By New York Post. Jeffrey Epstein’s secret girlfriend was a children’s book author nicknamed “Chocolate Sauce” who touts herself as a “spiritual entrepreneur” — and runs a “sacred space” in the Big Apple, according to a report.

News of a previously unknown girlfriend first emerged in the latest trove of unsealed court documents, in which Ghislaine Maxwell was shown to have begged Epstein to get “Shelley” to publicly announce in the 2000s that she — not Maxwell — was the pedophile’s ex.

Now she has been identified as British-born author Shelley Anne Lewis, 43, who was a frequent traveler on Epstein’s private jet, including trips to his so-called “Pedo Island,” according to the Mail on Sunday newspaper.

“Shelley was always very well connected and beautiful. I am shocked and saddened,” a former colleague told the UK paper of her apparent romantic ties to the notorious late pedophile. . .

What the Silence Over Bill’s Alleged Visit to Epstein’s Pedophile Island Tells Us About the Media

By Townhall. . .Of course, the Clinton camp denies the former president was ever there, but Maxwell has alleged that there are tapes of two prominent politicians having sex with minors. Maxwell, Epstein’s alleged partner in coordinating these depraved sex acts with underage girls, was recently arrested by federal authorities, denied bail, and being held in the same federal facility as Epstein before his highly suspicious suicide. With three passports and numerous accounts with millions of dollars, she’s a flight risk. She’s reportedly been given paper clothes to prevent self-harm.

Still, the former president being spotted on the island with minors That seems like at least something to look into, right? … And with these new documents, you’d think there would be at least some mention on the mainstream circuits. We’re not expecting much, but it’s been quiet. I mean, like German U-Boats in the Black Pit silence. Nothing. They’re suffocating this story with a pillow and those who do report on it barely give it the light of day. Is it shocking? No. Is it expected from these clowns? Yes. A former president was seen dabbling on some debauched island with an indicted child sex trafficker. That seems…like a problem (via Fourth Watch) [emphasis mine]:

What does this tell us about the Acela Media? Quite a bit. As Glenn Greenwald tweeted Friday night, “I don’t think there’s been a bigger gap between (a) the importance, multi-layered and fascinating aspects of a news story and (b) the mainstream media’s weirdly steadfast avoidance of it than the Jeffrey Epstein saga.”

The media has largely avoided this story, while the media remains intertwined with it. It was less than 10 years ago that Jeffrey Epstein was sitting down for dinner with some famous houseguests, a short 18 months after he was released from jail after pleading guilty to a lesser charge of solicitation of prostitution with a minor. ABC anchor George Stephanopoulos was there. Former NBC and CBS anchor Katie Couric was there. Former E! and Netflix host Chelsea Handler was too. Why were they there? They’ve all said it was the one and only time they met Epstein, and they were unaware of his past.

The batch of 47 documents and more than 600 pages unsealed from the now-settled defamation case include the deposition transcripts from Giuffre, email correspondence between Maxwell and Epstein, and the draft of Giuffre’s memoir she was writing about her experiences inside the alleged sex-trafficking ring that provided young women to wealthy and powerful men. . .

During a court questioning, lawyer Jack Scarola asked Giuffre, “Do you have any recollection of Jeffrey Epstein’s specifically telling you that ‘Bill Clinton owes me favors?'”

“Yes, I do,” Giuffre responded. “It was a laugh though. He would laugh it off. You know, I remember asking Jeffrey what’s Bill Clinton doing here [on Epstein’s island] kind of thing, and he laughed it off and said well he owes me favors.” . . .

“Ghislane, Emmy [another girl who was allegedly a regular at Epstein’s house], and there was 2 young girls that I could identify. I never really knew them well anyways. It was just 2 girls from New York,” Giuffre answered.

Bill Clinton Visited Jeffrey Epstein’s Private Island, Unsealed Court Documents Suggest

One of the names mentioned was that of former President Bill Clinton. . .

The lawyer asked her to clarify what she was referring to when she mentioned Clinton, and she said the former president was on the island. She said Maxwell was also there, as well as a person named “Emmy” and two young girls.

“And were all of you staying at Jeffrey’s house on the island, including Bill Clinton?” Scarola asked.

Court Docs Detail Maxwell’s ‘Constant’ Orgies With Young Girls on Epstein’s Island

By New York Post. . .Virginia Giuffre, who has accused Epstein and Maxwell of abusing her, detailed the sex-obsessed world of the pair in a 2016 deposition in a civil case against Maxwell that was made public for the first time Thursday.

Giuffre testified that Maxwell had “continuous” sex with girls and women in front of her, some she believed were as young as 15.

“There’s just a blur of so many girls,” Giuffre told Maxwell’s attorneys when asked if she could name girls she saw Maxwell have sex with.

“There were blondes, there were brunettes, there were redheads. They were all beautiful girls. I would say the ages ranged between 15 and 21.” . . .

Epstein Floodgates Open as Judge Rules Explosive Docs Detailing Ghislaine Maxwell’s Sex Life Can Be Unsealed in Virginia Giuffre’s Defamation Case Within a Week

By Daily Mail. A judge today has ordered the unsealing of a vast tranche of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein, which could shed light on his friendship with powerful men accused of having sex with his victims.

Judge Loretta Preska said that 80 documents – which will run to hundreds of pages – should be made public within a week.

The documents will include depositions from Ghislaine Maxwell, which could explain her alleged role in Epstein’s sex trafficking operation.

They could include details about Maxwell’s sex life that her lawyers have previously tried to stop from being released, relating to a seven-hour, 418-page deposition Maxwell gave which her legal team said was ‘extremely personal, confidential’. . .

The documents will also include communications between Maxwell and Epstein from January 2015 when Virginia Roberts made explosive allegations about them in court papers. What Ghislaine Maxwell’s Court Document Release Means for Prince Andrew and Others in Epstein’s ‘Little Black Book’

By Forbes. . .[I]t’s important to remember how crucial Virginia Roberts Giuffre’s narrative of her three alleged encounters with Prince Andrew are to her claims of being trafficked, specifically to London, specifically at the hands of Ghislaine Maxwell and Epstein. In this sense it can be argued that the news of the release of the civil documents is worse for Prince Andrew than it is for his old friend Maxwell, since Andrew sits in a luxe sort of confinement of his own making, un-indicted but inexorably at the forefront of the thinking at every turn the criminal case against his friend takes. . .

For his part, Alan Dershowitz, a friend of Epstein’s who advised him as he squeaked out his generous deal from the Florida prosecutors upon his conviction in 2010, welcomed the release. Dershowitz said, “I’m thrilled that all the documents come out, because I have nothing to hide.” . . .

The content from the Roberts Giuffre lawsuit will land imminently, and its triggering effect of renewed, very public scrutiny of that time period in Epstein’s and in Andrew’s lives will present Prince Andrew and his “working group” of legal and public relations advisors with a choice. They will have to unfetter their hitherto unhurried approach toward a more cooperative posture with the American authorities, or, somewhat likelier, they will have to figure out how to employ that process as cover for a more successful groundhog-backing-slowly-into-his-burrow attempt than they have been able to provide the prince to date.

It’s up for grabs whether anybody can, or could, successfully bury the issue for the prince, but that possibility seems far more remote now. Either way, the news of the document release of the Roberts Giuffre civil action is bad for Andrew, and as more documents than these immediate ones will be made public by Judge Preska, the retired prince’s legal and public relations prospects for the coming months look rough. The attack happened at the home of Esther Salas, 51, an Obama-appointed District Court judge, in North Brunswick, New Jersey, on Sunday evening.

The judge’s 20-year-old son Daniel Anderl was killed, and her defense attorney husband Mark Anderl, 63, was critically injured. . .

Judge Salas had recently been assigned to a civil financial fraud case tied to Jeffrey Epstein.

It was brought by Deutsche Bank investors who claim the bank made false and misleading statements about its anti-money laundering policies and failed to monitor ‘high-risk’ customers including convicted sex offender billionaire Jeffrey Epstein. ‘Anti-Feminist’ Lawyer Identified as Shooter Who Killed Judge Esther Salas’ Son Then Self

By ABC News. The suspect in the fatal shooting of a federal judge’s son, who was an attorney that had a previous case in front of the judge, has been found dead, law enforcement sources told ABC News.

The son of Judge Esther Salas was shot and killed, and her husband shot and injured in an attack at the family’s New Jersey home on Sunday night. Salas was not hurt in the attack. . .

The suspect was a white man who wore a face covering and a FedEx uniform, law enforcement sources told ABC News, and he used an ordinary car to make a getaway.

The suspect has now been identified as Roy Den Hollander, a Manhattan lawyer and self-described antifeminist, multiple law enforcement sources briefed on the case told ABC News and the FBI confirmed.

Den Hollander’s body was discovered in a car by a municipal employee in the town of Rockland, New York. He died of an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound, the sources said. PROTECTING PEDOPHILES: Facebook Removes Viral Video Takedown of Jeffrey Epstein for ‘Bullying and Harassment’ (VIDEO)

Facebook flagged Andrew Schulz’s scathing video takedown of Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein for violating company standards on “harassment and bullying,” removing the clip from public view after it had already garnered a million views. Asked by The Federalist why the video was removed and whether it would be restored, Facebook did not respond with an explanation by publishing time.

“Our pieces strive to express the feelings of what we believe to be the majority of Americans. Americans whose views exist in between both political extremes. We figured one issue that would have bipartisan support would be making fun of pedophiles and their enablers. Apparently Facebook feels otherwise,” Schulz told The Federalist on Monday.

“Also,” he added, “how the f**k can I bully billionaires?”

Schulz, a hugely popular YouTube comedian, posted the six-minute video to his Facebook page on July 12. Maxwell was arrested on July 12 and hit with multiple charges connected to Epstein’s serial sexual abuse of teenage girls. The British “socialite” is alleged to have spent years grooming young women for Epstein.

“Ghislaine & Epstein… How DEEP Their Pedo Connections Go,” Schulz captioned the video on Facebook. “The evil broad Ghislaine Maxwell has finally been arrested and it’s time to give her, Epstein, and everyone that enabled them some bars. Enjoy the massacre!”

Alleged Jeffrey Epstein Co-Conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell Hires Lawyer Who Helped Take Down ‘El Chapo’

By Fox News. Ghislaine Maxwell has hired the former prosecutor who helped bring down drug kingpin Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman to try to get her off child sex-trafficking charges.

Recent court filings for the 58-year-old British media heiress show that she is being repped by Christian Everdell, who spent more than a decade as an assistant US attorney for the Southern District of New York.

Everdell’s bio notes how he and his team were awarded a “True American Hero Award” by the Federal Drug Agent Foundation for “their work in the investigation and apprehension of the former head of the Sinaloa drug cartel in Mexico (‘Chapo’ Guzman).”

Former colleagues believe he may use his experience in such high-profile cases to get Maxwell to turn on others allegedly in Jeffrey Epstein’s inner circle to strike a deal.

“He will of course do what is in the best interests of his client, but no doubt he will be talking to her about the benefits of becoming a cooperating witness,” tweeted Jennifer Rodgers, who used to be his supervisor as a fellow federal Southern District of New York prosecutor. The actress’s tweet was accompanied by a photo of Harvey Weinstein, Epstein and Maxwell standing side-by-side with red x’s over their faces.

Who’s Afraid of Ghislaine Maxwell? Everyone on This List

Ghislaine Maxwell Reportedly Prepared to Out ‘Big Names’; Prince Andrew ‘Bewildered’ After Maxwell Arrest

Ghislaine Maxwell, a longtime associate and confidante of the late Jeffrey Epstein, could reportedly start airing out dirty laundry and “naming some big names” in an attempt to help out her own case following her arrest on multiple charges, Page Six reports. The charges include conspiracy to entice minors to travel to engage in illegal sex acts, enticement of a minor to travel to engage in illegal sex acts, conspiracy to transport minors with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity, and transportation of a minor with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity

“She’s going to be naming some big names — not only in terms of those who abused underage girls at Epstein’s parties — but also those who made financial agreements with Epstein or benefited from his generosity, including flying on his plane and staying at his homes,” Steven Hoffenberg, a former business associate of Epstein, told Page Six.

Prince Andrew ‘Bewildered’ After Maxwell Arrest

By AFP. Prince Andrew is “bewildered” by claims he is not cooperating with the US investigation into the alleged sex trafficking of minors by British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell and the late financier Jeffrey Epstein, his legal team said Friday.

The daughter of the late newspaper baron Robert Maxwell is believed to have introduced Andrew to Epstein — a convicted paedophile — and US authorities want to speak to the prince about their relationship. . .

He has since faced claims from US prosecutors that he is running shy of giving his version of events.

“The duke’s team remains bewildered given that we have twice communicated with the DOJ in the last month and to date we have had no response,” an unnamed source on his legal team was quoted as saying by the Press Association news agency.

Curiously, Jeffrey Epstein’s girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell, is connected to Alaska and its troubled Senator, Lisa Murkowski. Alice Rogoff, perhaps Murkowski’s biggest political supporter second only to VECO’s convicted felon, CEO Bill Allen, was a close friend of Maxwell’s. The former publisher of the Anchorage Dispatch News and ex-wife of the Carlyle Group’s billionaire David Rubenstein attended many Alaskan events with Maxwell including the Iditarod. They were involved with Artic Circle events, and Maxwell was reportedly hiding out with one of Murkowski’s close associates just a few months ago.

Why Maxwell was so involved with Alaska and close associates of Alaska’s senior senator is anyone’s guess. And isn’t it strange that the former VECO CEO, Lisa Murkowski’s biggest donor source for years, was also apparently involved in child sex trafficking in Alaska? Many suspect that federal-informant Allen was using the underage girls to compromise Alaska legislators. Multiple state legislators, most (if not all) colleagues and friends of Lisa Murkowski, were ultimately convicted of bribery connected with the Bill Allen corruption scandal.

Maxwell Arrested in New Hampshire Estate

By Fox Business. Ghislaine Maxwell was hiding out in a $1 million New Hampshire estate before authorities arrested her Thursday on charges of trafficking minors for sex and perjury, DailyMail.com reported.

Maxwell, the former girlfriend of Jeffrey Epstein who’s accused of recruiting and grooming underage girls for abuse, was living in a luxurious home called Tuckedaway she bought last year near Bradford, New Hampshire, according to the report. The gated property sits on a hilltop up a steep dirt road.

The home and its secluded 156-acre property sold for $1.07 million in December, according to Zillow. The 4,635-square-foot timber frame home includes four bedrooms, four bathrooms and “is an amazing retreat for the nature lover who also wants total privacy,” according to former listing details.

The 2002-built home includes a large fireplace, cathedral ceiling and an open concept floorplan, according to the defunct listing. It’s got a ground floor master suite. There’s also a separate two-bedroom guest house “with a fabulous barn for hoedowns, square dances and hay rides.”

All the Places Ghislaine Maxwell Was Rumored to Be Laying Low

By New York Post. The reports of Ghislaine Maxwell’s whereabouts have been greatly exaggerated. . .

She was rumored to be shacking up with modeling mogul Jean-Luc Brunel in Brazil, as far off as New Zealand and Israel, and in March filed a legal claim in the US Virgin Islands for a piece of Epstein’s estate.

Rumors swirled that she popped up in Paris last month, and a photo emerged in August of her reportedly at a Los Angeles fast-food joint following Epstein’s arrest in July on federal sex trafficking charges in New York. . .

Britain’s Mirror said in February that a wild new theory suggested that Maxwell was hiding out in a submarine, reporting that she has a license to pilot “submersible vehicles.”

Judge Orders Virginia Giuffre’s Lawyers to ‘Destroy’ Their Jeffrey Epstein Files

A federal court in New York City has moved to further restrict access to long-sought-after secret files in the Jeffrey Epstein saga. In a Wednesday order, Senior U.S. District Judge Loretta Preska determined that attorneys for Epstein survivor Virginia Roberts Giuffre had improperly gained access to many of those highly-prized documents.

Preska determined that certain discovery materials covered by a years-old protective order “are not properly in possession” of Giuffre’s current legal team and “thus must be destroyed.” That means that they can’t have copies of the documents in question; it does not mean that all copies of the documents will be deleted from existence. Additionally, the law firm of Cooper & Kirk must provide “an affidavit detailing the steps that it took to destroy the materials.”

The ruling was also a setback for Harvard Law professor emeritus and former Epstein attorney Alan Dershowitz, who has repeatedly sought access to the full tranche of Epstein files and discovery materials. . .

At issue here are two separate legal controversies: (1) a protective order issued in 2015 by Judge Robert W. Sweet in a since-settled defamation case between Giuffre and Epstein’s alleged groomer and girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell; and (2) a more recent series of extant defamation, back-and-forth claims between Giuffre and Dershowitz.

The Giuffre v. Maxwell protective order is the major legal lock-and-key which has long-protected the Epstein files. A process is currently underway for both sides to sift through those documents and eventually make many of them available for public consumption.
