Nation of Islam Defends Ilhan Omar With 9/11 Truther Video Featuring Anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan

On Tuesday morning, the Nation of Islam’s research group defended Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), who has come under fire for her comments minimizing the tragedy of the 9/11 terror attacks. The Nation of Islam Research Group, an arm of the Nation of Islam led by notorious anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan, tweeted a video in which Farrakhan claims the George W. Bush administration orchestrated the 9/11 attacks.

The tweet came after Omar supporters launched a tweet storm with the hashtag #IStandWithIlhan. The Nation of Islam interpreted Omar’s comments describing the terror attacks (“Somebody did something”) to be an endorsement of the 9/11 truther conspiracy.

“3,133 Scientists Back Ilhan Omar on 9/11,” the Nation of Islam research group claimed. “Deep skepticism exists about the gov’t version of 9/11. Many experts—architects & engineers—say the World Trade Center Towers were destroyed in a controlled demolition. Listen to [Louis Farrakhan].”

The Nation of Islam ended the tweet with the hashtag “I Stand With Ilhan,” associating the movement defending Omar with the 9/11 truther conspiracy. (Read more from “Nation of Islam Defends Ilhan Omar With 9/11 Truther Video Featuring Anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan” HERE)

Omar’s Controversial First Months Pay off Big in Donation Dollars

Anti-Semitism charges aren’t the only thing that Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., has racked up during her tumultuous first few months in Washington. She’s also been pulling in big piles of cash.

According to analysis of Federal Election Commission filings detailed at Politico, the controversial freshman lawmaker has raised over $832,000 during the first quarter of this year. About half of that is from donations under $200 and the majority of it came via online donations from ActBlue – a wildly successful online fundraising portal for leftist candidates and causes.

Several people also gave maximum donations under federal law.

A complete list of Omar’s donors can be found here.

Needless to say, for a freshman to become one of House Democrats’ top fundraisers in her first quarter is no small feat. However, most House freshmen also don’t spend their first few months getting as much national attention for controversial statements like Omar has.

Since being sworn in back in January, the Minnesota representative has tweeted an anti-Semitic trope about Jewish money, promoted a different anti-Semitic trope about dual loyalty, pushed for the release of a jailed Muslim Brotherhood leader, defended an older anti-Semitic tweet, avoided being the person named reason behind a House anti-hate resolution, and minimized 9/11 while flirting with a conspiracy theory about the attacks.

Seems like controversy is a pretty lucrative game. (For more from the author of “Omar’s Controversial First Months Pay off Big in Donation Dollars” please click HERE)

Nancy Pelosi Contacted the Police Over Trump Tweet

Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Sunday ordered Capitol Hill Police to provide extra protection for Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN). The decision comes after President Donald Trump tweeted a video of Omar saying “some people did something” on September 11, 2001. . .

Pelosi released the following statement about beefing up security:

Following the President’s tweet, I spoke with the Sergeant-at-Arms to ensure that Capitol Police are conducting a security assessment to safeguard Congresswoman Omar, her family and her staff. They will continue to monitor and address the threats she faces.

The President’s words weigh a ton, and his hateful and inflammatory rhetoric creates real danger. President Trump must take down his disrespectful and dangerous video.

WATCH: Trump Posts BRUTAL Video Smacking Ilhan Omar over 9/11 Comments

By Daily Wire. President Donald Trump ripped Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) in a brutal video clip he posted to Twitter concerning the Democrat’s widely-ridiculed comments downplaying the 9/11 terror attacks that killed thousands of Americans.

The video begins with a clip of Rep. Omar referring to the 9/11 atrocity as being an instance where “some people did something” during a speech she gave in March for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR).

The video then cuts to news footage of the second plane crashing into the Twin Towers, before cutting back to Omar’s “some people did something” remark. This sequence is repeated two more times, as the horrifying realities of that fateful day are showcased.

AOC defends Omar after Trump 9/11 video, calls on more Dems to speak out

By NBC News. President Donald Trump tweeted a video featuring images of 9/11 to attack Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn. — which drew sharp rebukes from two other freshmen representatives — Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y. and Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich.

The video that Trump posted on Friday splices a reference Omar made about the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks with footage of the Twin Towers in New York collapsing. It is captioned “WE WILL NEVER FORGET.”

Omar’s reference to the terrorist attacks came in a speech last month at an event hosted by the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) in Los Angeles. (Read more from “AOC defends Omar after Trump 9/11 video, calls on more Dems to speak out” HERE)

Ilhan Omar Uses Iconic Words From George Bush to Defend Her 9/11 Comments. The Internet Erupts.

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) used iconic words former president George W. Bush made at Ground Zero atop a heap of rubble in New York City in September 2001 to defend her widely-criticized remarks trivializing the 9/11 terrorist attack that claimed thousands of American lives. . .

The Democrat posted the outrageous defense in a tweet published on Friday:

“The people — and the people who knocked these buildings down will hear all of us soon!” President George W. Bush

Was Bush downplaying the terrorist attack?

Predictably, Omar then suggested her criticism derives from her being Muslim: “What if he was a Muslim?” she added to the tweet.

The freshman congresswoman’s defense received swift backlash online, since, of course, no one in his right mind would suggest then-President Bush was downplaying anything. Bush was simply threatening those who carried out the attack in its immediate aftermath — directly the opposite of Omar’s callous trivialization.

New York Post Cover Photo Shreds Ilhan Omar for Trivializing 9/11 Terror Attacks

The New York Post issued a scathing rebuke of Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) with their Thursday cover and editorial after Omar described the September 11, 2001, Islamic terror attacks that killed thousands of Americans as “some people did something.”

Omar made the remarks, which sparked widespread outrage, during a March 23 speech at an event for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) — which the United Arab Emirates has designated as a terrorist organization. Omar has since bemoaned criticism of her from Fox News and Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) in response to her remarks by alleging that they were engaging in “dangerous incitement” against her.

The New York Post responded to Omar’s comments by making this the feature story in their Thursday publication with a cover photo of the World Trade Centers under attack on September 11, 2001, and with a headline that stated: “Here’s your something.”

“How pathetic: A member of Congress can’t acknowledge what happened on one of the most horrific days in US history,” The New York Post Editorial Board wrote. “Some people did something? Wow. What a way to describe the heinous surprise attack on America that claimed 3,000 lives.”

At the March 23 event, Omar said: “CAIR was founded after 9/11 because they recognized that some people did something, and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties.” (Read more from “New York Post Cover Photo Shreds Ilhan Omar for Trivializing 9/11 Terror Attacks” HERE)

Ocasio-Cortez Defends Omar’s 9/11 Comments by Mocking War Hero Dan Crenshaw

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) rushed to the defense of Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) on Thursday after a clip of Omar went viral this week that showed her describing the 9/11 terrorist attacks as “some people did something.”

Ocasio-Cortez defended Omar by making multiple false claims and by mocking Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX), who called out Omar for trivializing the 9/11 terror attacks.

The 29-year-old former bartender attacked Crenshaw, a decorated war hero, by suggesting that he was not fighting for the families of 9/11 victims and saying that he should “go do something” about terrorism. . .

Nothing that the New York Post or Crenshaw said used “completely out-of-context quotes” from Omar, they quoted her directly. . .

Ocasio-Cortez’s claim that Crenshaw refuses to support the bill is also a lie. The bill has not even been voted on in the House and just because Crenshaw is not a cosponsor does not prevent him from voting in favor of the bill when a vote is held on it. Ilhan Omar Trivializes 9/11 Terrorist Attacks

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) trivialized the deadliest terrorist attack in U.S. history in a recent speech she gave at an event for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) — which the United Arab Emirates has designated as a terrorist organization.

When speaking about the 9/11 terror attacks, which killed approximately 3,000 American citizens, Omar described the attacks as “some people did something.”

“CAIR was founded after 9/11 because they recognized that some people did something, and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties,” Omar said.

Omar was met by hundreds of protesters when she attended the March event in Los Angeles who expressed strong disapproval of her use of anti-Semitic tropes and promotion of anti-Semitic conspiracy theories.

Omar responded to the “very interesting” pro-Israel demonstrators by saying: “I don’t think any of them realize that people like myself and many of the people in this room could care less about what they have to say.”

Ilhan Omar Launches Attack on White House Senior Adviser

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) claimed Monday evening that Jewish White House senior adviser Stephen Miller is a white nationalist.

Omar’s tweet linked to a story from Splinter News, which noted a CNN report that Miller requested President Trump to withdraw his nomination of Ron Vitiello to head Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Omar has repeatedly used antisemitic language to describe pro-Israel Americans, accusing them of having “allegiance to a foreign country,” and claiming that pro-Israel members of Congress are bribed by lobbyists.

A top Democrat strategist with ties to many 2020 presidential campaigns told Breitbart News that it is “bonkers” to assert that wanting to put Americans first on immigration is somehow “white nationalist.” (Read more from “Ilhan Omar Launches Attack on White House Senior Adviser” HERE)

Omar Spreads Multiple Debunked Lies About Trump Administration

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) spread multiple lies about the Trump administration on Monday in a multi-tweet attack she launched against the Department of Homeland Security.

“Kirstjen Nielsen was responsible for: -Locking toddlers in cages -The death of a 7 year-old on her agency’s watch -Repeatedly lying about taking children from their mothers Now this President wants someone even ‘tougher,'” Omar tweeted. “This should be a warning to all who believe in justice.”

“The acting DHS Secretary commanded the CBP officers who physically separated over 2,800 children from their parents. He was in charge when CBP fired tear gas on a crowd of migrants seeking asylum He failed to disclose details about the death of a child in CBP custody to Congress,” Omar continued.

Omar’s claim that Nielsen locked toddlers in cages was completely false. As many online noted, the incident that Omar was referring to had nothing to do with any department at Homeland Security.

Omar’s claim comes from an image of a toddler in a cage that went viral when people claimed that it showed the toddler in DHS custody, when, in fact, the photo was taken at a protest staged in front of Dallas City Hall.
