchases potassium iodide for the population every year.

The drug potassium iodide is used to protect a person’s thyroid gland from the effects of radioactive iodine, which can increase the risk of thyroid cancer in infants, children and young adults when absorbed at high levels. That being said, potassium iodide does not protect other body parts from the effects of other types of radiation.

White House Gaslights Reporters After Biden Searches Crowd for Dead Congresswoman: ‘Not All that Unusual’

“Jackie are you here? Where’s Jackie?” Biden asked looking out at the audience after naming and thanking members of both parties who helped work on the event.

Rep. Jackie Walorski (R-IN) died in a tragic car accident in August.

But White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre refused to explain why Biden said what he did, after video of the moment went viral on social media.

“The president was naming the congressional champions on this issue and was acknowledging her incredible work,” she said during the daily press briefing at the White House. Another Poll Reveals Majority of Americans Have Doubts About Biden’s Mental Fitness

By Townhall. President Joe Biden has suffered from multiple embarrassing gaffes throughout his short time in office, making Americans question whether Biden is mentally fit enough to run the country.

A recent Harvard/Harris poll found that 56 percent of Americans “have doubts” about Biden’s mental capabilities to serve as President of the U.S., while 63 percent of people said that Biden is “too old” to be in charge of the White House. . .

This comes as our President, the President of the United States, repeatedly called on a dead congresswoman during an event addressing hunger.

Indiana Congresswoman Jackie Walorski died in a car accident just last month, which seemed to have slipped Biden’s mind.

Sarah Palin ‘Honored’ to Get Backing From Nation’s Largest LGBTQ Republican Activist Group

Sarah Palin, who is running for U.S. House in the Nov. 8 election, just Tweeted out that she has been endorsed by the Log Cabin Republicans, which claims to be the nation’s oldest and largest group of LGBT Republican activists.

“I am honored to have earned the endorsement of the Log Cabin Republicans in the race for Alaska’s at-large congressional seat,” Palin tweeted on Sept. 28. “Republicans must unite to win this important election so we can reclaim the House majority and start working to get America back on the right track. Together, we will restore American energy dominance, curtail inflation, get the economy growing again, and protect our God-given individual liberties.”

The Log Cabin Republican’s website claims the group is comprised of “loyal Republicans” who aim to “educate Republicans” on how to accept and advance the LGBTQ agenda.

“Log Cabin is PROUD to endorse @SarahPalinUSA for Congress!” the group stated on Sept. 27. “Palin is a trailblazer who paved the way for the America First movement. Her commitment and dedication to Alaska is unparalleled and admirable. Palin will protect individual liberties for all Americans!”

For Log Cabin Republicans, “individual liberties” includes gay marriage, LGBTQ adoption and a nationwide ban on so-called underage “conversion therapy.” This term is often used by LGBTQ activists as a way to outlaw Christian and religious-based therapists from counseling and encouraging youth to accept their biological sex, rather than take hormones and surgeries to appear as the opposite sex.

The group also opposes bills that aim to safeguard conscience rights and has fought against banning transgender restrooms in government facilities. This is a direct violation of the Republican National Committee’s resolution to oppose transgender facilities.

“Working from inside the Party — educating other Republicans about LGBT issues — is the most effective way to gain new Republican allies for equality,” the group states. “Equality will be impossible to achieve without Republican votes.”

Aside from working inside conservative circles, Log Cabin also network with radical LGBTQ groups from all political persuasions to advance its agenda.

“Over the last three decades, many LGBT activists and straight allies worked hard to make the Democratic Party more inclusive on LGBT issues,” the group’s website explains. “Log Cabin Republicans are doing the same important work to transform the GOP. Without more allies in the Republican Party, equality will be impossible to achieve.”

Soros-Linked Group Wins Multimillion Dollar Contract From Biden to Help Illegal Aliens Evade Deportation

A non-governmental organization (NGO), with financial links to billionaire George Soros, has won a $41 million federal contract from President Joe Biden’s Department of Justice (DOJ) to help illegal aliens evade deportation from the United States.

The Acacia Center for Justice, an NGO with financial ties to the Soros-linked Vera Institute of Justice, scored a contract from Biden’s DOJ to provide “legal services” to border crossers and illegal aliens after they are released into the U.S. interior in the hopes of staying permanently.

Fox News’s Joe Schoffstall reports:

The Biden administration awarded $41 million in taxpayer-backed government contracts to a new liberal nonprofit working to help illegal immigrants fight deportation amid the escalating border crisis, Fox News Digital has discovered. [Emphasis added]

The Acacia Center for Justice, a Washington, D.C.,-based nonprofit born from a partnership between the Vera Institute of Justice and Capital Area Immigrants’ Rights (CAIR), has received six “legal services” contracts from the Department of Justice that carried start dates of Sept. 1, according to records.
