President Biden said Monday that French President Emmanuel Macron didn’t take his call to congratulate the French leader on his election night victory.

Mr. Biden said he spoke with Mr. Macron’s staff when he tried to reach the French president Sunday night and he’ll try again Monday.

“I feel good about the French election,” Mr. Biden told reporters after returning to Washington from a weekend trip in Delaware. “I tried to talk to him last night. I spoke to his staff and he was at the Eiffel Tower having a good time. Federal Judge Temporarily Halts Biden’s Attempt to Terminate Title 42

A federal district court judge in Louisiana has granted the Republican attorneys general of more than one dozen states a temporary restraining order (TRO) against the Biden administration, requiring — for now at least — the administration to keep Title 42 in place.

As Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich noted in the successful motion for a TRO — joined by the attorneys general of Louisiana, Missouri, Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Kansas, Kentucky, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, West Virginia and Wyoming:

…the Defendant Department of Homeland Security (“DHS”) and its Defendant subagencies are partially implementing the Termination Order already. Yesterday, a major media outlet reported that “Border Patrol is not using the Title 42 public health order to remove many migrants from the Northern Triangle countries of Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador, more than a month before the Biden administration lifts the order altogether,” according to “multiple Border Patrol sources.” DHS seems to admit it partially ended Title 42, on the basis that return flights to “certain non-contiguous countries” take too long to schedule. But DHS previously returned aliens to Mexico when flights were limited, and such action is the only one that aligns with public health harms detailed in the Title 42 Order, which is still in place. Thus, while Title 42 may be “technically still in place,” the reality on the ground is that DHS “has largely stopped using Title 42 to remove migrants from Northern Triangle countries, and is instead processing them via Title 8 and expedited removal.”

“This Court should issue a TRO immediately and require DHS to explain its actions so that the States and this Court can take appropriate actions in response to what may (or may not) be some highly inappropriate actions by DHS that directly undermine this Court’s authority to remedy the harms that the challenged agency action would occasion,” the AG’s motion requested. Joe Biden Met With Hunter Biden Business Partner at the White House at LEAST 19 Times

By New York Post. Hunter Biden’s closest business partner made at least 19 visits to the White House and other official locations between 2009 and 2015, including a sitdown with then-Vice President Joe Biden in the West Wing.

Visitor logs from the White House of former President Barack Obama reviewed by The Post cast further doubt over Joe Biden’s claims that he knew nothing of his son’s dealings.

Eric Schwerin met with Vice President Biden on November 17, 2010 in the West Wing, when he was the president of the since-dissolved investment fund Rosemont Seneca Partners.

The logs also reveal that Schwerin met with various close aides of both Joe and Jill Biden at key moments in Hunter’s life when he was striking multi-million dollar deals in foreign countries, including China. Yet President Biden has long insisted he had no involvement in his son’s foreign affairs. “I have never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings,” he said in 2019.

”Not everyone gets to meet the Vice President of the United States in the White House. The press should be asking why Hunter Biden’s business associates — like Eric Schwerin — had that privilege and were given access to the Obama White House,” said Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wisconsin). “This is additional evidence that Joe Biden lied when he said he never discussed Hunter’s foreign business dealings. It’s well past time for the corporate media to demand the truth from Joe Biden. ‘It Reeks of Pay-To-Play’: Joe Biden and His Staff Met With Hunter’s Top Business Partner at the White House Throughout His Vice Presidency, Visitor Logs Reveal

By Daily Mail. Hunter Biden’s top business partner had met with then-vice President Joe Biden in one of 19 visits he made to the White House between 2009 and 2015, according to visitor logs from the Obama administration.

Eric Schwerin, former president of Hunter’s now-dissolved firm Rosemont Seneca, met with Biden on November 17, 2010, just as Hunter was striking multi-million dollar deals abroad, the New York Post reported.

The logs revealed that Schwerin made a total of 19 visits to the White House during Biden’s vice presidency, with nine of those visits including meetings with Biden, members of his staff and members of Jill Biden’s staff.

Texas Senator Ted Cruz, a vocal critic of the Bidens, told the Post that the logs were the latest evidence of Hunter using his father to secure business deals and called on the Bidens to be investigated for corruption.

‘It’s increasingly obvious that Hunter Biden’s business revolved around providing access to his father and the highest levers of power,’ Cruz said. ‘It reeks of pay-to-play. Biden’s Decline Is Obvious to Everyone but the Press

Something is wrong with President Joe Biden, and everyone knows it. . .

On Friday, Biden tried to comment on Florida’s new Parental Rights in Education law and came out with this word salad: “There’s nothing conservative about deciding you’re going to throw Disney out of its present posture because Mickey Mouse? In fact, do you think we should be not be able to say, you know, ‘gay’? I mean, what’s going on here?”

What is going on here, indeed? Is the president OK? He doesn’t seem like it.

On Easter Sunday, a reporter at the White House asked Biden about Afghanistan. As he started answering the question, a staffer in an Easter bunny costume appeared, waving her arms in front of Biden’s face and ushering him along to a different part of the event.

It’s funny, sure, but it’s also kind of scary. Who is really running the show at the White House? The president often makes comments about what he’s “allowed” to say, how many press questions he’s permitted to take and which specific reporters he can call on. Who is making these decisions? Biden’s Quarterly Job Approval Is Lowest for Any Democrat Since WWII

President Biden, despite holding control of the executive branch of U.S. government and his party having (albeit slim) majorities in both chambers of Congress, he hasn’t been able to achieve many campaign promises nor respond to new crises that have arisen. And despite the cover given to Biden and Democrats by big tech and the mainstream media, Biden’s approval numbers continue to sit drowning underwater. The latest Gallup quarterly approval polling average puts things in perspective among other presidents at this point in their presidencies:

During Joe Biden’s fifth quarter in office, which began on January 20 and ended on April 19, an average of 41.3% of U.S. adults approved of the job he was doing as president. The latest average is essentially unchanged from the 41.7% in his fourth quarter but significantly lower than his first three quarterly averages.

From a historical perspective, Biden’s fifth quarter average is lower than that of any prior elected president, except Donald Trump. Trump averaged 39.1% during his fifth quarter. Although their fifth quarter average approval ratings were at least five percentage points higher than Biden’s, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan and Barack Obama join Trump and Biden in averaging less than majority approval at this stage of their presidencies.

Six of the 11 post-World War II presidents elected to their first term in office had fifth quarter averages above 50%, including three who were above 70%.

So, other than former President Donald Trump — who had the entire media and big tech industrial complex against him as Democrats were engaged in their Russian collusion hoax narrative — Joe Biden has the lowest approval for this period in his presidency of any president since World War II. That means he’s the most unpopular Democrat president in generations, and a bad spot to find himself in as he’s supposed to lead his party to wins in November’s midterm elections. Biden Says ‘We’re Spending Billions’ to Make US Military Fleet Climate-Friendly

There’s a green future in store for the United States military, according to remarks President Joe Biden made on Earth Day.

During a wide-ranging speech in Washington state, Biden envisioned a future in which the entire military fleet is environmentally friendly.

“We’re going to start the process for every vehicle in the United States military, every vehicle is going to be climate-friendly,” Biden said. “Every vehicle. I mean it. We’re spending billions of dollars to do it.”

Prior to the statement, Biden noted the vast spending power of his office.

‘Let’s Go Brandon’ Easter Bunny Greets Joe Biden in Seattle

President Joe Biden was greeted in Seattle Friday by a protester who mocked him for getting confronted by the Easter Bunny earlier this week.

A woman holding a large Easter Bunny head shouted, “Where’s the Bunny?” when the presidential motorcade passed and then shouted, “Let’s go Brandon!” along the street.

One reporter traveling with the president recorded a video of the incident and shared it on social media.

Even Some Democrats Are Sounding Alarm on Biden’s Imminent Move at the Border

Democratic Michigan Rep. Elissa Slotkin and Democratic Virginia Rep. Abigail Spanberger sent a letter Tuesday to President Joe Biden’s administration expressing their concern about the border crisis, saying he should delay the decision to lift Title 42.

The letter was sent by the two Democrats to Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy Susan Rice. In it, the two lawmakers shared reasons why they believe Title 42 should not yet be lifted by the Biden administration, saying they want to avoid a humanitarian and security crisis.

Tile 42 is a public health measure issued in response to the COVID-19 pandemic that allows the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to rapidly expel migrants on public health grounds.

“Given our backgrounds in national security, we know the Executive Branch is accustomed to planning for contingencies, and it is for this reason that we submit to you the below requests for actions to be taken before the administration lifts the Title 42 order, so that we prevent a humanitarian and security crisis,” the lawmakers wrote in the letter obtained first by Fox News.

“We are concerned about how DHS will contend with an increase of people — including children and families — that will more than triple the department’s capacity without ample and robust planning,” the lawmakers added. “And while the administration gave itself two months to prepare, what has been shared with us to date seems like too little, too late — especially when the removal of Title 42 will occur at the same time that a spike in seasonal migration occurs.” (Read more from “Even Some Democrats Are Sounding Alarm on Biden’s Imminent Move at the Border” HERE)

Clueless Joe Biden Bungles Question About Extending Title 42

President Joe Biden appeared clueless when asked about extending the Center for Disease Control’s (CDC) Title 42 measure on Thursday at the White House.

Instead of talking about Title 42, the president began talking about the ongoing legal appeal from the Justice Department challenging a judicial order overruling the CDC’s mask mandate on airplanes.

“Because as a matter of principle, we want to be able to be in a position where if in fact it is strongly concluded by the scientists that we need Title 42 that we’d be able to do that,” Biden said, when asked if he was considering extending the authorities beyond the scheduled expiration date in May.

“There has been no position on extending Title 42,” he concluded.

Reporters soon realized the president had mixed up the talking points about the mask mandate and used them to talk about Title 42.

US a ‘Co-Belligerent’ in Ukraine War, Legal Expert Says

Conversations over the past week with current and former US officials about whether, to their knowledge, there is any real debate inside President Joe Biden’s administration over the approach it is taking in Ukraine has produced only slight variations of the same answer: “Not really.”

As of now, what the Biden policy amounts to is a replay along the lines of president Franklin D Roosevelt’s policy toward the war in Europe from 1939 to December 1941, during which the US was a co-belligerent all but in name.

In their public statements, Biden and his Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin seem intent on obfuscating the true extent of American involvement. A story in the defense-industry-sponsored Politico quoted unnamed US officials as saying “military options in Ukraine aren’t on the table – echoing Biden’s repeated position of not wanting to spark World War III.” . . .

But US involvement goes deeper than arms sales and intelligence sharing. A Pentagon official who requested anonymity told me it is “likely we have a limited footprint on the ground in Ukraine, but under Title 50, not Title 10,” meaning US intelligence operatives and paramilitaries – but not regular military.
