By Fox News. President Biden said that there has been “no shift” in his commitment to Israel and that the Democratic Party still supports the Jewish state, despite heated and sometimes vitriolic criticism of Israel over the past ten days by progressives.

Biden was asked in a news conference Friday with South Korean President Moon Jae-In what his “message to Democrats who want you to be more confrontational with Israel.”

“My party still supports Israel,” Biden said. “Until the region says unequivocally they acknowledge the right of Israel to exist as an independent Jewish state, there will be no peace.”

He again called for a two-state solution in the region. “There is no shift in my commitment to the security of Israel. Period. No shift, not at all. But I’ll tell you what there is a shift in. The shift is that, we still need a two-state solution. It is the only answer. Biden Fails to Condemn Antisemitic Attacks by Pro-Palestinian Activists Nationwide

By Breitbart. Jewish groups wrote to President Joe Biden on Friday as he failed to speak out against a wave of antisemitic violence across the nation, as pro-Palestinian activists targeted a synagogue, attacked pro-Israel protesters, and assaulted innocent bystanders.

On Sunday, a synagogue near Chicago was vandalized, and a “Freedom for Palestine” poster was found on the grounds. On Tuesday, a mob of pro-Palestinian thugs attacked a group of diners in Los Angeles, in what police are investigating as a hate crime. And on Thursday, pro-Palestinian protesters attacked Jews in Times Square and on 47th Street in New York City.

Biden criticized inter-communal violence between Jews and Arabs in Israel, twice, during a press conference with South Korean President Moon Jae-in (the bulk of which was carried out by Arabs, as reflected in criminal indictments by Israeli police).

NPR: For Left, Palestinian Cause Similar to Black Lives Matter Movement

By Breitbart. National Public Radio (NPR), a taxpayer-funded national news outlet, reported Friday that left-wing Americans are rallying to the Palestinian cause, and against Israel, because they see it “as a power struggle, akin to the movement for Black lives.”

There is no significant racial difference between Palestinians and Israelis. Many Jews have deep roots in Arab countries. Black people in the region tend to be Jewish — namely, Ethiopian Jews, whose community was brought to Israel in recent decades.

But to the American left, for whom “intersectionality” — solidarity across causes — is paramount, Palestinians are “black lives.”

Biden Hails Asian Hate-Crimes Bill but Ignores True Cause Behind Attacks

President Biden on Thursday pounded his podium as he decried crimes targeting Asian Americans before signing a hate-crimes bill crafted in response to a reported rise in violence against Asian Americans during the coronavirus pandemic.

Biden and fellow Democrats have contended the rise is linked to former President Donald Trump’s branding of COVID-19 as the “China virus.” The bill gained momentum after the shooting of eight massage-parlor workers in Atlanta, six of whom were Asian.

But crime data and the many incidents captured on closed-circuit cameras or by bystanders tell a story that establishment media and politicians are unwilling to confront: Most of the perpetrators are not Trump-supporting white supremacists. They are black people who, some sociologists argue, are part of the legacy of Congress trying to make amends for the monstrous sins of slavery and segregation through massive welfare programs that have produced fatherless families.

Biden called the history of mistreatment against the “AAPI community” – Asian American and Pacific Islander – “un-American.” . . .

The legislation aims to expedite the review of hate crimes believed to be related to the pandemic and grant federal funds to local law enforcement to improve reporting of bias-driven incidents. The Justice Department is to designate a point person to assist with the expedited review of COVID-19 hate crimes and expand “linguistically appropriate” public education campaigns. Hunter Emails: Ex-FBI Chief Gave $100K to Biden Grandkid Trust

Former FBI Director Louis Freeh gave $100,000 to a trust for two of President Biden’s grandchildren as he sought to pursue “some very good and profitable matters” with him, newly surfaced emails revealed Thursday.

Freeh apparently made the gift in April 2016 — while Biden was the outgoing vice president — and shortly before he told Biden’s son, Hunter, that “I would be delighted to do future work with you,” according to the emails.

“I also spoke to Dad a few weeks ago and would like to explore with him some future work options,” Freeh wrote on July 8, 2016.

“I believe that working together on these (and other legal) matters would be of value, fun and rewarding.”

Labor Union’s Endorsement for Biden Comes Back to Bite Them

I have no sympathy. You voted for this, guys. This is the country you wanted. You wanted Joe Biden to overhaul the economic agenda. No more mean tweets, but now there’s rising inflation, anemic jobs growth, a border crisis, and a war brewing in the Middle East. Russia has become aggressive again, and China is getting more handsy with Taiwan. But there are no more mean tweets. For those in the steel industry, they’re pleading with Biden to keep the tariffs established under Donald Trump intact (via The Hill):

Seven major groups representing steel producers and workers are urging President Biden to keep tariffs on foreign steel that former President Trump enacted intact.

“The tariffs were necessitated by repeated surges in steel imports driven by global steel overcapacity that threatened our industry and the nearly two million jobs it supports,” the groups, which include the United Steelworkers, Steel Manufacturing Association and American Iron and Steel Institute, among others, wrote in a joint letter to Biden.

Squabble With the ‘Squad’: Biden, Tlaib Have Heated Confrontation on Tarmac After His Arrival in Detroit

President Biden and Democratic Rep. Rashida Tlaib engaged in a tense, roughly eight-minute conversation on the airport tarmac Detroit after Biden’s arrival there Monday.

Tlaib refused to say what she and the president discussed, but at one point Biden patted the congresswoman’s shoulder. Later, during a speech in Dearborn, he lavishly complimented her.

“I want to say to you that I admire your intellect, I admire your passion, and I admire your concern for so many other people. And it’s from my heart,” Biden said later of Tlaib during his speech at the Dearborn Ford factory. “I pray that your Grandma and family are well, I promise to do everything you see that they are in the West Bank.”

“You’re a fighter,” he added, though he mistakenly referred to her as Rasheed. “And God, thank you for being a fighter.”

Trump’s 1776 Commission Combats Biden’s Critical Race Education With Pro-American Curriculum Suggestion

The 1776 Commission, established by President Donald Trump to promote patriotic education, is combatting the Biden administration’s proposed rule to incorporate anti-American and hatemongering curriculum into schools by offering up part of its own report as a public comment for review.

In a letter sent to the Department of Education on Monday, 1776 Commission’s Executive Director Matthew Spalding explained that the Biden administration’s proposed rule not only hides behind the “misleading” term “anti-racism” but it also uses federal dollars to fund “teaching of racial discrimination in America’s elementary and secondary school systems.”

‘The Proposed Rule should be withdrawn, just as individual states, which actually have the authority over the nation’s K-12 educational system, should oppose race-based pedagogy as part of their curricula and even if attempted to be imposed by the federal government,” the letter continues.

Biden Diverts $2B in Healthcare Cash To Illegal Aliens

President Joe Biden has taken $2 billion from Americans’ healthcare programs to help deliver migrant youths and children to their illegal-migrant parents throughout the United States, press reports say.

“The Department of Health and Human Services [HHS] has diverted more than $2 billion meant for other health initiatives toward covering the cost of caring for unaccompanied immigrant children,” Politico reported May 15. The article continued:

The redirected funds include $850 million that Congress originally allocated to rebuild the nation’s Strategic National Stockpile, the emergency medical reserve strained by the Covid-19 response. Another $850 million is being taken from a pot intended to help expand coronavirus testing, according to three people with knowledge of the matter.

In addition to transferring money from the Strategic National Stockpile and Covid-19 testing, HHS also has pulled roughly $436 million from a range of existing health initiatives across the department.

Here’s How Biden’s Spending Could Become A Hidden Tax On Everything You Purchase

As the U.S. climbs out of a once-in-a-century pandemic, rising prices have led to increasing worry that rapid inflation could be just over the horizon. . .

Peter Schiff, the chief economist and global strategist of Euro Pacific Capital, warned in an interview with the DCNF that the “very substantial” decline Americans could witness in their standard of living is a result of heightened federal spending throughout the pandemic.

“People are going to be paying higher insurance, they’re going to be paying higher property taxes, local tax, utility rates are going to go way up,” Schiff said. “The 100% cause of inflation is the government … It’s when the government spends money that it doesn’t collect in taxes and then the Federal Reserve monetizes the resulting deficits by printing money.” . . .

“Trillions of dollars in the United States, over a trillion dollars in the E.U. … That’s what’s behind the inflation we’re seeing right now,” Olsen added. “When the developed world is basically throwing money at something and people, it’s more than people can absorb, and they bid up prices.”

Olsen discussed that since the pandemic largely prevented Americans from spending money on services or taking vacations, they wound up saving money instead, contributing to last year’s decline in prices. A Bureau of Economic Analysis report from April showed that personal income rose 21.1% and spending jumped 4.2% in March as a result of the accelerating rebound from the pandemic, adding more money to the economy aside from the stimulus. Let’s Make a Deal: Biden Meets With GOP to Talk ‘Compromise’ on $2.3T Spend Plan

President Biden on Thursday met with six Senate Republicans to discuss possible compromise on his proposed $2.3 trillion infrastructure bill.

Biden hosted the top Republicans on relevant committees a day after he hosted Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) for the first time.

“I’m prepared to compromise,” said Biden, who was joined by Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo.

“We’ll see if we can work out some — on a compromise on infrastructure. And I know they’re sincere about it, so am I. And what we’re going to try to do is figure out what we can — what constitutes infrastructure from … our perspectives and then see whether or not we’re in a position that — how, how much we want to fund it above the baseline, the baseline meaning what we spent last year,” Biden said. President Joe Biden gave an update on the restart of the Colonial Pipeline Thursday, but warned Americans finding full gas stations and getting back to normal won’t be like “turning on a light switch.”

According to the FBI, the cyberattack on the pipeline was not sanctioned by the Russian government.

“Colonial Pipeline has made substantial progress in safely restarting our pipeline system and can report that product delivery has commenced in a majority of the markets we service. By mid-day today, we project that each market we service will be receiving product from our system. The green segments on this map are operational, meaning product delivery has commenced.
