FBI Director: ISIS Probes in Every State Except Alaska

Photo Credit: clarionledgerAs Americans stood horrified at the news of a Jordanian pilot burned alive by the terrorist group known as the Islamic State, one of the top law enforcement officers in the country talked about how Mississippians can fight those kind of extremist ideals within our own borders.

FBI Director James Comey, who was in the state for the second visit of his 10-year term, said there are open cases looking into individuals who may be related to ISIS/ISIL in every state in the Union except Alaska.

“Mississippi is a great state, but like all 50 states it has troubled souls that might look to find meaning in this sick, misguided way. The challenge that we face in law enforcement is that they may be getting exposed to that poison and that training in their basement,” Comey said. “They’re sitting there consuming and may emerge from the basement to kill people of any sort, which is the call of ISIL, just kill somebody.”

So he stressed that the threat is very real, not just for military or law enforcement or the media, all of whom have been warned by the FBI that ISIS could be gunning for them, but for ordinary citizens as well. (Read more about where ISIS probes are HERE)

After State University Hired Terrorists Three Times, Legislators Finally Had Enough

Photo Credit: FlickrAfter the University of Illinois hired convicted terrorists – three times – State Rep. Charles Meier authored House Bill 150 to order public university decision-makers to stop using taxpayer funds to hire convicted terrorists.

So far, the University system has hired, then fired, then rehired, convicted terrorist killer and kidnapper James Kilgore of Symbionese Liberation Army infamy.

After kidnapping heiress Patty Hearst, helping to kill an Oakland, California, school superintendent and taking part in a bank robbery that left a mother of four dead, Kilgore changed his name and got out of the country . . .

UI also hired Bill Ayers, who admitted leading a band of Weather Underground terrorists responsible for the 1970s bombings of the U.S. Capitol, the NYPD, and the Pentagon.

Ayers and the Weather Underground inspired a bomb making spree, which caused the deaths of three of his co-conspirators, who had planned to use their homemade nail bombs to attack a dance for soldiers at Fort Dix, New Jersey. Meet the Four Year Old Saved From Abortion By Tim Tebow’s Incredible Life Story (+video)

I remember it so precisely not only because my hometown team, the New Orleans Saints, was taking on the Indianapolis Colts, but also because that was the year Focus on Family ran a television ad featuring Tim Tebow and his mother, Pam. The ad, “Celebrate Family, Celebrate Life” was unlike any Super Bowl ad I had ever seen because it brought the pro-life message to millions of viewers . . .

As LifeNews previously reported, in 1985, the family of Tim Tebow was living in the Philippines as missionaries. Pam Tebow contracted amoebic dysentery, likely from contaminated drinking water. She fell into a coma and received strong drugs to combat the infection. It turned out she was pregnant with her fifth child. Those drugs caused the placenta to detach from the uterine wall, depriving the unborn baby, Tim Tebow, of oxygen. When she realized she was pregnant, doctors stopped the drugs they had given Pam but said that the high doses of medicine had already damaged Tim.

The doctors believed there was danger to Pam and that the baby would not survive, or if he did, would have very serious problems. The best doctor they could find at the time suggested Pam have an abortion. However, Pam refused and today we all know Tim Tebow as an American football quarterback.

Now Focus on the Family has shared that the ad was so powerful that it rescued a baby from abortion. In a recent video, Susan Wood explains that it was their ad that encouraged her to choose life for her baby.

LGBT Group Sues, Says New Mexico Denny’s Refused to Serve Them

By Chris Ramirez. There is a claim of discrimination coming from a group of gay, lesbian and transgender people who visited Denny’s after a Gay Pride celebration in Deming, New Mexico in July 2014 . . .

According to Carlos’s accounts and legal documents, the group intended to grab a bite to eat after a Pride pageant. Many in the group were dressed in formal pageant wear, including some of the men and transgender people at the table . . .

Legal documents state the waitress told them she would not serve the group because, in her words, they were “fags and faggots.” Pioquinto and Carlos also say the server referred to a transgender person as a “boy with tits.”

When they complained to the manager, they said the manager sided with his server and asked the group to leave . . .

Pioquinto, Carlos and five other people in the Deming group filed a discrimination charge with the New Mexico WorkForce Solutions Department. The group wants a public apology and they want Denny’s to pay $20,000 to Deming Pride. (Read more about LGBT group filing charges HERE)

100 Letters Supporting Homosexuals Temporarily Shut Down Oklahoma Capitol

By Dallas Franklin. An all-clear was given to the Oklahoma Capitol after it was shut down for several suspicious letters . . .

In all, 100 letters supporting gay and lesbian lifestyles were dropped off at the Oklahoma State Capitol on Wednesday.

Rep. Justin Wood, who received one of the letters in question, confirms they are from the Dakhma of Angra Mainyu church, a local Satanic group.

Dastur Adam Daniels said the letters were to show the church’s opposition to Oklahoma House Bill 1125. (Read more from this story HERE)

This Open Letter By Hollywood Leftists Should Worry Hillary Clinton

By Norvell Rose. If Hillary Clinton is thinking she’ll collect a lot of Hollywood cash for her 2016 campaign coffers, she may want to think again…and start some serious outreach to left-coast lefties who are already looking beyond the former first lady to another potential female candidate.

As writer Robert Laurie points out on Herman Cain’s website, a whole lot of movie and TV stars and entertainment industry luminaries have signed an open letter to Elizabeth Warren, virtually begging the Massachusetts senator to enter the race for president.

Calling themselves “Artists for Warren,” these 90 celebs put their names to the plea for the ultra-liberal lawmaker to “stand up for working families and take on the Wall Street banks and special interests that broke our economy.”

The open letter with the heading “Run Warren Run” refers time and again to “big corporations,” “corporate interests” and the “big banks” aligned with greedy Wall Street fat cats — pleading for a champion “who stands up for the people.”

Of course, one might find it more than a tad ironic that these Hollywood types — many of whom make many times the average wage of the average American — see fit to slam the system that has made them part of the “wealthiest 1%” they so harshly criticize. Top White House Official to Leave to Join Hillary Clinton’s Possible 2016 Run

Another top aide to President Barack Obama will be leaving the White House to join Hillary Clinton ’s would-be presidential campaign, people familiar with the matter say, the latest example of the two major camps within the Democratic Party coalescing behind the former Secretary of State’s likely candidacy.

Jennifer Palmieri will leave her job as White House communications director for a comparable role with Mrs. Clinton, these people said.

The move locks in place another top position on Mrs. Clinton’s campaign team, should she choose to run.

Ms. Palmieri has connections to both the Obama and Clinton worlds, having worked in Bill Clinton ’s White House in the 1990s. She is also close to another figure who bridges both the Obama and Clinton worlds: John Podesta.

Mr. Podesta is currently a senior adviser to the president. He is due to leave the White House this month and to later join the Clinton team, perhaps in the role of campaign chairman, people familiar with events have said. (Read more from this story HERE)

The Horrifying Truth Behind Dismemberment Abortions

Many are still unable to forget the conscience-stirring images and diagrams showing an unborn child being partially delivered and then killed before fully emerging from the birth canal. Ultimately, the U.S. Supreme Court agreed that partial-birth abortion was incompatible with our nation’s character and upheld a ban on the procedure.

But partial-birth abortion is not the only method of abortion that should shock us and give rise to action. Particularly gruesome are dismemberment abortions of living unborn children, a common and brutal form of dilation and evacuation (D&E) abortion.

A key component of the Right to Life Movement’s legislative agenda in 2015 is the “Unborn Child Protection from Dismemberment Abortion Act,” recently introduced in Kansas. The accounts of abortionists themselves give a glimpse into the true horror of dismemberment abortions and why they must be stopped . . .

In testimony before a Congressional committee, former abortionist Dr. Anthony Levatino described performing a D&E abortion:

“A second trimester D&E abortion is a blind procedure. The baby can be in any orientation or position inside the uterus. Picture yourself reaching in with the Sopher clamp and grasping anything you can. At twenty weeks gestation, the uterus is thin and soft so be careful not to perforate or puncture the walls. Once you have grasped something inside, squeeze on the clamp to set the jaws and pull hard – really hard. You feel something let go and out pops a fully formed leg about 4 to 5 inches long. Reach in again and grasp whatever you can. Set the jaw and pull really hard once again and out pops an arm about the same length. Shocking: This is What Abortion Clinic Workers Do to Make Sure the Abortion is Finished

By Sarah Terzo. In a Facebook post last month, former abortion clinic administrator Abby Johnson gave a horrific description of one of her duties at Planned Parenthood. She described piecing together the bodies of babies who had been aborted. The Planned Parenthood clinic used jargon common in abortion clinics. Staffers described the babies as “Products of Conception.”

Johnson says:

When I worked at Planned Parenthood, I was trained to be a POC technician. POC stands for “Products of Conception.” Sometimes, if the staff were feeling funny, we would say that it stood for “Pieces of Children.”

Inside every abortion clinic across the country, someone is tasked to be the POC technician. Their job is to take everything suctioned out of the uterus during an abortion and reassemble the parts of the baby. We did this to ensure that the uterus was empty of all fetal parts. If something was left, it could create a potentially fatal infection for the woman.

Some pro-choicers may doubt Johnson’s claim. It sounds so gruesome, so disturbing, that pro-choice people may not want to believe it. It is easier for people who support abortion to think of the baby as a formless collection of cells or piece of tissue — anything but a miniature person. (Read more from this story HERE)

After Pilot’s Burning, Jordan’s King Steps Up Fight Against ISIS, Orders More Bombings

Photo Credit: BBC By BBC. Jordan says its warplanes have carried out their first air strikes on Islamic State (IS) targets since the militants released a video showing the killing of a captured Jordanian pilot.

On their way back, the planes flew over the village of pilot Moaz al-Kasasbeh.

Their flight coincided with a visit to the village by Jordanian King Abdullah II, who was meeting the pilot’s family.

The king has vowed to the step up the fight against IS. Jordan is part of a US-led coalition bombing the militants.

Lt Kasasbeh was captured by the militants last year after his F-16 fighter jet crashed in Syria. IS this week released a video showing the pilot being burned alive in a cage, sparking calls for revenge in Jordan. (Read more about the king’s fight against ISIS HERE)

ISIS Crucifying, Burying Children Alive

By Reuters. Islamic State militants are selling abducted Iraqi children at markets as sex slaves, and killing other youth, including by crucifixion or burying them alive, a United Nations watchdog said on Wednesday.

Iraqi boys aged under 18 are increasingly being used by the militant group as suicide bombers, bomb makers, informants or human shields to protect facilities against U.S.-led air strikes, the U.N. Committee on the Rights of the Child said.

“We are really deeply concerned at torture and murder of those children, especially those belonging to minorities, but not only from minorities,” committee expert Renate Winter told a news briefing. “The scope of the problem is huge.”

Children from the Yazidi sect or Christian communities, but also Shi’ites and Sunnis, have been victims, she said. (Read more from this story HERE)

Former Adjutant General Retiring From Alaska National Guard

Brig. Gen. Leon “Mike” Bridges, who served as acting adjutant general of the Alaska National Guard after the ouster of a former leader, plans to retire on May 1 after he was not chosen to permanently take over the job. . .

Bridges said in an interview Wednesday that he applied for the position and considered himself to be a useful soldier and public servant. But he said Walker is commander in chief of the state’s military forces and has selected his new leadership team . . .

Bridges oversaw a transitional period for the Guard. In September, a report on allegations of sexual assault and other misconduct within the Guard by the National Guard Bureau’s Office of Complex Investigations found victims lacked confidence in the command . . .

Since taking office, Walker’s administration has named retired state court judge Patricia Collins as a special investigator to look into allegations of sexual abuse or harassment by National Guard members. Collins also has been asked assess whether allegations were adequately investigated by law enforcement; whether any cases were handled appropriately by prosecutors; and other matters. Feds Threaten Local Law Enforcement: Support Obama’s Illegal Amnesty or Lose Funding

Photo Credit: Western Journalism According to a Facebook post by one Colorado sheriff, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson is taking a personal interest in making sure authorities across the nation fall in line with the Obama administration’s immigration policy. Larimer County Sheriff Justin Smith reported receiving a “very interesting veiled threat” from Johnson, which he said was addressed to “all police chiefs and sheriffs around the country.”

Within the correspondence, Smith explained, was a promise that “local and state public safety agencies would not receive federal grants they were counting on” if legislators do not endorse the DHS funding bill Obama supports

After Obama’s executive action regarding immigration – a move that erases the threat of deportation for millions of illegals currently in the U.S. – was issued late last year, Republicans in Congress have characterized the order as a back door amnesty. Smith reports that the administration is now attempting to co-opt law enforcement agencies to plead Obama’s case before local lawmakers under threat of severe budget cuts.

“Let me get this straight,” he wrote in the Facebook post, “—the president believes he has the authority to nullify federal laws that don’t serve his personal agenda, but if Congress dares to exercise it’s [sic] responsibility of controlling the purse strings, he will willingly hold public safety grants hostage just to get his way?” (Read more about “Feds Threaten Local Law Enforcement” HERE)

Scott Walker Working to Harness Worldwide Donor Network for 2016 Run

By Matea Gold. It was not yet 8 a.m. on a recent Sunday morning, but a crowd of heavyweight GOP donors was gathered on the back patio of Carl and Jimmy Westcott’s desert vacation home to hear from Scott Walker.

The eager reception for the Wisconsin governor and likely presidential candidate — who picked up a $100,000 check on the spot from one person at the Indian Wells, Calif., event — was repeated as he hopscotched across the country last week in the first fundraising tour for his new political committee.

In the intense jockeying to win the 2016 money primary, former Florida governor Jeb Bush and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie are moving aggressively to lock down financial backers nationwide. On their heels is Walker, who has a 50-state network of wealthy contributors and small donors far more expansive than might be expected for a Midwestern governor and former Milwaukee county executive.

Walker’s thick donor file is the byproduct of a contentious effort to recall the governor in 2012 after he pushed through a law curtailing collective-bargaining rights for many public employees. (Read more from this story HERE)
