Zelensky Calls on Biden to Visit Ukraine: ‘Come Here to See’

Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky called on President Biden to visit Ukraine to “come here to see” the devastation caused by Russian forces.

In an interview with CNN’s “State of the Union” that aired Sunday, Zelensky was asked if there were any plans for Biden to visit the country.

“I think he will. I mean, it’s his decision, of course,” Zelensky told anchor Jake Tapper on Friday. “And about the safety situation, it depends. I mean that. But I think he’s the leader of the United States, and that’s why he should come here to see.”

Biden previously told reporters during a visit to Poland last month that he wanted to visit the war-torn country but claimed others were preventing him.

“They will not let me, understandably, I guess, cross the border and take a look at what’s going on in Ukraine,” Biden said at a briefing on humanitarian operations in Rzeszow, southeastern Poland, without clarifying who was holding him back. Biden, 79, had just finished delivering a nearly 40-minute speech at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in Greensboro when he turned toward stage right with his paw outstretched in a handshake position.

There was no one else on stage and no one from the applauding crowd approached the president to exchange the pleasantry, according to footage of the event.

The 79-year-old president claimed before the handshake fiasco that he had served as a ‘full professor’ at the University of Pennsylvania despite never teaching a class at the school, in yet another gaffe that has Republicans questioning Biden’s cognitive abilities. . .

The speech also saw Biden bizarrely claim that he used to be a ‘full professor’ at the University of Pennsylvania.

‘I’ve been at a lot of university campuses, matter of fact for four years, I was a full professor at the University of Pennsylvania.’

Biden, from nearby Delaware, was named Benjamin Franklin Presidential Practice Professor, the first person to hold the role, in 2017. He did not teach regular classes but made about a dozen public appearances on the campus, mostly at big-ticketed events, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. He collected a pay check in 2017, 2018 and early 2019. ‘I Don’t Need Your Business’: Restaurant Owner Tells ‘Ignorant’ Biden Supporters to Dine Elsewhere

A Georgia restaurant owner posted a notice on the establishment’s window slamming President Joe Biden and his “ignorant” supporters and attributed the rise in supply costs and shortage of workers for his restaurant to the policies implemented by the Biden administration.

The sign, posted outside of an Appalachian Grill restaurant in Cartersville, Georgia, was initially shared Sunday in a Reddit forum before going viral on several social media platforms.

The notice instructed Biden voters who have no regrets about their vote in the 2020 election to take their business somewhere else.

“If you voted for Brandon’s Build Back BS and don’t have remorse or regrets I wish you would leave, I don’t need your business,” the notice read. Your ignorant, naive decision has more than doubled our costs of goods and depleted our labor force by more than triple.”

Uh-Oh: Top Biden Pollster Warns ‘Most Americans Are Pissed’

President Joe Biden’s chief pollster John Anzalone warned Democrats about major electoral problems going into the 2022 midterms in an interview released Friday, although he believes that they can still avoid major losses.

Anzalone, who also worked on Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign, has previously warned of Biden’s low approval rating overall and among Hispanic voters in particular. He told Politico’s Ryan Lizza that voters are unhappy with the Democrats’ lack of action on key issues such as inflation and health care.

“Voters are very much in ‘What have you done for me lately?’ They always are. And they don’t feel Democrats can get their shit together and get things done,” Anzalone said.

“So if we’re able to do something — a skinny BBB or whatever — on health insurance costs, prescription drug costs, elderly care, childcare, that’s a big deal because it will give Democrats a competitive advantage on what they’re doing for working families. And it’ll cut through the inflation narrative, the Ukraine narrative, the Afghan narrative, the border narrative, etc.,” he continued.

White House Annoyed by ‘Cannibalistic’ Democrats Criticizing Joe Biden on Inflation

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki on Thursday expressed her frustrations with fellow Democrats for criticizing President Joe Biden on inflation.

Psaki spoke about what the White House was doing on inflation during a live taping of Pod Save America, a podcast run by former aides for President Barack Obama.

She urged Democrats and the hosts of the podcast to “do better” when talking about the issue.

“Oftentimes we get a little cannibalistic about what our own plans are and whether they are good enough or whether we are passing them fast enough or what have you,” Psaki said.

A growing number of activists continue criticizing Biden for not doing enough on the issue, particularly after his efforts to convince more moderate Democrat senators to vote for his multitillion-dollar spending agenda failed. Biden Plays Role in Report on Ukraine War Propaganda

Joe Biden has appeared prominently in an international organization’s new report on the “propaganda” being used in connection with the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

He’s been dinged for trying to blame his own domestic inflation problem – it’s worse now for American consumers than it has been for more than 40 years – on Russian President Vladimir Putin, who made the decisions to send his army into Ukraine and kill innocent civilians.

The report comes from the Middle East Media Research Institute, which, under the title “The Latest Propaganda War,” talks about how the Ukrainians have been aided in their “messaging,” which encompasses legacy media, social media and more, “by a powerful and indisputable reality, that they were attacked and are defending themselves.”

“The Ukrainians have been very effective in doing the hard work of propaganda, churning out content, capturing the news cycle, carrying out ‘strategic communications, psychological operations,'” the report explained. “In a war, the best content is victory, but if that is not always available, anything will do: compelling anecdotal stories, the other side’s abuses and war crimes, dramatic statements, content that inspires, content that demonizes. All of it has a role to play.” . . .

But it noted a third player in the propaganda fracas: “A Biden administration that is deeply unpopular and fighting for its domestic political life has tried to shift blame for the American inflation building over the past year onto Putin,” the report said. President Joe Biden and his aides are deliberating whether he should send a senior administration official or delegation to Ukraine as a show of support amid the Russian invasion.

“We’re making that decision now,” Biden told reporters at Joint Base Andrews Thursday before boarding Air Force One for North Carolina.

A reporter followed up, asking whether Biden himself was “ready to go.” “Yeah,” Biden replied.

Putin Shrugs off Financial Sanctions as Ruble Rebounds

Vladimir Putin’s Russia is earning more from its energy exports than it was before it invaded Ukraine, and the ruble has bounced back to its prewar value. Tell us again about those “crippling” sanctions.

Yes, President Joe Biden on Friday signed two bills expanding US financial restrictions on Russia, and National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan says, “We will keep working on additional ways to deny them revenue.”

But none of it can hit that hard as long as Western Europe, utterly dependent on Russia’s oil and gas, can’t stop buying it. And the war has roiled markets enough to spike prices, so Bloomberg Economics anticipates Russia will earn about $320 billion from energy exports this year, up more than a third from 2021.

The United States can’t force Germany et al to start exploiting their own energy resources (though European voters can, and should). But America can steal Russia’s export markets, if Washington is willing to stop suppressing US energy production and start supporting it. ‘Now I’m Pissed’ Secret Service Agents Outraged by White House Spin Over First Dog Bites

Secret Service agents were outraged last year by the White House’s attempt to downplay bite injuries caused by then-first dog Major — even trying to get President Biden to personally pay for a damaged coat, newly released documents show.

Secret Service leaders also sought to keep attack details out of official paperwork — at one point rejecting an agent’s “excessively detailed” account to avoid upsetting the first family — after Major bit agents on eight consecutive days.

The records, released in response to a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit by Judicial Watch, show that attacks occurred both earlier and later than previously known. . .

The March 8 bite actually was the final attack in an eight-day streak and the wounded agent — whose injuries were categorized as “severe” by a colleague — fumed about Psaki’s spin.

Bidenflation Causes Divided Democrats to Unite Against Joe Biden

President Biden’s 40-year-high inflation has caused divided Democrats to unite against him.

The far-left and blue dog Democrats are pointing figures at Biden for massive inflation. Biden has attempted to redirect the blame to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, but his misdirection play has not worked.

“Putin’s invasion of Ukraine has driven up gas prices and food prices all over the world,” Biden claimed in Iowa on Tuesday. “So everything is going up. We saw it in today’s inflation data.”

Biden’s claim that inflation is only a result of Putin’s actions is incorrect. Inflation was climbing well before “Putin’s price hike.”

Biden’s attempts to make Putin a scapegoat for inflation have not distracted Democrats from targeting Biden for mismanaging the economy, albeit from different perspectives.
