We’re Libertarians Who Refuse To Vote For The Party’s Ridiculous Presidential Candidate

I’m a libertarian, but I’m totally turned off by the party. And I’m not alone, especially now that Chase Oliver is its 2024 candidate.

Although libertarian ideology has mass appeal, the party has consistently alienated voters with outlandish antics and out-of-touch nominees, and this election cycle is no exception.

Since Oliver won the Libertarian primary late last month, the former Georgia Senate candidate has been going viral for some of his more lefty stances.

In resurfaced clips, the 38-year-old has been dragged for publicly advocating for defunding the police “until [they] restore trust with the people,” describing drag queen story hours as “performance art,” advocating for open borders and defending gender-affirming care for transgender kids as “the status quo.”

The fundamental libertarian principle is “live and let live,” and there are certainly libertarians who embrace that ethos on both the political right and the left.

Donald Trump Found Guilty of Running for President

Donald Trump, as you have certainly heard by now, has been convicted.

The verdict is in. Guilty — guilty on all 34 felony counts of running for re-election.

That, after all, is the actual crime that Trump committed. It’s the one and only reason that this case was ever brought. They prosecuted him for trying to be president again. That’s the actual reality. That’s the real crime — which isn’t a crime. But, you might still be wondering, on paper, what crime was Trump just convicted of? Somehow, a day after the guilty verdict was read, the actual crime he was guilty of is still very hard to say.

One possible theory is that the government of New York really doesn’t like it when people overpay their taxes. They’re the first government in the history of the universe that actively punishes its citizens for handing over too much cash. It drives Alvin Bragg absolutely crazy whenever this happens. If New Yorkers pay the government too much cash in April, then the full weight of New York’s criminal justice system will come crashing down on them. A jury will convict them in a day, and they’ll face several years in prison. This is how desperately New York doesn’t want money from its citizens.

That’s what you have to believe if, for some reason, you’re still pretending that there was any legitimacy to the show trial of Donald Trump that concluded yesterday in Manhattan. An Appeal to Heaven Under Attack

The Appeal to Heaven, also known as the Pine Tree Flag, is a historical banner that has long represented the fight for freedom. Recently this iconic flag has come under attack by those who seek to suppress the values it embodies.

The Appeal to Heaven Flag dates back to the early days of the American Revolution, when the colonies were seeking to break free from British rule. The flag features a green pine tree with the phrase “An Appeal to Heaven” emblazoned on a white banner beneath it. This design was inspired by the words of John Locke, a prominent philosopher and political theorist whose ideas greatly influenced the founding principles of the United States.

The recent attack on the Appeal to Heaven Flag, which was flown outside the Virginia home of Supreme Court Justice Samuel A. Alito Jr., is a clear indication that our enemies recognize the power and significance of this symbol. However, their attempts to discredit and suppress it will only strengthen our resolve to continue flying it proudly.

The credibility of the democratic process has recently been called into question as allegations of election rigging and voter suppression have become increasingly common. This has left many feeling disillusioned and powerless, as their voices seemingly go unheard and their votes rendered meaningless.

The feeling of hopelessness is further exacerbated by the obvious control exerted by malevolent forces over our society. These forces, which can be described as demonic in nature, are characterized by their hatred for traditional values and their relentless pursuit of power and control.

In such a climate, it is easy to feel overwhelmed and powerless. However, the Appeal to Heaven Flag serves as a powerful symbol of hope and resistance.

The concept of appealing to heaven is deeply rooted in the Christian faith and has been a guiding principle for countless believers throughout history. The Appeal to Heaven Flag embodies this principle. By flying the Appeal to Heaven Flag, we acknowledge that our struggle is not merely a political one, but a spiritual one as well. We recognize that the forces we are up against are not merely human, but demonic in nature. This is not to say that we should abandon our efforts to effect change in the political realm. Rather, it is a call to recognize the spiritual dimension of our struggle and to seek divine guidance and protection in our endeavors.

In times of darkness and despair, it is faith that can provide the strength and resilience needed to persevere. The Appeal to Heaven Flag serves as a powerful symbol of this faith, reminding us that we are not alone in our struggle and that our ultimate salvation lies in the hands of God.

By embracing the Appeal to Heaven Flag, we acknowledge the spiritual dimension of our struggle and commit ourselves to seeking divine guidance and protection in our endeavors. This Memorial Day Remember the Ongoing Sacrifices of Our Military and Their Families

Like many Americans, my Memorial Day weekend begins at the airport.

Out of the corner of my eye, I can see faces and cell phones pressed to the nearby airplane’s oval windows. A small crowd is also gathered above us in the terminal, looking on. My team of seven sailors, dressed in our summer whites, is waiting on the tarmac of Birmingham’s airport to receive the last remains of our shipmate.

We will carry him to the waiting hearse with all the dignity and precision that we can muster as an honor guard for the U.S. Navy.

In today’s America, the stillness and formality of this moment feels very much out of place with our casual and irreverent culture. I’m proud of my team, but I’m also heartened that busy travelers pause, take off their hats, and silently pay tribute to this sailor coming home.

As an officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve, I have buried 173 fellow service members. Some have died young, like Joshua Kaleb Watson, an ensign just out of Annapolis, shot by an Islamic terrorist in Pensacola. Others have been old men, like Hormer Kapula, a World War II vet who died at 101 years old. Why Are We Consuming Engine Lubricant?

In today’s world, where lies spread by our enemies are rampant and the mainstream media often fails to provide accurate information, I have found solace in the esoteric health wisdom of the dissident internet. Like many of you the scamdemic has only reinforced my belief that the mainstream medical establishment is largely not to be trusted and I have found that seeking alternative sources of information has led me to make some of the best decisions for my health. One such decision was to remove industrial seed oils from my diet, and the results have been nothing short of transformative. With this simple move I’ve dropped 30 pounds, removed all the inflammation in my body, and feel better and stronger than ever.

To understand why seed oils are bad for you, it is essential to first understand their history. Seed oils, such as soybean, canola, and corn oil, were first introduced in the early 20th century as a response to the growing demand for cheap, mass-produced vegetable oils. These oils were initially used in margarine production as a substitute for animal fats, which were more expensive and harder to produce. However, the process of extracting these oils is far from natural. Seed oils are derived from seeds that are not naturally oily, such as soybeans, corn, and cottonseeds. To extract the oil from these seeds, they must first be treated with harsh chemicals, such as hexane, a neurotoxin that is also used in the production of glue and paint thinner. The seeds are then subjected to high temperatures and pressure, which further degrades the quality of the oil.

The Origins of Canola Oil

Canola oil, one of the most common types of industrial seed oils, has a long and storied history that is often overlooked by those who consume it. Originally developed in Canada during the 1970s, canola oil was derived from the rapeseed plant, which had long been used as a source of oil for various industrial purposes.

One of the most notable uses of rapeseed oil was as a lubricant for diesel engines. The oil was prized for its ability to withstand high temperatures and its low freezing point, making it an ideal lubricant for engines operating in harsh environments.

Despite its origins as an industrial lubricant, canola oil was eventually transformed into a food product through a series of genetic modifications and chemical processes. Through selective breeding, scientists were able to create a new strain of rapeseed with lower levels of erucic acid, a toxic compound that made the oil unsuitable for human consumption. Once the new strain of rapeseed was developed, the oil was subjected to a series of chemical processes, including degumming, bleaching, and deodorizing, in order to remove any remaining impurities and make it more palatable for human consumption. Inspect the packaging of the foods you are consuming and you’ll find that this Frankenstein engine lubricant is in just about everything you eat.

Why Seed Oils Are Bad for You

The consequences of consuming these highly processed, chemically extracted oils are numerous. One of the most significant issues with seed oils is their high concentration of omega-6 fatty acids. While omega-6s are essential for our health, the Western diet is already heavily skewed in favor of these fatty acids, with a ratio of around 20:1 of omega-6 to omega-3 fatty acids. This imbalance can lead to chronic inflammation, which is at the root of many modern health issues, including heart disease, diabetes, and autoimmune disorders.

In addition to their high omega-6 content, seed oils are also highly unstable and prone to oxidation. When exposed to heat, light, or air, these oils can break down into toxic compounds, such as free radicals and lipid peroxides, which can damage cells and contribute to the development of cancer and other diseases. Furthermore, seed oils have been linked to a host of other health problems, including obesity, insulin resistance, and impaired brain function. These oils can also interfere with the absorption of essential nutrients, such as vitamins A, D, E, and K, which are crucial for maintaining optimal health.

What to Replace Seed Oils With

If seed oils are so detrimental to our health, what should we be using instead? The answer is simple: natural, unprocessed fats. Fats that have been used by humans for thousands of years, such as olive oil, coconut oil, avocado oil, and animal fats like butter and lard, are far superior to the industrial seed oils that have become ubiquitous in the modern diet. These traditional fats are rich in nutrients, such as vitamins A, D, E, and K, and are less prone to oxidation, making them a much healthier option for cooking and consumption. Additionally, these fats are often rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which can help to counterbalance the excess of omega-6s in the Western diet and promote overall health and well-being.

Removing industrial seed oils from my diet has been hands down the best thing I have ever done for my health. The journey to discovering the truth about these oils has been a long and winding one, but the results have been more than worth it. By seeking out alternative sources of information and trusting in the wisdom of the dissident internet, I have been able to take control of my health and make informed decisions about the foods I consume.

It is no secret that our enemies want us weak, sick, and distracted. They know that a strong, healthy, and mentally sharp population is much harder to control and manipulate. The promotion of seed oils as a “healthy alternative” to traditional fats is just one example of the many ways in which our enemies are actively working to undermine our health and well-being. By filling our diets with these harmful oils, they are able to keep us in a state of chronic inflammation, which weakens our immune systems, impairs our cognitive function, and makes us more susceptible to a wide range of diseases and health issues.

The ultimate goal of our enemies is the destruction of our nations and the replacement of our people with those who are more easily controlled and manipulated. By keeping us sick, weak, and distracted, they are able to accelerate this process and ensure that we are unable to resist their plans.

The promotion of unhealthy foods, such as seed oils, is just one aspect of this larger strategy. By keeping us in a state of poor health, they are able to make it easier for them to bring in millions of foreign migrants who will replace us in our own countries. They know that a sick, weak, and distracted population is less likely to stand up and fight against this invasion, making it easier for them to carry out their plans.

The Importance of Taking Control of Our Health

In order to resist the plans of our enemies and protect our nations, it is essential that we take control of our health and well-being. By removing harmful substances, such as seed oils, from our diets and replacing them with natural, unprocessed fats, we can strengthen our bodies and minds, making it more difficult for our enemies to control and manipulate us.

It is crucial that we become aware of the ways in which our enemies are actively working to undermine our health and well-being and take action to counteract their efforts. By educating ourselves about the dangers of seed oils and other harmful substances, we can make informed decisions about the foods we consume and take control of our health and well-being—and eventually take back our homelands for the glory of God.

In Focus – Lawfare Against Lawyers

It was not until 1935 that the U.S. Supreme Court was provided its own building, located immediately behind the U.S. Capitol. Prominently inscribed over the entrance to the Supreme Court is high-sounding phrase “Equal Justice Under Law.” Elsewhere is inscribed the legend “Justice the Guardian of Liberty.” Although there are some circumstances in which individuals may represent themselves in court, such as in a small claims court and as criminal defendants, in most cases, even the chance to obtain “equal justice” is dependent on the availability of a licensed attorney. That right to counsel is now under attack.

Attorney Availability

The American Bar Association reports that there were over 1,331,290 active lawyers in the United States as of the beginning of last year. That may sound like an enormous number of lawyers from which conservative clients could choose to handle a case, but that would be wrong. Good data on the number of lawyers in private practice is hard to come by, and then you need to subtract lawyers who do not litigate, those who have never handled a significant policy related case, and those too busy to take on a major new case. As the American Bar Association forces law schools to become more diverse and woke in their admissions and curricula, those schools are churning out a stream of young Leftist lawyers who seek to fundamentally transform America, and share none of the traditional ethics of the profession, including the right to counsel.

Beyond those constraints, litigation surrounding mandatory COVID jabs has shown that there are few lawyers willing to represent individuals who would rebel against what the government claimed was “settled science.” Many lawyers were told by their firms that they could not take those cases. The same happened again when the establishment press repeatedly lied and told us the 2020 election was the most honest election ever, many of those lawyers who wanted to challenge the results were forced to leave their firms. Law firms of any size do not want to offend their government, big business, or Leftist establishment clients.

So, the truth is that there are a small number of lawyers in each state who are available to represent conservatives to oppose the government in controversial cases. This shortage of legal talent is bad enough, but Leftists have decided to make the problem worse. There is no known precedent for a political faction in America seeking to win cases by depriving their political opponents of competent legal counsel. But that is now a dominant strategy of Leftists. It can include public shaming, hit pieces by Leftist websites and the establishment press, bar complaints seeking to suspend or disbar lawyers, and motions for large financial sanctions when conservative lawyers lose cases.

Project 65

A shadowy dark-money group called Project 65, connected to former Clinton strategist David Brock, announced plans in March 2022 to “spend millions of dollars to target 111 lawyers from 26 states, looking into attorneys from large national firms and some within smaller firms” who supported efforts by Trump and Republicans to challenge 2020 election irregularities. The goal, Brock says, is to “shame them and make them toxic in their communities and in their firms.” The group has filed scores of ethics complaints against former Trump attorneys, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, Alan Dershowitz, and numerous Republican state attorneys general.

“I think the littler fish are probably more vulnerable to what we’re doing,” said Brock. “You’re threatening their livelihood. And, you know, they’ve got reputations in their local communities.” The Left makes no secret of its intent to deprive conservative candidates of legal representation by intimidation and forcing conservative attorneys out of business. “It’s worked quite well,” Project 65 bragged on Twitter, “since few election attorneys now dare to represent Kari Lake and other conservative candidates who lost their races.” In this ignoble cause, Project 65 is joined by the so-called States United Democracy Center, yet another well-funded Leftist group.

John Eastman

Possibly, the most intense attack on any lawyer was brought against the nation’s premier conservative constitutional lawyer, John Eastman. Project 65 has helped convince the California Supreme Court to take steps to disbar Eastman. As two of Eastman’s children wrote for The Blaze, “a bar court judge who has continued to make donations to Democrat politicians even after taking the bench has recommended the disbarment of Eastman.” The partisan Democrat judge faulted Eastman for, among other things, signing a motion to intervene for President Trump in Texas v. Pennsylvania, a case in which Justices Alito, Thomas, and Gorsuch stated that “‘there is a strong likelihood that [Pennsylvania] violate[d] the Federal Constitution,’ just as Texas and Eastman said.” The Judge wants to ensure Eastman cannot defend Trump or other conservatives in the future or even afford his own legal defense.

As former federal prosecutor T.J. Harker writes, the judge “had to make these findings to justify taking Eastman’s law license. So, she did. The outcome was predetermined.” Shortly before Biden’s inauguration, “more than one hundred Chapman University faculty mounted a pressure campaign to terminate John Eastman from his position as tenured professor and Dean of Chapman University Law School, his competent stewardship notwithstanding.” The school caved to the Left, and Eastman lost his job.

Eastman’s children, Benjamin Eastman and Christina Wheatland, have urged conservatives to fight fire with fire:

There is no shortage of options to pursue an offensive or defensive lawfare strategy. Pick one and get into the fight. File bar complaints against rogue prosecutors. Refer corrupt judges to state judicial qualifications commissions. Campaign for the impeachment of partisan judges. Become involved with bar associations to ensure a more evenly balanced disciplinary process. Provide counsel or legal defense funds to lawyers weathering this storm on your behalf — because Eastman won’t be the last.

The Georgia Indictments

Criminal charges were brought against 19 Trump supporters, including eight pro-Trump attorneys in deep-blue Atlanta, Georgia. Three of these lawyers, facing hostile juries, entered guilty pleas to avoid the risk of harsher sentencing later. However, guilty pleas tell us little about whether a person is guilty. As District Judge Jed S. Rakoff explains, only 3 percent of federal cases ever go to trial. Federal prosecutors throw every charge in the book against defendants, and where a jury is politically hostile, the risk of going to trial and potentially being sentenced to years in federal prison is simply too significant for many defendants to risk.

The Arizona Indictments

Within the last week, the full scope of the massive effort to criminalize challenges to election results was revealed by Leftist Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes. Criminal charges were brought against 18 Trump supporters in a case called Arizona v. Ward. Those indicted include the 10 Republican Electors, the former State Party Chairman, five pro-Trump lawyers, one campaign worker, and, for good measure, former Trump Chief of Staff Mark Meadows.

The five lawyers charged included Rudy Giuliani, who was served at his 80th birthday party in Florida. On May 18, 2024, John Eastman was arrested in Phoenix even though he had literally no communication with the would-be alternative electors in Arizona. “These charges should’ve never been brought. I pled not guilty. I had zero communications with the electors in Arizona. Zero involvement in any of the election litigation in Arizona or legislative hearings. I’m confident that if the law is faithfully applied I will be fully exonerated at the end of this process,” Eastman said.

As conservative writer and radio personality Mark Steyn notes, “there is so little equality before the law in America that a central tenet of that equality — the right to a lawyer — is utterly dead. If you make the mistake of representing Trump, you’ll be disbarred and/or criminally charged.” He adds, “This is the criminalization of opposition — a core definition of unfree societies….” And by targeting conservative lawyers’ livelihood, they hope to create a battle where one side is not even allowed to fight back.

Spineless Christian Leaders Pave the Way to American Babylon

Last week, we heard loud and clear who the Spirit of the Age believes its enemies are.

Thanks to Joe Biden’s Department of Justice, we learned ministering to young women seeking to kill their children would be viewed as a high crime, when pro-life activist Lauren Handy was sentenced to nearly five years in prison after she and others blockaded a Washington, D.C., late-term baby-murder facility in 2020.

Then we watched tens of thousands of people sign a petition to have Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker fired for saying Catholic things at the Catholic commencement ceremony for the Catholic Benedictine College in Kansas, followed by a letter of disavowal from the NFL itself.

Butker clearly would have been better off visiting massage parlors like the Cleveland Browns DeShaun Watson or New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft. Or maybe flee the scene of an accident he caused while driving erratically like his teammate Rashee Rice. Or assaulting his pregnant baby mama like Buffalo Bills linebacker Von Miller. Or being charged with assault via strangulation like Tennessee Titans’ running back Hasan Haskins.

Because there are no petitions to be seen there. That only happens when you uphold the dignity of life, marriage, family, and men and women like Butker did. Yes, the NFL will support the thug life over the good, the true, and the beautiful any day of the week now and twice on Sundays. Leaked: New Woke Curriculum at West Point

We’ll soon see whether they’re really going to teach this bullshit at the US Military Academy.

One leaked course description: “Uniformed Perspectives: The Evolution of Cross-Dressing in the Military and Gender Norms”.¹

Another: “Deconstructing Patriotism: Exploring Postmodernism and US Army Recruitment Amidst the Lack of a National Narrative”.²

In other words, the Army is now engaged in a philosophy of self-defeat and self-destruction. All in. No holds barred.

If the overall LGBT PRIDE movement in America is any indicator, the US Army will play host to, “You gave us an inch, we’re going to take a mile.”

WOKE will spread like wildfire in the Armed Forces.

Military hospitals will be a doing a land-office business in castrations.

I see this as predators on the march, and a cultural exhaustion after the deliberate wipe-out of individual power, can-do ambition, and the sky’s the limit.

Replaced by: “Come on, admit it, haven’t you always wanted to wear a dress?”

Pumped up from its small deviant origins, into a new giant synthetic balloon, by DEI/government leaders.

A young person who, a hundred years ago, would have dreamed about starting a business, now dreams of gender-reassignment surgery.

And what better way of getting it than by enlisting in the Army?

When I Went to the Doctor for Kidney Stones, She Cared More About Pronouns Than Patient Care

When I woke one recent morning to severe pain from a bout of kidney stones, I knew I had an excruciating day ahead of me. I didn’t realize how excruciating until I arrived at George Washington University Hospital’s emergency room where one of the ER’s resident physicians greeted me wearing a pin: “Ask Me About My Pronouns.” The remainder of my morning became a real-life demonstration of how woke physicians prioritize ideology over patient care.

The bloodwork taken upon my arrival showed a high white blood cell count, and during my stay, I complained of pain in both my kidneys. A CT scan taken in the emergency room likewise showed stranding (i.e., scarring) in both kidneys.

The next day, my primary care practitioner grew concerned that a kidney stone had caused an infection that had spread through my urinary tract. She asked me whether I had received intravenous antibiotics in the ER as a precautionary measure; I had not.

For all her outward concern about pronouns, the George Washington resident did not act concerned about a possible infection. She (they?) did not order a urine culture to check for infections, nor send the stone I passed while in the ER for laboratory analysis. She and her supervising physician also questioned the need for a CT scan, which had been standard practice during prior bouts of kidney stones, claiming that a scan would only be needed if I had a blockage or infection — an odd claim, given that I had yet to provide a urine specimen for analysis. Daily Wire Liars? As Ben Shapiro Publicly Negotiated a Debate with Candace Owens, He Obtained an Order Gagging Her

On April 5, Candace Owens publicly invited her former Daily Wire colleague Ben Shapiro to a debate about “Israel and the current definition of antisemitism.” It was Owens’ criticisms of U.S. financing of Israel, and her criticisms of Israel’s war in Gaza, that caused her departure from the Daily Wire two weeks earlier.

Both Shapiro and Daily Wire CEO Jeremy Boreing responded by saying they would like to arrange the debate requested by Owens. That night, Shapiro appeared to accept her offer, writing on X: “Sure, Candace. I texted you on February 29th offering this very thing.” The Daily Wire co-founder added: “Let’s do it on my show this Monday at 5pm at our studios in Nashville; 90 minutes, live-streamed.”

After Owens objected to the format and timing, she and Boreing exchanged several tweets in which they appeared to be negotiating, and then agreeing to, the terms and format for the debate. Owens had suggested the debate be moderated by Joe Rogan or Lex Fridman. Shaprio said he wanted no moderator. They ultimately agreed to the terms, with Boreing offering a series of conditions, including a no-moderator debate, and with Owens publicly accepting.

Two weeks later, many readers of both Shapiro and Owens noticed, and complained, that the debate had not yet happened. On April 24, Owens addressed those inquiries by explaining that the Daily Wire had yet to propose dates, while reiterating her strong desire to ensure the debate happened.

But the debate was never going to happen. That is because the Daily Wire — in secret and unbeknownst to its readers — sought a gag order to be placed on Owens after she had called for a debate. They did this under the cover of secrecy, before a private arbitrator, at exactly the same time that they were claiming in public that they wanted this debate and were even negotiating the terms with her. To this date, the Daily Wire has not informed its readers, seeking to understand why the much-anticipated debate had not yet happened, that they had sought and obtained a gag order against Owens.
