Survey Reveals Majority Express Doubts About President Biden’s Mental Fitness

A recent Harvard-Harris survey has unveiled that a significant majority of Americans harbor doubts about President Joe Biden’s mental fitness, with 59 percent expressing concerns about his ability to serve in the highest office. The survey, conducted on February 21-22 among 2,022 registered voters, paints a concerning picture for the Biden administration.

Respondents were asked a straightforward question: “Is Joe Biden mentally fit to serve as President of the United States, or do you have doubts about his fitness for office?” The results revealed that 59 percent had reservations about President Biden’s mental fitness, while 41 percent did not share such concerns.

What’s noteworthy is the internal breakdown of these numbers. Surprisingly, nearly one-third of Democrats, constituting 32 percent, admitted to having doubts about Biden’s mental fitness. Independents were even more skeptical, with 66 percent expressing concerns. Among Republicans, the doubt percentage stood at 92 percent.

Additionally, 67 percent of respondents believed that President Biden is “showing he is too old” for the role. This sentiment was shared by 40 percent of Democrats, a staggering 92 percent of Republicans, and 68 percent of Independents.

The survey follows ongoing concerns regarding President Biden’s physical and mental fitness, particularly gaining attention after the release of Special Counsel Robert Hur’s report. Although Hur decided not to pursue prosecution over Biden’s handling of classified documents, the report included startling revelations about the deterioration of Biden’s mental state.

“We have also considered that, at trial, Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during our interview of him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory,” the report states. It continues, “It would be difficult to convince a jury that they should convict him — by then a former president well into his eighties — of a serious felony that requires a mental state of willfulness.”

Notably, the report highlighted instances where Biden could not recall essential details, such as when he served as vice president or the date of his son Beau’s death, raising additional concerns about his cognitive abilities.

Smoking Gun: Biden DOJ Took Advice From Group Demonizing Concerned Parents, Docs Show

The Justice Department arm focused on prosecuting “hate crimes” welcomed input from a far-left organization known for demonizing conservatives and Christians right after that organization put parental rights groups, including Moms for Liberty, on a “hate map” alongside the Ku Klux Klan, documents obtained by The Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project reveal. (The Daily Signal is Heritage’s news and commentary outlet.)

The Southern Poverty Law Center, which notoriously brands mainstream conservative and Christian organizations as hateful by placing them on a “hate map” in what a former employee describes as a fundraising scheme, reached out to the DOJ’s Civil Rights Division on June 6, 2023—the day the SPLC released its annual “Year in Hate and Extremism” report and had added Moms for Liberty to the map.

The new documents, obtained by the Oversight Project via a Freedom of Information Act request, reveal yet more collaboration between the Biden administration and the far-left group.

The Justice Department confirmed to the Washington Examiner that the briefing did indeed take place, although the department did not specify when.

Michael Lieberman, senior policy counsel for “hate & extremism” at the SPLC, reached out to Robert Moossy Jr., deputy assistant attorney general at the DOJ’s Civil Rights Division, and Sheila Foran, acting head of the Civil Rights Division’s Policy and Strategy Section, granting Moossy and Foran a “quick embargoed peek” ahead of the full report. Good Riddance: Media’s Donald Trump Panic Pushes Liberals to Emigrate

A growing number of Americans are getting ready to emigrate as former President Donald Trump zig-zags back toward the White House, an American journalist who owns an apartment in central Italy said.

“If Trump is reelected, Americans are planning to flee in droves,” Business Insider author Paul Starobin said as he described the chatter on a Facebook group for U.S emigrants in Italy:

From a woman in Montana who was planning to move to Tuscany: “Yes, it’s true! I bought a hilltop village home … for a song compared to US prices. Don’t want to be in US anymore. It’s expensive and sick of all the political crap and shootings.”

From a woman in Texas: “An insurrection by a narcissist who couldn’t accept election loss combined with his gun and abortion policies made moving more of a necessity than just a dream.”

The author is a veteran journalist, so he is skeptical of his social peers’ doomsday talk:

Every four years, as Americans gird themselves to choose a president, there’s talk, mainly among Democrats, of leaving the country. I’m off for Canada if unacceptable candidate X wins! And every four years, the promised exodus fails to materialize. It’s mostly just therapeutic venting.

Report: Zelensky’s Wife Snubs Biden Invite to State of the Union

The Washington Post reported on Tuesday that Ukrainian first lady Olena Zelenska declined an invitation from the White House to attend President Joe Biden’s State of the Union (SOTU) address.

The alleged snub was somewhat unusual given the prestige of a choice SOTU seat and Ukraine’s fervent desire to remain in the good graces of the United States, the most pivotal supporter of Kyiv’s struggle against the Russian invasion. The White House reportedly offered to seat Zelenska next to U.S. first lady Jill Biden.

According to the Washington Post, Zelenska turned down the invitation because Yulia Navalnaya, widow of Russian dissident leader Alexei Navalny, was also invited to sit with Mrs. Biden during the speech.

The White House wanted the symbolism of Zelenska and Navalnaya sitting together while President Biden spoke, but the Ukrainian government was reportedly uncomfortable with the arrangement because Alexei Navalny was somewhat equivocal about Russia’s annexation of Crimea in 2014.

Navalny, who died at the age of 47 under suspicious circumstances in an Arctic penal colony in February, was an outspoken Russian nationalist early in his political career. He supported Russia’s 2018 invasion of Georgia, for example. (Read more from “Report: Zelensky’s Wife Snubs Biden Invite to State of the Union” HERE)

Mike Johnson Proves Republicans Aren’t Serious About Stopping Democrats’ Border Invasion

“The catastrophe at the [U.S. southern] border is affecting everyone, and it is top of mind for all the American people. … The first priority of the country is our border and making sure it’s secure. … It’s a catastrophe and it must stop.”

Those are the words of House Speaker Mike Johnson days before he and more than 130 House Republicans threw their voters under the bus by helping Democrats pass a massive government spending bill that included zero provisions addressing the Biden-facilitated invasion at the U.S.-Mexico border.

The $460 billion spending package advanced (339-85) by the GOP-controlled House on Wednesday partially funds Democrats’ authoritarian regime for the remainder of Joe Biden’s first term. Clocking in at 1,050 pages, the measure is reportedly stuffed with cronyist earmarks and received more support from Democrats than Republicans.

While $460 billion may not sound like much compared to the multi-trillion-dollar bills Congress normally passes, the deceptively named “minibus” is only one part of the spending binge America’s representatives intend to go on this month. According to Fox News, the six-bill package the House approved only pertains to “departments and agencies whose funding expires on Friday — Agriculture and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA); the Justice and Commerce Departments; Energy and Water Development; the Department of Interior; and Transportation and Housing.”

“Funding tied to Congress’ six remaining bills, which include the Department of Homeland Security and the Pentagon, expires on March 22,” according to the outlet. (Read more from “Mike Johnson Proves Republicans Aren’t Serious About Stopping Democrats’ Border Invasion” HERE)

New Book Admits Fani Willis’ Get-Trump Investigation Began With Illegal Recording

Democrat Fani Willis’ legal troubles extend beyond recent revelations that she deceptively hired her otherwise under-qualified, secret, married lover to run the political prosecution of former President Donald Trump and other Republicans in Georgia. A new book from Mike Isikoff and Daniel Klaidman admits that a widely misunderstood phone call, on which Willis’ political prosecution rests, was illegally recorded. That means the entire prosecution could crumble with defendants having a new avenue to challenge Democrat lawfare.

Find Me the Votes: A Hard-Charging Georgia Prosecutor, a Rogue President, and the Plot to Steal an American Election is a fawning political biography of Willis. For context on the bias of the authors, Isikoff was an original Russia-collusion hoaxer, and his articles to that end were used to secure warrants for the FBI to spy on innocent Republican presidential campaign advisers such as Carter Page.

For years, the media and other Democrats have held up Willis as a brilliant and credible prosecutor of Republicans. The new book suffers from poor timing, with Willis and her lover accused of perjury, subornation of perjury, bribery, and kickbacks related to the prosecution. Willis could be removed from the prosecution as early as this week.

Nevertheless, the book shares interesting details about Willis’ father, John C. Floyd, and his radical past. Described as a “onetime radical activist” who considered the police to be the “enemy” and an “occupying army,” Floyd founded the Black Panther Political Party of Los Angeles and said of it, “Our political philosophy is black nationalism.” He took former Communist Party vice presidential nominee Angela Davis as a lover and lived with her prior to her being placed on the FBI’s Most Wanted list for purchasing the gun used to murder a Marin County, California judge.

Willis, who was raised by her father, worked for Beverly Hills attorney Howard Schmuckler before he was disbarred and also before he was imprisoned for running a fraudulent mortgage rescue company. She worked for another lawyer in Atlanta who was disbarred for tipping off a drug dealer to an impending DEA raid. At that firm, she represented a crack dealer who “turned out to be the male stripper at her bachelorette party” and worked with Keisha Lance Bottoms, a former Atlanta mayor and now a top domestic policy adviser to President Joe Biden. Nikki Haley Exits Presidential Race, No Trump Endorsement

By Fox News. Thirteen months after she launched her 2024 Republican presidential campaign in Charleston, South Carolina, Nikki Haley ended her White House bid.

The former two-term South Carolina governor who later served as U.N. ambassador in former President Donald Trump’s administration on Wednesday morning announced “the time has now come to suspend my campaign.”

“I said I wanted Americans to have their voices heard. I have done it. I have no regrets. And although I will no longer be a candidate, I will not stop using my voice for the things I believe in,” Haley said as she spoke at her presidential campaign headquarters on Daniel Island, in her hometown of Charleston.

But Haley did not immediately endorse Trump, who is on course to clinch the GOP presidential nomination in the next week or two.

“It is now up to Donald Trump to earn the votes of those in our party and beyond it who did not support him. And I hope he does that,” Haley said as she pointed to those who supported her during her White House run. (Read more from “Nikki Haley Exits Presidential Race, No Trump Endorsement” HERE)

South Korea Prepares for Donald Trump Reelection

By Breitbart. The South Korean government on Tuesday appointed a career diplomat named Lee Tae-woo to head up rushed negotiations for the renewal of a defense agreement with the U.S. that will not expire for two years.

Former President Donald Trump has notably called for South Korea to increase its contributions by 500 percent; the South Korean government’s moves to ensure that the agreement will remain as-is far beyond the 2024 American presidential election could be interpreted as a way to prepare for Trump’s potential return to the White House.

The Special Measures Agreement (SMA) covering U.S. contributions to South Korea’s defense has been renewed 11 times since 1991, most recently in April 2021, when a deal lasting until 2025 was sealed.

Under the eleventh SMA, the administration of former President Moon Jae-in agreed to a 13.9-percent increase in the amount paid to keep American troops in South Korea. This marked the first time Seoul’s contribution had increased by more than ten percent in a single round of the SMA and the first time it paid more than a billion dollars.

In the final year of his administration, Trump rejected South Korea’s offer of a 13-percent increase. Trump felt South Korea was taking advantage of American protection, paying a pittance when its huge economy would allow it to handle a much heavier share of the costs. Pro-Life Tragedy: France Embeds Abortion in Constitution, Other Nations Will Follow

In an overwhelming 780-72 vote, the French parliament has just enshrined a “right” to abortion in the nation’s constitution. It is the first country in the world to do so.

Why? Was there a push to outlaw abortion, which has been legal in France since the 1970s? Was there an effort to lower France’s gestational restriction, which had recently expanded abortion from 12 weeks to 16 weeks of pregnancy? No and no. The push to make abortion a constitutional right was a direct response to the United States Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade in 2022.

It could be tempting to write off this development. Abortion wasn’t “threatened” in any way in France. Speaking to Reuters, Association of Catholic Families President Pascale Moriniere put it bluntly: “We imported a debate that is not French,” casting the entire exercise as “an effect of panic from feminist movements.”

The BBC noted that some jurists in France actually believed that abortion was already a constitutional right. If the change to the constitution isn’t actually, well, changing much, is this simply another example of liberal “virtue-signaling”?

It would be a mistake to shrug our shoulders or chuckle that Justice Samuel Alito (who wrote the Dobbs v. Jackson decision overturning Roe) lives rent-free in the heads of liberals across the pond just like he does here at home. Fani Willis Meeting with Kamala Harris Ahead of Trump Indictment Examined by Georgia Senate

A hearing before members of the Georgia Senate on Wednesday brought new details over the effort to disqualify Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis from Donald Trump’s election subversion case, including information about her meeting with Vice President Kamala Harris.

Attorney Ashleigh Merchant, who first raised allegations about Willis’s relationship with a special prosecutor on her team, Nathan Wade, testified before a state Senate hearing about what she has learned about the prosecutors seeking to indict her client, Mike Roman, in the sweeping racketeering case. The hearing panel comprised six Republicans and three Democratic state lawmakers.

Merchant shared publicly available White House records during the hearing that showcased Willis’s meeting with Harris took place on Feb. 28, 2023, just months before a special grand jury handed up an indictment to Willis’s office in August of that year.

During the roughly three-hour hearing, Merchant noted that the Mayor of Atlanta, Andre Dickens, was present for the meeting at the White House.

“My understanding is that it’s highly regulated who can access the White House … so you have to apply ahead of time,” Merchant said, adding the White House records showing the meeting are open to the public. Biden and Harris Have ‘Big Problem’ Against Trump, Tulsi Gabbard Says

Former Democratic Rep. Tulsi Gabbard warned that Super Tuesday illustrated that the Biden-Harris ticket is facing a tough rematch against former President Donald Trump in November.

Gabbard, who herself ran against Biden in 2020 before endorsing him, has since left the Democratic Party and repeatedly denounced the president. She said in an appearance on Fox and Friends that the public has considerably soured on the president’s record, warning that at the current rate, President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris risk defeat in the general election.

“They’ve got a pretty big problem because more and more Americans are recognizing what a failure the Biden-Harris administration’s policies are for the American people,” Gabbard said.

“This is not something that’s limited to Republicans, but there are independents and Democrats who are very frustrated with the most basic things. … There are folks across the country who are … recognizing that this administration has stood for an open border policy that’s made our communities less safe and causing incredible pressure on our country with millions of people illegally entering our country,” she continued.

She pointed to some of the results from Super Tuesday as proving her point — though Biden won every contest by a considerable margin, some worrying signs still appeared in the results. (Read more from “Biden and Harris Have ‘Big Problem’ Against Trump, Tulsi Gabbard Says” HERE)
