House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who says she is a faithful member of the Catholic church but openly defies its teaching on abortion, has criticized the San Francisco archbishop who told her not to present herself for Communion.

And then she defied his instructions and took communion in Washington. . .

Now she is on record condemning the archbishop for his biblical teachings.

“Now, our archbishop has been vehemently against LGBTQ rights, too, in fact, he led the way in some of the initiatives on — an initiative on the ballot in California. So this decision, taking us to privacy and precedent, is very dangerous in the lives of so many of the American people,” she charged, according to a report in the Daily Wire. . .

Does the Pope Not Support the Pelosi Communion Ban?

CNN anchor Jim Sciutto claimed on Friday that Pope Francis did not support barring pro-abortion politicians like House Speaker Nancy Pelosi from receiving Communion in the Catholic Church — but that’s not exactly what Pope Francis has said on the matter.

Sciutto shared an article from the San Francisco Chronicle announcing that Archbishop of San Francisco had banned Pelosi from receiving Communion due to her public advocacy for abortion access.

But Pope Francis did not say that he did not support individual pastors making the decision whether or not to deny access to the sacrament in specific cases — in fact, that’s exactly what he told them they must do.

He addressed the issue last September, telling journalists onboard the Papal plane that Catholics who supported abortion were “outside the community” and that the sacrament of Communion was for those who were “in the community,” or not estranged from it.

He argued that pastors should make those decisions themselves — and was careful to note that it was not about condemnation but about caring for them as parishioners. “And what should the pastor do? He shouldn’t go around condemning. Archbishop Prohibits Pelosi From Receiving Holy Communion Over ‘Extreme’ Abortion Stance

San Francisco Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone announced on Friday that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is forbidden to receive Holy Communion because of her increasingly “extreme” pro-abortion views.

Cordileone wrote:

After numerous attempts to speak with her to help her understand the grave evil she is perpetrating, the scandal she is causing, and the danger to her own soul she is risking, I have determined that the point has come in which I must make a public declaration that she is not to be admitted to Holy Communion unless and until she publicly repudiate her support for abortion “rights” and confess and receive absolution for her cooperation in this evil in the sacrament of Penance. I have accordingly sent her a Notification to this effect, which I have now made public.

In his letter, Cordileone said he wrote to Pelosi on April 7, telling her that she must publicly disavow her pro-abortion stance “or else refrain from referring to your Catholic faith in public and receiving Holy Communion, I would have no choice but to make a declaration, in keeping with canon 915, that you are not to be admitted to Holy Communion.” Cordileone said since sending that letter that Pelosi has not abided by his request. He wrote:

Therefore, in light of my responsibility as the Archbishop of San Francisco to be ‘concerned for all the Christian faithful entrusted to [my] care” (Code of Canon Law, can. 383, §1), by means of this communication I am hereby notifying you that you are not to present yourself for Holy Communion and, should you do so, you are not to be admitted to Holy Communion, until such time as you publicly repudiate your advocacy for the legitimacy of abortion and confess and receive absolution of this grave sin in the sacrament of Penance.

Pelosi Unhinged: SCOTUS ‘Dangerous’ to USA!

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that “of course” private companies should provide travel expenses for their employees to receive an abortion in a state where it is legal if Roe v Wade was overturned by the Supreme Court. . .

When asked about Roe v Wade potentially being overturned by the Supreme Court, Pelosi said, “Who would have ever suspected that a creature like Donald Trump would become president of the United States by waving a list of judges he would appoint, therefore, getting the support of the far-right — and appointing those anti-freedom justices to the court. So, this is not about long game. We played a long game. We won Roe v. Wade a long time ago. We voted to protect it over time.”

She continued, “Let’s not take our eye off the ball. The ball is this court, which is dangerous to the freedoms of our country. Beware in terms of marriage equality, beware in terms of other aspects of it, and so it is. Let’s not waste our time on that. The fact is, this is a dangerous court to families, to freedom in our country. And that is why people have to mobilize. My saying is we don’t agonize. Pelosi Rages: Slapped Women in the Face! (VIDEO)

[Nancy] Pelosi said, “I do think that it puts an urgency on what’s happening in the election. Two more- one or two more senators could sweep back the filibuster rule for this purpose, and then women would have a right to choose. This is about something so serious and so personal and so disrespectful of women. Here we are on Mother’s Day, a week where the court has slapped women in the face in terms of disrespect for their judgments about the size and timing of their families. So, the fact is, let’s keep our eye on the ball. The ball is in the court of those justices. One of them at least said over and over again that precedent had been established again and again on Roe v. Wade and that- so this decision is about being anti-precedent and anti-privacy and has serious ramifications as we go- as we go down this path and has to be softened. And I don’t think there’s a good outcome, but there’s a better outcome as far as this is concerned.”

Pelosi, Top House Democrats Take Secret Trip to Ukraine

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi led a group of seven Democrats in a secret congressional delegation to Ukraine on Saturday, the first such official visit.

Pelosi is the highest-ranking U.S. government official to visit the country. The delegation also included Massachusetts Reps. Jim McGovern and Bill Keating, California Reps. Barbara Lee and Adam Schiff, New York Rep. Gregory Meeks, and Colorado Rep. Jason Crow. Two Republicans, Indiana Rep. Victoria Spartz and Montana Sen. Steve Daines, visited the besieged European nation in April, although their trip was not officially organized.

The lawmakers met with Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy for several hours, and also walked the streets of Kyiv, according to a video posted to Zelenskyy’s official Twitter account. During the meeting, Pelosi pledged to “be there for you until the fight is done.”

Nancy Pelosi to Appear in Drag Queen Show (VIDEO)

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) will appear in drag queen show “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars,” according to a Paramount+ announcement Friday.

The show premiers on May 20, and follows previous drag competition winners in a “tournament of champions,” The Hill reported Friday. Pelosi appeared in a commercial for the show for only a few seconds where she is seen asking “Can I get an amen?” which is one of the host’s iconic lines.

It won’t be the first appearance for Pelosi on the show. She was also on “RuPaul’s Drag Race” in 2018. “This idea of people believing in themselves, being themselves, taking pride in themselves, is not just a lesson for politicians but for everyone in the country. And that’s why I was so excited and couldn’t resist being on the show,” Pelosi told The Hollywood Reporter after her first appearance.

“You’re an inspiration ― I hope you know ― because you really know your power,” Pelosi told the drag queens on the show, according to Huffington Post. “It’s about taking pride. And that’s what you do ― take pride in yourselves.”

China Mocks Nancy Pelosi for Contracting Coronavirus

Chinese state media on Friday gleefully mocked U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for contracting the Wuhan coronavirus, snidely informing Pelosi that she should abandon any plans to visit Taiwan lest she infect the island.

The state-run Global Times approvingly quoted a hashtag on Weibo, China’s heavily-censored version of banned Twitter, that sarcastically advised Pelosi to talk to a doctor about her infection instead of talking to Taiwanese “secessionists”:

The development received high attention on social media, with netizens urging Pelosi to abandon any dangerous plans. “Get well soon, but forget about a Taiwan visit. You won’t want to see the consequences,” said a Weibo user.

”She not only needs to overcome [Chinese coronavirus], but should also seek treatment for the ‘messing up the world’ disease. Many US politicians should see a doctor for that,” another net user said on Sina Weibo.

“Since the US has removed most epidemic restrictions, I bet Omicron is nothing to worry about. The biggest problem is hegemonic mentality embedded in her, and many others’ minds,” said another.

J6 Committee Seeks to Criminalize Republican Fundraising

After spying on the communications of members of Congress, seizing bank records of Americans engaged in peaceful protest, fabricating evidence against political opponents, and threatening freedom of the press, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s hand-picked Jan. 6 Committee has told media allies it will try to criminalize the act of Republicans raising funds for safeguarding elections.

The latest abuse of power from the norm-breaking committee was revealed earlier this week in a one-sided report from the committee’s propaganda arm at The Washington Post.

The committee, composed exclusively of Democrat-appointed members, is seeking access to the private financial records of its political opponents and the donors who support them, as part of an unprecedented effort to claim that fundraising in support of election integrity may constitute wire fraud:

Officials with the committee said the day’s events cannot be viewed in a vacuum — and argued that the fundraising and political appeals that happened in the months leading up to Jan. 6, 2021, are a reason the pro-Trump mob stormed the Capitol.“These people knew the claims they were making about the election were false but still sent emails anyways because it was an effective way to raise money,” a person familiar with the investigation said.

There are several major problems with this latest scheme from the committee to redefine legitimate election-integrity concerns as knowingly false claims of stolen elections. First, it is yet another brazen assault on the First Amendment rights of speech and political assembly. Second, it was not, in fact, false to say that the 2020 election was riddled with problems. Pelosi Kills Billions in COVID-19 Spending Due to Democratic Civil War

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi stripped COVID-19 money from Congress’ omnibus government funding bill due to infighting among Democrats.

Congress was expected to include almost $16 billion in funding to continue fighting the coronavirus pandemic that President Joe Biden recently said Americans are ready to move on from, about one-third of which would be to help global relief efforts in other countries. But a sizeable portion of the Democratic caucus revolted over how the funds would be paid for.

House leadership planned to pay for some of the new COVID-19 relief funds with leftover money from last year’s American Rescue Plan, according to CNN. The plan was Democrats’ response to Republican objections that states should actually spend all of the relief money they were already given before more funds are disbursed.
