WATCH: Child Asks 2020 Dem If She’ll End Global Warming. Her Answer Is Both Arrogant and a Child’s Worst Nightmare.

On Monday night, speaking at a rally at the University of Iowa, Senator Elizabeth Warren was asked by a child during the Q&A if she would end global warming if she were elected president. Without a shred of humility, Warren answered, “Yes.”

Warren’s arrogance could easily remind someone of another candidate who once promised that his presidency would change the climate of the planet Earth:

Warren continued by feeding the child’s worst nightmare: “You know, Eleanor, that is a big commitment because we’re in real trouble. You know this, right? That climate change threatens every living thing on this planet. And for me, the scariest thing that happens now is that every time scientists go back and recalculate the data, put in more information, it’s worse than we thought. The problem’s bigger; it’s moving faster and we have less time to respond.”

Black Voters Pulling Away from Democrat Party on Abortion, Education

A new announcement from the predominantly black and largest Pentecostal church in the United States and school choice polling data show black voters pulling away from the Democrat Party on two dominant issues in the 2020 elections: abortion and education. . .

Writing at the Washington Examiner, Timothy Head, executive director of the Faith & Freedom Coalition and Rev. Dean Nelson, executive director of Human Coalition Action, the two leaders noted:

Something remarkable just happened in St. Louis that you probably didn’t hear about. The Church of God in Christ, a seven-million-member black denomination, unanimously passed a historic resolution affirming the value and dignity of every human life and opposing the practice of elective abortion in America.

A key excerpt from the Resolution on the Sanctity of Human Life reads:

COGIC is one of the largest historically black Protestant denominations, which also include the National Baptist Convention, the National Baptist Convention of America, the Progressive National Convention, the African Methodist Episcopal Church, the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church, and the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church. Like these other groups, COGIC does not have a history of institutional involvement with causes typically associated with the Republican Party. Yet given the direction that abortion policy is moving in this country, its leaders felt compelled to act.

Report: Obama Warned He Would Intervene to Stop Bernie, Had Cutting Words for Biden

Former President Barack Obama once warned he would intervene to stop Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., from winning the Democratic presidential nomination, according to a new report that sheds light on Obama’s personal views of the jam-packed primary field with no clear front-runner.

Obama has largely stayed on the sidelines to date, refraining from any endorsements though he has issued general warnings to the party to avoid calls for radical upheaval in their policy pitches. These warnings were seen as a swipe at candidates like Sens. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., and Sanders.

But a new Politico Magazine report gives a clearer picture of what Obama is worried about — claiming he has said in private he’d speak out against Sanders if it looked like he could actually win.

“Back when Sanders seemed like more of a threat than he does now, Obama said privately that if Bernie were running away with the nomination, Obama would speak up to stop him,” the report says. An Obama spokesperson, however, reportedly noted that the former president has stated that he would get behind the Democratic nominee regardless of who it is. . .

“I can’t really confirm that,” the adviser said, regarding the possibility of Obama trying to stop Sanders. “He hasn’t said that directly to me. The only reason I’m hesitating at all is because, yeah, if Bernie were running away with it, I think maybe we would all have to say something. But I don’t think that’s likely. It’s not happening.” (Read more from “Report: Obama Warned He Would Intervene to Stop Bernie, Had Cutting Words for Biden” HERE)

Get Ready for Another 2020 Gun Control Candidate

Over the weekend, liberal billionaire and former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg ended weeks of speculation with the announcement that he would join the crowded 2020 Democratic presidential primary field.

Now the question is how much he’ll want to focus his efforts on gun control, given his long history of fighting against Americans’ Second Amendment rights.

As the founder of Everytown for Gun Safety, as well as a major financial backer of it, Bloomberg has already built himself quite a resume as a leader in the anti-gun movement. Bloomberg’s Everytown also provided seed money to start up The Trace — an anti-gun nonprofit media organization — back in 2015. And years before that, he was a leading voice for the banning of so-called “assault weapons” and “high-capacity ammunition clips” (by which he probably meant magazines).

So, given his background, the question really isn’t whether or not Michael Bloomberg will be a pro-gun control 2020 candidate. The question is whether or not he will make his signature issue of the past few years the signature issue of his campaign, and whether or not it’ll actually work for him.

The Democratic presidential field has already seen the failure of two virulently anti-gun candidates who made infringement of the Second Amendment a centerpiece of their campaigns: Rep. Eric Swalwell, Calif., and former Texas Rep. Robert “Beto” O’Rourke. Bloomberg certainly has a longer resume and more money than either of them, but it remains to be seen whether either of those would make a difference.

Furthermore, he’s going to have a harder time selling his message since his anti-gun bona fides are already tainted on the Left due to the controversy surrounding his “stop, question, and frisk” enforcement plan when he was still running things in the Big Apple. He formally apologized for the policy, but as the Manhattan Institute’s Rafael Mangual explains, “if he continues backing away from his record in New York, he’ll severely undermine one of his main arguments for sending him to Washington.” (For more from the author of “Get Ready for Another 2020 Gun Control Candidate” please click HERE)

Poll Reveals a New 2020 Front-Runner

Remember this poll we analyzed last week? It wasn’t a fluke. One of the most respected public opinion surveys in Iowa now shows South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg bouncing out to a clear lead in the Hawkeye State, roughly two-and-a-half months out from the first in the nation presidential caucuses. Monmouth showed Mayor Pete with a small edge, within the margin of error. Then this one dropped over the weekend:

. . .Nobody has really taken any shots at Buttigieg during the campaign, aside from the recently-departed Beto O’Rourke (who apparently doesn’t think too hard about messages on hats before he puts them on). That’s going to change. We’ve heard some whinging and griping on background about his nerdy know-it-all-ism, but he’s mostly operated in an attack-free zone. I suspect we’ll start hearing more about his inexperience managing anything beyond a small city, some of the racial flare-ups in that city, and the seemingly calculated shifts in his political image — from ‘progressive’ to ‘moderate.’ Meanwhile, he hasn’t been afraid to throw a few sharp elbows, especially at Elizabeth Warren, on the issue of healthcare. Warren has shifted her single-payer policy in recent days, rolling out a tweaked plan that would extend the transition period, delaying the coercive outlawing of private insurance (which she still supports). Buttigieg, who’s been harping on her proposal for weeks, pounced:

It’s That Bad: Obama Signals Concern About Radical 2020 Field

Former President Barack Obama warned a group of leftist donors that Democrats must be cognizant of public sentiment going into the 2020 election, taking a veiled shot at far-left candidates like Sens. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and Bernie Sanders (I-VT) by noting that Democrats “have to be rooted in reality.”

The former president spoke to a group of liberal donors in Washington, DC, on Friday and suggested that the far-left ideas articulated and pursued by some of the candidates in the Democrat primary could turn away potential voters.

“Even as we push the envelope and we are bold in our vision we also have to be rooted in reality,” Obama said, according to the New York Times. “The average American doesn’t think we have to completely tear down the system and remake it.”

Obama refrained from naming a specific candidate, but he, according to the Times, “cautioned that the universe of voters that could support a Democratic candidate — Democrats, independents, and moderate Republicans — are not driven by the same views reflected on ‘certain left-leaning Twitter feeds’ or ‘the activist wing of our party.’”

Obama’s mention of “certain left-leaning Twitter feeds” almost hints to the “Squad” – Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Ilhan Omar (D-MN) Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), and Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) – whose members frequently take to Twitter to express their unfiltered critiques of President Trump and offer their ultra-leftist, borderline socialist views. ‘Kill It’: That Was One of the 2020 Dem’s Alleged Response When an Employee Told Him She Was Pregnant

Former New York City Mayor and 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg allegedly told a female employee to “kill it” when she revealed she was pregnant. The allegation was made in a 1997 lawsuit filed in New York by Sekiko Sakai Garrison, one of Bloomberg’s former executives, National Review reported.

Bloomberg was reportedly upset that another pregnant woman would be added to his payroll. “Great! Number 16,” he said, an apparent reference to the number of pregnancies among his staff at Bloomberg LP.

In addition to these two accusations surrounding her pregnancy, the lawsuit also said Bloomberg pointed another woman out to Garrison and said, “If you looked like that, I would do you in a second.”

The lawsuit also detailed allegations of racism. He allegedly referred to Mexican clients as “jumping beans” and told a female employee having issues finding a babysitter that “all you need is some black who doesn’t even have to speak English to rescue it from a burning building,” the Telegraph reported back in 2007.

The lawsuit was settled in 2007, with both parties agreeing not to discuss the matter, although parts of the settlement were leaked to the Associated Press. When Bloomberg first ran for mayor in the early 2000s, his campaign claimed he took a polygraph test where he denied the sexual harassment allegations, although a copy of the results have never been released. Man Tries Filing for President as ‘Epstein Didn’t Kill Himself’

Legal news website Law & Crime reports that a New Hampshire man has attempted to register as a candidate in the country’s first presidential primary under the name “Epstein Didn’t Kill Himself.”

The man’s real name is Rod Webber, and he is described in the Manchester Ink Link as a colorful character in local politics:

Webber is a pacifist, a vegetarian, a singer-songwriter, a neo-hippie and performance artist, who’s made a name for himself on the campaign trail of late as “the flower guy.” He sports a beard and a top hat while philosophizing over Biblical passages on war and fracking, and what makes a man well-suited for public office, always offering a peace offering of a flower in the end, to punctuate his point of view.

According to Law & Crime, Webber’s social media timeline suggests that he does not identify with either political party and is described as “something of an anarchist.” The New Hampshire man insists he does not “believe in isms.” . . .

The Ink also noted that Weber was ejected from a campaign event for Senator Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) during the 2016 Republican primary, but was eventually invited back in. “Later they reversed that and set up a meeting between Rubio and I. I gave him flowers,” said Webber. “It’s symbolic, like, if you become president, that you have a peaceful term. Rubio said he was starting to get jealous that I hadn’t given him a flower yet.” (Read more from “Man Tries Filing for President as ‘Epstein Didn’t Kill Himself'” HERE)

Anti-Gun Extremist Michael Bloomberg to Enter 2020 Race

Billionaire Michael Bloomberg, a Democrat megadonor and anti-gun extremist, is reportedly set to enter the 2020 Democratic Party primary race for president, according to a new report from late Thursday afternoon.

The New York Times reported that “in the first sign that he is seriously moving toward a campaign, Mr. Bloomberg has dispatched staffers to Alabama to gather signatures to qualify for the primary there” because the state “has a Friday deadline for candidates to formally enter the race.”

“Mr. Bloomberg and his advisers called a number of prominent Democrats on Thursday to tell them he was seriously considering the race, including former Senator Harry Reid of Nevada, the retired majority leader who remains a dominant power broker in the early caucus state,” the Times added. “Aides to Mr. Bloomberg also reached out to Gov. Gina Raimondo of Rhode Island, the chair of the Democratic Governors Association.”

In an email to Politico, longtime Bloomberg aide Howard Wolfson said: “We now need to finish the job and ensure that Trump is defeated — but Mike is increasingly concerned that the current field of candidates is not well positioned to do that. If Mike runs he would offer a new choice to Democrats built on a unique record running America’s biggest city, building a business from scratch and taking on some of America’s toughest challenges as a high-impact philanthropist.”

Wolfson continued on Twitter, writing: “Mike believes that Donald Trump represents an unprecedented threat to our nation. In 2016, he spoke out at the Democratic Convention, warning against a Trump presidency. In 2018, he spent more than $100 million to help elect Democrats to ensure that Congress began to hold the President accountable. And this year, he helped Democrats win control of both houses of the Virginia legislature.”

New Poll Has Stunning News for Trump Regarding 2020 Race

By Newsweek. Donald Trump is polling better than Democratic primary front-runners Joe Biden and Elizabeth Warren in Nevada, a key swing state for the upcoming 2020 election.

A new poll by Emerson found the president would beat both the former Vice President and the Massachusetts senator by 51 percent of support among Nevadans to 49 percent in a head-to-head.

The survey conducted between October 31 and November 2 also found that Trump and Bernie Sanders were running neck-and-neck, with both candidates hitting 50 percent of popular support in the state.

But his marginally greater potential to beat Trump in Nevada was not reflected in his standing among local Democrats. (Read more from “New Poll Has Stunning News for Trump Regarding 2020 Race” HERE)

Poll: 59 Percent Say Trump’s Interactions with Ukraine Neither Illegal nor Wrong

By Breitbart. About six out of every ten U.S. adults, or 59 percent, believe President Donald Trump’s interactions with Ukraine that triggered the impeachment probe amount to something “unethical but not illegal” or “nothing wrong” at all, according to a recent poll.

The poll, conducted by the Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs and released on Friday, reveals that 29 percent believe Trump’s interactions with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky are “unethical but not illegal.”

Another 30 percent say there is “nothing wrong” with the Trump-Zelensky interactions, while 38 percent say Trump’s Ukraine-linked actions amount to “something illegal.”

In other words, 59 percent of respondents believe Trump’s Ukraine-linked actions are neither illegal (29 percent) nor wrong (30 percent). (Read more from “Poll: 59 Percent Say Trump’s Interactions with Ukraine Neither Illegal nor Wrong” HERE)
