U.S. School District Tells Kids: ‘Attacking Whiteness Is Not Enough’

A now-deleted portion of the Riverside, Califonia school district’s website obtained by The Federalist displays that the district promoted an essay that attacks people based on their inborn skin color. The essay, titled “Decentering Whiteness” by Jeff Hitchcock and Charley Flint, claimed that “attacking whiteness is not enough.” It sought to divide people on the basis of their race and argued that “whiteness” should be pushed to “the margin,”

Riverside Unified School District promoted the essay at least three separate times, under the “Professional Learning,” “Community Engagement,” and “Culture and Climate” sections of their Equity, Access, and Community Engagement resources page, according to screenshots.

The Federalist previously revealed that both Riverside Superintendent Renee Hill and Board of Education member Tom Hunt lied about the district teaching critical race theory. One parent from the district, who wished to remain unnamed, told The Federalist that the resources list that contained “Decentering Whiteness” was removed from the website following the exposé of the district’s dishonesty. . .

The removed 19-page “resources” document, which can be viewed here, not only condemned “whiteness” but served as a guidebook for how institutions can fight it, so that “whiteness itself can be made more marginal.” The paper explained, “Decentering whiteness, as we envision it, is a collective process that can take place in organizations, sectors of society, personal lives, etc., over periods of days, months, years and generations.” (Read more from “U.S. School District Tells Kids: ‘Attacking Whiteness Is Not Enough’” HERE)

You Won’t Believe These New School Mask Mandates and Child Vax Proposals in California

. . .[T]he latest out of Los Angeles — home to some of the most insane, anti-science ‘COVID’ overreach in the country: Well over a year of school closures. Ludicrous and politicized demands from the local teachers union. Allegations (not denied) of kids being vaccinated in school without parental knowledge. And now, an unhinged new masking policy:

The Los Angeles Unified School District said it will prohibit students from wearing cloth masks as the highly transmissible omicron variant of COVID-19 continues to spread. Starting Monday, students must wear “well-fitted, non-cloth masks with a nose wire” at all times, including outdoors, the district announced…The shift away from cloth masks was prompted by guidance from Los Angeles County health authorities, said Shannon Haber, a spokeswoman for LAUSD.

Los Angeles’ reaction is, more child masking. Harder. Even outdoors. It’s deranged. So are requirements like these, from other blue cities in blue states on the other side of the country:

The Wells Fargo Center will soon require fans and staff to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test for upcoming Philadelphia 76ers and Philadelphia Flyers games under Philadelphia’s newest indoor dining mandate…The mandate, which applies to all indoor establishments that serve food or drink for on-site consumption, will go into effect on Jan. 3. For the first two weeks, establishments will be permitted to accept proof of a negative COVID-19 test from within 24 hours as an alternative to vaccination proof. After Jan. 17, all staff and visitors will need to provide proof of vaccination…Staff members and children ages five to 11 have until early February to be fully vaccinated.

Director of ER COVID Response: The Real Crisis Facing California Hospitals Isn’t Omicron Cases, It’s Strict Quarantine Rules

A doctor with the University of California San Francisco hospital system is sounding the alarm on the real crisis facing hospitals: staffing shortages made worse by the state’s strict quarantine rules.

Dr. Jeanne Noble, an associate professor of emergency medicine at UCSF, explained to SFGATE that public officials panicking over the surge in COVID-19 hospitalizations are neglecting to account for incidental positives — people who test positive for COVID at the hospital after being admitted for unrelated reasons. Failing to recognize this important distinction has led reported COVID hospitalization rates to “greatly exaggerate COVID burden,” Noble, the director of COVID response for UCSF’s emergency department, said on Twitter this week.

“The real COVID crisis that our hospitals are facing is a severe staffing shortage that is compromising the quality of our care,” Noble told SFGATE.

Women Inmates Seek Help as Law Allows ‘Trans Women’ to Share Spaces in Prisons

Female inmates in California prisons are seeking relief after a new California law allows biological men to be housed at women’s detention centers in the state based on their “gender identity.”

The letter from inside a prison said in part:

So we want to know if you can possible send a copy of the policy and procedures for the screening process of these men coming here. They are getting caught having sex already yesterday a girl was s*ucking a mans d**k on the main yard. WTF? … This is not safe for us.

The law, SB132, is designed to allow prisoners being admitted to prison according to the sex they want to live as rather than their biological sex — resulting in men living with men and even some women living with men:

The bill would require the [Corrections] department, for a person who is transgender, nonbinary, or intersex to only conduct a search of that person according to the search policy for their gender identity or according to the gender designation of the facility where they are housed, based on the individual’s search preference. The bill would additionally require the department to house the person in a correctional facility designated for men or women based on the individual’s preference, except as specified.

No Wonder Why People and Businesses Are Dumping California

A recent study by the Cato Institute, the libertarian think tank, ranked California 48th out of the 50 states in personal and economic freedom. The study also examines fiscal policy and regulatory policy. For the first time, California’s population decreased last year, resulting in the loss of a congressional seat.

[Here’s why: as] of the end of 2021, a publicly held company headquartered in California must have between one and three female board members, depending upon its size, or face a fine of $100,000. Proponents insist that female membership on boards of directors increases profits. One wonders why companies do not simply sack their male members in favor of an all-female board. . .

In October, California Gov. Gavin Newsom, to continue the fight against “climate change,” signed a bill to eliminate gasoline powered lawn mowers and leaf blowers. Never mind that a spokesperson for the National Association of Landscape Professionals said a three-person landscaping crew will need to carry 30 to 40 fully charged batteries to power its equipment during a full day’s work. . .

Then there’s the new law requiring large toy stores to set up “gender neutral” toy sections. Evan Low, the California Democratic Assemblyman who co-authored the bill said: “We need to stop stigmatizing what’s acceptable for certain genders and just let kids be kids. My hope is this bill encourages more businesses across California and the U.S. to avoid reinforcing harmful and outdated stereotypes”. . .

WATCH: Homeless Man Stands in Front of Stolen Firetruck and Persuades Man to Give Up to Police

A homeless man helped police apprehend a man who had allegedly stolen a firetruck and taken it on a medium-speed chase through Southern California.

Orange County Fire Authority Captain Greg Barta told the media that the man had stolen fire engine 85 after firefighters had transported a patient to the UC-Irvine Medical Center at about 1:40 a.m. on Tuesday morning.

“As they were dropping off a patient at the hospital the truck was stolen,” Barta said, according to KTTV-TV.

The man drove the firetruck through many communities in Orange County, including the cities of Irvine and Fountain Valley. Police said no one was hurt, and he never drove at speeds above 40 miles per hour.

About an hour and a half later, police say a homeless man stopped the firetruck from moving by standing in front of it while they were ordering the driver to surrender.

Disturbing: Schools Host LGBT Club for 4-Year-Olds, Promote ‘Two Spirit’ Sexuality and Child Mutilation

The Los Angeles Unified School District’s Office of Human Relations, Equity and Diversity hosted a 10-week online club for LGBT elementary schoolers, down to four-year-olds. It also prepared a series of presentations that promoted leftwing gender theory and deviant sexualities including the “Two Spirit” sexuality.

The club was called “Rainbow Club,” and met once a week for 10 weeks. It was advertised to students from preschool to fifth grade as a “virtual club for LGBTQ+ elementary school students, their friends, and their grown-ups.”(“TK” stands for transitional kindergarten, for children who are four years old, or preschool age.)

The club had its last meeting on November 3, and the advertisement notes the club will restart next semester. The office hosted two similar programs for middle school students and high school students, respectively, including one called the “Middle School Trans & Gender Non Binary Group.”

A different group organized through the LAUSD held a meeting where they hosted Bianca Salevetti, a nurse practitioner from the Children Hospital LA’s Trans Youth Health and Development Department. Salevetti discussed “medical transition and gender care.”

A spokesperson for the LAUSD told The Federalist, “The Rainbow Club is an online meeting for parents and their elementary school-aged children to meet, connect, and talk about topics related to their identities. The goal of the Rainbow Club is to support families of elementary aged children. The meeting is led by clinicians. Critical Race Trove From School District Tells Students How to Use Witchcraft on People Who Say ‘All Lives Matter’

. . .Campbell Union High School District has promoted more than 100 “equity resources” to students and staff, including a document that taught students how to put a curse on those who say “all lives matter.” . . .

CUHSD also links to the Black Lives Matter Resource Guide, specifically their section labeled “high school,” which itself includes 45 different texts. Amid a wide variety of CRT inspired assignments is a document that includes writing prompts on police brutality and racist violence.

One section titled “Hex” tells the reader, “Hexing people is an important way to get out anger and frustration.” It becomes increasingly deranged, suggesting that those who say “all lives matter” or commit “microaggressions,” should be targeted. “Write your own hex poem, cursing that person,” it instructs.

When asked her thoughts on the document that instructed K-12 students to use witchcraft on political opponents, Branham teacher Meredith Allen told The Federalist she hasn’t read the documents her district recommends, so she “can’t comment,” but that she is generally “opposed to the ‘all lives matter’ message.”

California City Approves Motion to Reject Any State or Federal COVID Mandates

The city of Oroville in Northern California voted to declare itself a “Constitutional Republic City” to protect its citizens against tyrannical state and federal COVID mandates.

In a 6-1 vote by Oroville’s city council on November 6, members approved the motion with the power to opt out of enforcing “any executive orders issued by the state of California or by the United States federal government that are overreaching or clearly violate our constitutionally protected rights.”

The city or Oroville has a population of over 15,000.

“What we are doing is protecting our citizens’ rights as much as we can on the local level,” Oroville Vice Mayor Scott Thomson told Fox News Digital.

“In a way, we are acting as a sanctuary city for our citizens and their rights and freedoms protected by the U.S. and state constitutions,” continued Thomson. “Gavin Newsom [California’s governor] modeled this type of declaration for us when he declared San Francisco a sanctuary city [for illegal immigrants] for what he believed to be overreach by the federal government against his citizens.” (Read more from “California City Approves Motion to Reject Any State or Federal COVID Mandates” HERE)

These Public Schools Are Teaching Students That Celebrating Thanksgiving Is Evil

The Los Angeles Unified School District, the second-largest public school district in the nation with more than 640,000 K-12 students enrolled, discouraged students from celebrating Thanksgiving this year, instead offering an alternative holiday in its place.

The LAUSD Office of Human Relations, Diversity & Equity prepared a number of presentations called “Advisory Lessons” that push left-wing beliefs and are intended to be shown to students. The website also describes the need for teachers to talk to students about “power, privilege, oppression, and resistance.”

One such lesson is called “Let’s Talk About Thanksgiving.” It starts out innocently enough, asking students if they prefer pie or turkey. Then the presentation lists a number of objectives, one of which is “Reflect on how you can honor the true meaning of Thanksgiving.”

What exactly is this true meaning, you might ask? The presentation doesn’t waste any time, jumping into a video from MTV titled “Everything You Know About Thanksgiving Is Wrong.” It challenges the finer details of the first Thanksgiving, like the nature of the food that they ate and the clothes that the pilgrims wore. The video goes on to entirely overshadow the three-day pilgrim festival at which 90 members of the Wampanoag tribe were present, the event that would later go on to be called Thanksgiving.

It does, however, discuss the extensive history of violent conflict between Native peoples and the pilgrims, all while falsely framing such conflict as if it was exclusively initiated and carried out by the European settlers.
