Gay Buttigieg: Supporting Trump ‘Is Supporting Racism’; Beto’s Website: ‘The President of the United States of America Is a White Supremacist’

By Breitbart. . .Univision Anchor Jorge Ramos asked, “Eight out of 10 Latinos in Texas fear another mass shooting targeted them. This is according to a new Univision pool. President Trump has called Mexican immigrants rapists and killers, tried to ban Muslims from entering this country, separated children from their parents. He supporters have chanted ‘build a wall’ and ‘send her back.’ Do you think people who support President Trump and his immigration policies are racist?

Buttigieg said, “Anyone who supports this is supporting racism.” (Read more from “Gay Buttigieg: Supporting Trump ‘Is Supporting Racism’” HERE)

Beto’s Website: ‘The President of the United States of America Is a White Supremacist’

By The Blaze. Struggling Democratic presidential candidate and former Texas congressman Beto O’Rourke is getting desperate in his quest to appeal to the far-left base, even declaring on his campaign website Thursday night: “The president of the United States of America is a white supremacist.” . . .

O’Rourke is seeking to breathe life into his campaign amid consistently weak polling performances, and apparently used the occasion of the third Democratic presidential primary debate to go for broke. . .

But as the debate wore on, pundits on the Twittersphere discovered that O’Rourke’s campaign website had also been updated for debate night.

“Here’s proof,” the site says, citing dozens of “examples.” The first was reportedly pulled from the El Paso Times, and reads, “Trump falsely claimed that El Paso, one of America’s safest cities, had ‘extremely high rates of violent crime’ before fences were built.”

Another example quoted USA Today as reporting that “Trump launched his campaign calling immigrants ‘rapists’ and criminals.” A third excerpt was from CNN, and read, “Trump said there is an ‘infestation’ of gangs in our country.” (Read more from “Beto’s Website: ‘The President of the United States of America Is a White Supremacist'” HERE)

Andrew Yang Does What No Other Presidential Candidate Has Ever Done at Democratic Debate — but It Could Be Illegal

Presidential candidate Andrew Yang promised to do what no other candidate has ever done at the third Democratic debate, and he revealed his legally-suspect strategy in his opening statement.

The entrepreneur announced that he would give $1,000 a month to ten randomly selected families that signed up at his website. . .

“In America today everything revolves around the almighty dollar,” he began.

“It’s time to stop trusting politicians and start trusting ourselves – so I’m going to do something unprecedented tonight,” he continued.

“My campaign will now give a freedom dividend of $1,000 a month for an entire year to 10 American families,” he announced. (Read more from “Andrew Yang Does What No Other Presidential Candidate Has Ever Done at Democratic Debate — but It Could Be Illegal” HERE)

Joe Biden Attacked During Debate over Memory Problems; Democrat Debate Highlights: Biden at Center Stage and Focus of Attacks

By Daily Wire. During Thursday night’s Democratic presidential primary debate in Houston, former U.S. Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julian Castro attacked former Vice President Joe Biden over his health care plan, saying that it would leave many Americans uninsured.

“The difference between what I support and what you support, Vice President Biden, is that you require them to opt in, and I would not require them to opt in. They would automatically be enrolled, they wouldn’t have to buy in,” Castro said to Biden.

“You do not have to buy in,” Biden responds.

“Are you forgetting what you said two minutes ago,” continues Castro. “Are you forgetting already what you said just two minutes ago? I can’t believe that you said two minutes ago that they had to buy in, and now you’re saying they don’t have to — you’re forgetting that.”

Immediately after the exchange, the internet reacted with a mixture of humor and shock. Trevor Noah, the host of The Daily Show, tweeted a clip of the exchange with the caption, “Achievement Unlocked: Elder Abuse.”

Democrat Debate Highlights: Biden at Center Stage and Focus of Attacks

By Politico. Joe Biden and Elizabeth Warren shared a debate stage for the first time Thursday. But it was former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julián Castro who went hardest after the ex-vice president and Democratic front-runner. . .

Joe Biden spent the first two debates of the Democratic presidential primary as the front-runner waiting to get attacked onstage.

On Thursday, Biden decided to go on the attack and take on the two primary rivals threatening his first place status — Sens. Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders — over health care, prompting a lengthy debate that pitted the more moderate candidates against the more progressive ones.

“I think we should have a debate on health care. I think — I know that the senator says she’s for Bernie, well, I’m for Barack. I think the Obamacare worked,” Biden said, not so subtly pointing out he was the vice president of the last Democratic president. 2020 Candidate Breaks Away from Dems, Says She Actually Supports Some Restrictions on Abortion

Democratic presidential hopeful Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (Hawaii) broke with other members of her party when she revealed that she believed that abortion should be limited, with exceptions, to before the start of a pregnancy’s third trimester. She also criticized her fellow Democrats for supporting open borders policies.

During an interview Monday, libertarian host Dave Rubin asked Gabbard to clarify her position on abortion. Rubin noted that Gabbard used to be pro-life and admitted that he was becoming more pro-life due to the recently radical abortion policies espoused by members of the Democratic Party.

Gabbard said that her own position had changed along with her “understanding of the role of government.” She said she took “a more libertarian position on this issue: that government really shouldn’t be in that place of dictating to a woman the choice that she should make.”

“I think that there should be some restrictions, though,” she continued. “You know, for me personally, I would not make that choice for myself, but I don’t believe that I should be telling anyone else the kinds of decisions that they should make for themselves or for their family. And, therefore, a woman should have a right to choose. And I will stand up and protect her right to do so.”

She also said that she believed that abortion should be restricted at “the third trimester, unless a woman’s life or severe consequences is at risk, then there shouldn’t be an abortion in the third trimester.” (Read more from “2020 Candidate Breaks Away from Dems, Says She Actually Supports Some Restrictions on Abortion” HERE)

After Beto’s Vulgar Rant, DNC Warns Candidates Not to Swear

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) sent a letter to qualifying campaigns ahead of its third presidential primary debate, warning the Democratic presidential candidates not to use vulgar language while on the debate stage.

“We wanted to take this opportunity to remind you that, as the debate will air on the ABC broadcast network, we are governed by Federal Communication Commission indecency rules,” the DNC wrote in a letter obtained by Axios. “We will not be broadcasting on any delay, so there will be no opportunity to edit out foul language. Candidates should therefore avoid cursing or expletives in accordance with federal law and FCC guidelines.”

The letter comes as former Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D-TX) has been receiving attention for the uptick in curse words that he has been espousing while on the campaign trail.

The failed Texas U.S. Senate candidate first made headlines with his vulgar language while conceding the statewide race to Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) as part of the 2018 midterm election cycle.

“All of you showing the country how you do this — I am so f***ing proud of you guys,” O’Rourke told the crowd in November. While he received wild cheers at the time, he later swore that he would no longer curse after announcing his bid for the presidency.

Trump’s Primary Challengers Hit Another Roadblock

I know it may not seem like it, but President Trump is facing primary challenges. It’s ridiculous. They’re not going to be successful. But hey, it’s a free country, and if former GOP Gov. Bill Weld, who ran on the Libertarian ticket last year and pretty much encouraged people to vote for Hillary, and Rep. Joe Walsh want to be the dunce cap crew this cycle—then let them. Trump has aptly called these people the “three stooges.” They’re not going to win. President Trump has solid approval ratings among Republican Party members. We have a nominee. We don’t need to waste time depleting money and more importantly, time, on this silly contest. This isn’t Carter in 1980. Let’s get a grip.

And these three are no-names. There’s no money, no exposure, no national constituency with these three would-be challengers. Joe Walsh, Weld, and Sanford cannot win a national election. We already have the war chest filled, the infrastructure set, and the base juiced to re-elect Donald Trump; enough of this circus. The party isn’t stupid. They know this is ridiculous. There is a GOP consensus candidate on who should be the nominee in 2020, and that person is President Donald J. Trump. Arizona recently joined states that are nixing their primary contests because…well, they’re not necessary this year. And this isn’t unprecedented either. Democrats have done it before as well (via The Hill):

The Arizona Republican Party officially canceled its 2020 presidential primary contest on Monday, joining several other state Republican parties.

State Republican Party Chairwoman Kelli Ward confirmed the party’s decision in a letter to Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs obtained by The Hill.

. . .

South Carolina, Nevada, and Kansas are also expected to drop their primary contests as well[.] (Read more from “Trump’s Primary Challengers Hit Another Roadblock” HERE)

Loser Hillary Is Taking an Active Role with a 2020 Dem’s Campaign

Clinton is reportedly advising Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), one of the top contenders for the Democratic nomination. The two women have remained in steady contact since Warren launched her campaign in February, NBC News reported.

However, according to NBC, it’s not clear how often the two communicate because both sides do not want to discuss the communication. . .

It’s hard to know exactly how many times they’ve reached out to each other — or precisely what they’ve discussed — in part because neither camp wants to reveal much of anything about their interaction and in part because they have each other’s phone numbers, and there are many ways for two high-powered politicians to communicate that don’t involve their staffs.

One source was aware of just one additional call between Warren and Clinton since then. But a person who is close to Clinton said the contact has been substantial enough to merit attention, describing a conversation between the two as seemingly recent because it was “front of mind” for her.

. . .

There’s no doubt that securing Clinton’s exclusive support would provide a boon for Warren, a far-left progressive who may have trouble earning the trust of moderate Democrats — the exact people who supported Clinton. Poll That Predicted Trump Win in 2016: Warren Catching up to Biden, but That Could Be Bad News for Democrats

A new poll by Investor’s Business Daily found that Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) has pulled to within striking distance of front-runner Joe Biden, movement that follows the former vice president’s repeated gaffs and comes amid glowing coverage of Warren by major media outlets. While Warren’s momentum is good news for the progressive Massachusetts senator, the new survey from IBD/TIPP — which has been one of the most accurate pollsters in the last four elections, and the only major poll to give Trump the win in 2016 — might not be good news for Democrats.

When the final polls came in for the 2016 election, only one of the eleven major national polls that played into RealClearPolitics’ average gave Trump the advantage: IBD/TIPP showed Trump winning by 2%. While Trump, in fact, lost the popular vote, a Washington Post analysis found IBD to be the second-most accurate of the pollsters in 2016 (McClatchy/Marist got its prediction the closest). IBD/TIPP was also the most accurate in the previous three elections. That is to say, Investor’s Business Daily’s poll results are worth taking a close look at.

IBD’s newest survey of the Democratic primary candidates and their potential head-to-head matchups against Trump provides some notable results. First, Warren is increasingly poised to dethrone Biden.

The poll found that Warren has surged by 7% since August, now winning the support of 24% of registered Democrats and independents who lean Democratic (up from 17%). . .

The other Democratic candidates find themselves far behind both Biden and Warren. The next closest presidential would-be is democratic socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), who pulled in just 12% (where he’s been since August), followed by Sen. Kamala Harris, who plummeted from 11% in August to just 6% in the new survey. In fifth is South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg at 5%, while Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) has just 4% support. The rest of the candidates, including Beto O’Rourke, failed to manage more than 1%. Mayor Pete Uses the Bible to Redefine When Life Begins and Now His Family Wants Him to Repent

South Bend, Indiana Mayor turned 2020 presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg used the Bible to explain why he believes life doesn’t begin until a baby takes his or her first breath.

“Right now they hold everyone in line to this kind of piece of doctrine about abortion, which is obviously a tough issue for a lot of people to think through. Then again, you know, there’s a lot of parts of the Bible which talk about how life begins with breath,” Buttiegeg explained during an interview with The Breakfast Club. “And even so, that’s something that we can interpret differently.” . . .

Now, Buttigieg’s brother-in-law, Pastor Rhyan Glezman, wants the presidential candidate to repent.

“I feel a sense of responsibility and stewardship of my faith to stand up and say something, to say, ‘No, that’s not true,'” Glezman told the Washington Examiner. “God places a very high value on all human life. Everyone is created fearfully and wonderfully in the image of God with intrinsic value. That doesn’t start at the first breath, it starts when we enter our mother’s womb.” . . .

“If we’re going to say we’re for all people and we love all people, but we don’t value human life in the womb, that’s being a hypocrite. You’re hypocritical if you don’t stand up for all life. So that’s why I’m speaking out,” Glezman explained. “This isn’t a little issue, especially when we’re talking about life. This is not just a political conversation. We’re talking about human life. These are human beings.” (Read more from “Mayor Pete Uses the Bible to Redefine When Life Begins and Now His Family Wants Him to Repent” HERE)

DNC Compiled Massive Pile Of Opposition Research On Trump Ahead Of 2020 Election

By Townhall. The Democratic National Committee has compiled a massive amount of opposition research into President Donald Trump, Axios reported. The Democrats reportedly dug through 7,000 lawsuits from all 50 states to pinpoint Trump’s vulnerabilities.

According to Axios, the DNC also put together a comprehensive document of each time Trump said Mexico would pay to build a wall along the United States-Mexico border during the 2016 presidential campaign. The DNC is expected to drop relevant information with local reporters, groups and Democrats in key battleground states, an anonymous source familiar with the document said.

One of their other key tactics will be focusing on anecdotal stories in states like Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan, Arizona, Colorado, Florida and Texas. They want to find residents who feel Trump’s policies have negatively impacted them. Specifically, Democrats plan to focus on farmers and truckers and how tariffs have hurt them. Trump Family ‘Dynasty’ Will ‘Last for Decades,’ 2020 Campaign Chief Says

By Fox News. President Trump and his family represent a political movement with the potential of transforming the Republican Party, according to Brad Parscale, manager of the president’s 2020 reelection campaign.

“I just think they’re a dynasty,” Parscale told reporters after delivering a speech Saturday at the fall convention of the California Republican Party.

“I think they’re all amazing people … with amazing capabilities,” he said, according to the Associated Press. “I think you see that from Don Jr. I think you see that from Ivanka. You see it from Jared. You see it from all.”

Parscale was speaking at the end of a week that saw Ivanka Trump embark on a trip to Argentina, Colombia and Paraguay to promote the Women’s Global Development and Prosperity Initiative; saw Republican political strategist Rick Wilson predict in a Daily Beast column that Donald Trump Jr. will seek and likely win the 2024 GOP presidential nomination; and saw Jared Kushner appoint a lieutenant in his role of crafting the president’s Middle East policy, according to Politico.
