Biden Admin Silent on Major Natural Gas Pipeline as Energy Prices Soar

The Biden administration has yet to take a public position on a major natural gas pipeline as the project faces an uphill federal permitting battle.

Equitrans Midstream, the energy company that proposed the Mountain Valley Pipeline (MVP) in 2014, delayed the project’s expected completion to late 2023 and said it would pursue new federal permits for a second time, in an earnings report published Tuesday. The project — a 303-mile pipeline that would transport natural gas from West Virginia to Virginia — faced another setback earlier this year after a federal appeals court struck down its Trump-era permits, ruling in favor of environmental groups.

Federal agencies involved in the MVP permitting process didn’t respond to requests for comment or declined to comment altogether, and the White House has yet to intervene in the matter despite soaring energy prices and pleas from a Democratic senator.

“After engaging with the federal agencies and evaluating all options, we believe the best path forward for MVP’s completion is to pursue new permits,” Thomas Karam, the chairman and CEO of Equitrans, said in a statement Tuesday. “To reflect the time required for permit re-issuance and to ensure safe, responsible project construction, we have revised our MVP in-service target to the second half of 2023.”

The total project cost of the pipeline has increased to $6.6 billion, the company added in its earnings report. The MVP pipeline was originally projected to begin operations in 2018 and the total cost has doubled since the project was unveiled, Bloomberg reported. You can now officially file President Joe Biden’s claim that he’s “never spoken” to his son Hunter about his business activities with his claims that inflation is “transitory” and the border is “under control.”

The Post reported that Joe allegedly agreed to pay more than $800,000 in legal bills Hunter racked up, including bills related to his overseas businesses. This comes on the heels of revelations that Hunter alleged his father was taking half his salary.

It would be literally impossible to set up these arrangements without talking business. So the prez has been outright lying. Just as Hunter’s business partner Tony Bobulinski said months ago.

Want more evidence? Consider The Post’s revelation of the direct sit-down Joe had as veep with another Hunter partner, Eric Schwerin, then serving as president of investment fund Rosemont Seneca Partners.

We still don’t know what they discussed. Or what was said on the (at least) 19 occasions Schwerin visited the White House and other official locations from 2009 to 2015. Asked about these shady details, chief Biden flack Jen Psaki responded: “I don’t have any information on that.” The future MSNBC star doesn’t want to know. Joe Biden Used Alias of KGB Spy From Tom Clancy Novels, Emails From Hunter’s Laptop Show

By New York Post. Joe Biden wrote to his son Hunter and others close to him using the pseudonym “Peter Henderson” – a fictional Soviet Union-era spy in several Tom Clancy novels who infiltrated the US government, emails show.

The messages contained on Hunter’s abandoned laptop appear to indicate the then-VP started using the fictitious mole’s moniker in October 2016 while forwarding a YouTube video to his son Hunter, brother Jim, daughter-in-law Hallie, as well as his sister and longtime political strategist Valerie Biden Owens.

Biden sent the message using an email address with a username of “67stingray” — a clear reference to his beloved 1967 Corvette Stingray.

The name attached to Biden’s “67stingray” account at the time was “Peter Henderson” – which matches the name of the KGB spy in Clancy’s popular Jack Ryan series, according to online fan pages.

Henderson, whose codename was Cassius in Clancy’s realm, worked as a “minor Senate aide” in 1970 before becoming a Russian spy who was later caught by the CIA and turned into a double agent. Ex-Biden Aide Francis Person Went to White House 7 Times After Joining China-Tied Firm

By New York Post. One of Joe Biden’s closest aides as vice president, who later joined a Washington-based firm founded by an executive with ties to China’s Communist Party and did deals with Biden’s son Hunter — visited the White House at least seven times over a two-year period.

Francis Person — better known as “Franny” to the Biden family, whom Jill Biden has said is “like a son” to her and Joe — visited the White House multiple times in 2015 and 2016, including a holiday reception in December 2015 with Chinese executive Bo Zhang, official logs viewed by The Post show.

Person, who left his role as then-Vice President Biden’s personal aide in 2014, went on to work with Hunter Biden and his business partner Eric Schwerin in deals with the Harves Group and later became president of the Washington-based firm.

The linkage between someone so enmeshed at one time in President Biden’s inner circle and his son’s business dealings comes amid fresh scrutiny of what if any knowledge the elder Biden has had of his son’s overseas dealings. Democrats’ ‘New’ Midterm Strategy Will Probably Usher in GOP Rule

President Biden’s approval ratings are in the tank, gas prices are soaring, inflation is the highest it’s been in decades, the border crisis worsens by the day and Democrats aren’t pursuing policies that would help any of these matters. That’s why their midterm strategy is focused on Donald Trump.

President Joe Biden and fellow Democrats have struggled to overcome historical headwinds and worrisome economic trends in the lead-up to the midterms.

So aides are scheming up something else: Turning the campaign into a contrast with Donald Trump and the Republicans.

President Joe Biden and his team are hoping to spend the spring and summer months drawing sharp distinctions with Republicans, one in particular. They still plan to push forth revived pieces of stalled agenda. But they’re also eagerly awaiting potentially explosive findings from the Jan. 6 select committee and hope those discoveries can inflame a battle brewing within the GOP over former Trump’s legacy and power. Joe Biden Brain Freeze: There’s ‘Never Been’ a ‘Senator’ From Delaware (VIDEO)

President Joe Biden made another rhetorical blunder in a speech at the White House Monday, claiming there had never been a senator from the state of Delaware.

“There have not been many senators from Delaware. It’s a small state. As a matter of fact, there’s never been one,” Biden said.

The president was likely trying to recall the fact that there has never been a United States president from the state of Delaware.

Biden Laughing at Trevor Noah’s Remarks on Suffering of Americans Is Not a Great Look

Trevor Noah, host of “The Daily Show,” headlined Saturday night’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner, after President Joe Biden gave his own remarks. Many of the jokes were true, as was also the case with the president’s remarks, specifically as he poked fun at himself with his low approval ratings. When it came time for Noah to reference how the American people are hurting from high costs across the board, Biden’s reaction really drew responses, for all the wrong reasons.

“I think ever since you came into office, things are really looking up, you know. Gas is up, rent is up, food is up, everything.” The camera panned to Biden’s reaction, which wasn’t a simple chuckle, but some hearty laughter.

The next day, on Sunday afternoon, Joe Biden’s personal account tweeted a pitiful attempt of trying to convince Americans that “I’m focused on doing everything I can to lower the cost of gas and energy and accelerate our transition to clean energy.”

What Has Murkowski’s Vote for Deb Haaland Done for Alaska?

Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski was one of four Republican senators to cross party lines last year to vote for President Joe Biden’s activist pick to lead the Department of the Interior, New Mexico Rep. Deb Haaland. More than 13 months after Haaland’s confirmation, Alaskans are paying the price for Murkowski’s approval. . .

Upon completing her first trip to Alaska, Secretary Haaland left with a “parting gift” of more Washington restrictions, declaring that millions more acres that were once open to oil and gas exploration would be locked under environmental regulation.

On Monday, the Interior Department’s Bureau of Land Management, which is now run by an ecoterrorist, announced it would reverse Trump-era efforts to expand oil and gas operations in Alaska’s National Petroleum Reserve, shutting off 7 million acres from development despite today’s urgent need to drill. . .

At this point, however, the announcement should come as no surprise. In October, the Biden administration decided to let stand a judge’s ruling to strip permits for the Willow Project in the same reserve. Approved under President Donald Trump in 2020, the 30-year plan from ConocoPhillips to develop five drilling sites would have been the largest single extraction project on federal land. . .

Poll: 67% Want Joe Biden Impeached if Hunter’s Corruption Proved

Hunter Biden already is under investigation, apparently for some of his questionable international business deals that likely were done while his father, Joe, was vice president. . .

But if that happens, there could be ripples for not just Hunter Biden, but Joe Biden, too, according to a new poll. . .

The Independent Women’s Voice posted online the results of a poll that show 67% of Americans say Joe Biden should be impeached if Hunter Biden’s corruption is proven.

A full 60% of the respondents said what Hunter Biden was doing, in fact, was selling access to Joe Biden.

“A whopping 67% of registered voters said they believe Hunter Biden selling access to his father is an impeachable offense for President Biden, according to new polling by Harvard University’s Center for American Political Studies (CAPS) and Harris, a firm run by Democrat Mark Penn,” the report explained. Liar, Liar: Times Joe Biden Deflected, Denied Involvement in Corrupt Family Business

President Joe Biden or his communications team have denied outright, and deflected questions about, involvement in Hunter’s corrupt family business at least seven times.

Despite the deflections and claims that Biden has had no role in the family business, 12 instances indicate Joe and his team have lied. Most recently, reported White House visitor logs show Joe Biden met with Hunter’s business partner in 2010. Twenty-six additional records show Hunter’s business partner visited the White House to meet with Joe Biden’s staff. . .

“I’ve never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings. Here’s what I know — I know Trump deserves to be investigated,” he said. “You should be looking at Trump. Trump’s doing this because he knows I’ll beat him like a drum.” . . .

“I have not taken a penny from any foreign source, ever, in my life,” Biden said, referring to Hunter Biden’s role on the board of the Ukrainian energy company during a presidential debate. “Nothing was unethical.”

“It’s a smear campaign because he has nothing he wants to talk about. What is he running on? What is he running on?” Joe Biden deflected during an interview on CBS’s 60 Minutes.

Hunter to Brother’s Widow After Affair: ‘Get Tested for HIV’; More Secrets From Laptop From Hell

By Breitbart. The “smartest man” His Fraudulency Joe Biden knows had an affair with his brother’s widow and then urged her to get tested for HIV.

The New York Post reports that Hunter Biden was desperately insisting his brother’s widow, Hallie Biden, get herself tested for HIV as their affair limped to its conclusion in July of 2018.

The emails, which were found on the laptop the “smartest man” Joe Biden knows left in a Delaware computer shop and lost ownership of, show a frantic Hunter Biden “scared sick” about HIV.

“TODAY. I am getting tested today. I have been sick scared Hallie and you [hang] up on me,” Hunter wrote. “You need to inform me of the result.” He added, “The love you give is so disturbing.”

Hunter Biden Urged Brother’s Widow to Get Tested for HIV During Their Affair

By New York Post. . .Hunter also accused Hallie of being detrimental to his mental health and trying to drive a wedge between him and niece Natalie some three years after his brother, Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden, died of brain cancer at 46. . .

Hunter went on to ask Hallie to “stop the bulls–t” regarding his niece, accusing his sister-in-law of trying to “turn” the young teen against him. . .

Just weeks earlier, the couple had viciously argued in emails – with Hallie accusing Hunter of calling her “incessantly” only to “block” her when she got back to him, according to emails obtained by The Post.

“Please calm down Hallie and focus on your sobriety,” Hunter replied on July 15, 2018. “The tone you’re using with me is so angry. You aren’t a bad person Hal just because you’ve done bad things, you can do this without having to attack me or Natalie or whomever else you might see as the reason for you’re [sic] problems. Focus on you and know that you and only you will determine whether or not you can get sober for real.”

Hallie then accused Hunter of not getting a “day of sobriety yet” while thanking him for the “passive aggressive a–hole email” and not answering her original question on whether he was attending a funeral. Psaki: Biden Still Claims Ignorance of Hunter’s Deals Despite New Reports (VIDEO)

Despite the newly reported evidence from visitor log files that Joe Biden met with one of Hunter Biden’s key business partners in the White House, Press Secretary Jen Psaki said Tuesday that the president stands by his statement that he has never discussed his son’s business dealings with him or with his son’s partners.

The question was posed to Psaki by Fox News reporter Jacqui Heinrich during the daily briefing after the New York Post reported Hunter Biden’s closest business partner, Eric Schwerin, made at least 19 visits to the White House, including a sitdown with then-Vice President Joe Biden in the West Wing. Days before the report was published last week, the Post reported Wikipedia deleted its entry for the investment company co-founded by Schwerin and the president’s son, Rosemont Seneca Partners. Rosemont was the company in the $1 billion equity deal with the state-owned Bank of China that Hunter Biden negotiated during his trip to Beijing with his father in 2013 via Air Force Two.
