Pelosi-Allied Democrat Predicts She Will Retire

House Budget Committee Chairman John Yarmuth (D-KY) predicted on Tuesday that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) will retire after the 2022 midterms.

As Republicans are likely to retake the House in November, the establishment media and now a member of Pelosi’s leadership team are suspecting Pelosi will retire.

“My gut would tell me that this would be her last term,” Yarmuth told the Hill. “I see a lot of people who would be the presumed successors donating a lot of money to their colleagues.”

Those rumored to be strongly seeking to lead the Democrat caucus if Pelosi retires are Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-MD) and Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-SC). Less likely members to take the helm are Rep. David Cicilline (D-RI), Congressional Progressive Caucus Chairwoman Pramila Jayapal (D-WA), and House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA).

Pelosi, 81, who has come under intense fire from Democrats for her husband’s stock trading practices, is facing a mass exodus of fellow Democrat members who are retiring – 26 in all, not including Pelosi. “To begin the conversation, we’re privileged to have a contribution from one of the great creative talents of our time, Lin-Manuel Miranda,” Pelosi said.

“May his beautiful words be an inspiration to us. Among the words he said in the music, we’ll make it right for you. If we lay a strong enough foundation, we’ll pass it on to you, and we’ll give the world to you,” she continued:

Trump Asks Supreme Court to Keep White House Records Shielded From Jan. 6 Committee

Former President Donald Trump petitioned the Supreme Court on Thursday to keep White House records concealed from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s Select Committee on Jan. 6.

For months, Pelosi’s partisan probe has sought about 700 pages of documents housed by the National Archives to investigate the administration and connect the Trump White House with the riot at the Capitol in January. President Joe Biden has repeatedly denied Trump’s request to keep White House records private from House investigators while lower courts have rejected the former president’s claims of executive privilege.

“The limited interest the Committee may have in immediately obtaining the requested records pales in comparison to President Trump’s interest in securing judicial review before he suffers irreparable harm,” wrote Trump’s legal team, adding a request that the Supreme Court put a hold on lower rulings, which would otherwise compel their release. “The records sought are in the custody and control of the [National Archives and Records Administration] and therefore are being preserved as a matter of law. Pelosi’s Partisan Jan. 6 Commission May Be Headed to Court, as Defendants

It’s looking more and more likely the members of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s partisan committee assigned to “investigate” the Jan. 6 events at the U.S. Capitol, where dozens, or a few hundred, entered the building and vandalized parts, will be going to court.

As defendants.

Three more individuals, Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, broadcaster Alex Jones, and U.S. Rep. Scott Perry, R-Pa., all have begun their own court action, or protest, denying the committee’s authority.

They join a long list of others who already have sued, charging the committee is trying to abrogate the Constitution’s First Amendment with its demands, and isn’t even legitimate because it fails to meet the requirements of the authorizing resolution.

The committee, which is partisan because Pelosi refused to seat the GOP members selected by the minority party and instead recruited two anti-Trump GOP members, Liz Cheney of Wyoming and Rep. Kinzinger of Illinois, has issued vast and broad demands for statements, evidence, phone records, testimony and much, much more. Pelosi Fast-Tracks ‘Anti-islamophobia’ Bill to Appease Omar Over Stupid Joke

The House of Representatives is scheduled to vote on a bill on Tuesday that Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi fast-tracked to appease leftist Rep. Ilhan Omar after she took offense to a stupid joke made by Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert.

At a recent event, Boebert referred to Omar as being part of the “Jihad Squad.”

“I looked to my left and there she is: Ilhan Omar. And I said, ‘Well, she does not have a backpack, we should be okay,’” Boebert said.

Pelosi Says She’ll Never Forgive President Trump and His ‘Lackeys’ (VIDEO)

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s religion apparently aligns closely with her politics. . .

Specifically, she has stated she’ll never forgive President Trump, his “lackeys” and his “bullies” for last January 6.

That’s when Trump held a rally in Washington, and hundreds of attendees marched to the Capitol. . .

“I’ll never forgive president — former president of the United States and his lackeys and his bullies that he sent to the Capitol for the trauma that he — that wasn’t what was exerted on our staff,” she said. “These are young, largely younger people who come with the idealism to work in the Capitol on either side of the aisle and whatever it is. And for us to sign up for this when we run for office, it’s bad enough for our families to see the danger we’re in.”

The January 6 events prompted Pelosi’s second attempt to impeach and remove the president, which failed like the first.

Former Congressman Sues Nancy Pelosi and Jan. 6 Capitol Riot Panel Members

By Washington Examiner. Mark Meadows is suing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and members of the House select committee tasked with investigating the Jan. 6 riot on Capitol Hill.

The lawsuit, filed in D.C. federal court on Wednesday, comes after the panel said it had “no choice” but to move forward with recommending criminal contempt of Congress proceedings against the subpoenaed former Trump White House chief of staff after he changed course and said he would no longer cooperate with its investigation. Mark Meadows Sues Nancy Pelosi to Avoid Testifying Before Capitol Riot Committee

By The Daily Beast. Donald Trump’s former chief of staff Mark Meadows has sued House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and the House Select Committee investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol riot in an attempt to skirt testifying before the panel.

The move comes the same day the committee indicated it would move forward with contempt charges after Meadows didn’t show up for his scheduled deposition.

Meadows’ attorneys wrote in the suit, filed in Washington D.C. federal court on Wednesday, that if Meadows does comply with the committee’s request, he would be “illegally coerced into violating the Constitution.”

“The Select Committee wrongly seeks to compel both Mr. Meadows and a third party telecommunications company to provide information to the Select Committee that the Committee lacks lawful authority to seek and to obtain,” his lawyers said. Once Again Hypocrite Pelosi Personifies ’Rules for Thee, but Not for Me’

Photos granted exclusively to Breitbart News show Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi going maskless at a crowded indoor event, just a day after President Biden urged all Americans to once again start wearing masks indoors.

The photos appear to show Pelosi at a D.C. party hosted by the California State Society earlier this evening with guests surrounding Pelosi, including a child, wearing masks — but Pelosi’s is nowhere to be seen.

The event reportedly took place at the Museum of American History. Tickets for the event state that all attendees over the age of two are required to wear masks.

Drew Hammill, an official in Pelosi’s office, did not immediately reply to a request for comment.

“For me, it’s a religious thing. I believe this is God’s creation, and we have a moral obligation to be good stewards. If you don’t share that view, you must share the view that we have an obligation to future generations,” Pelosi said.

Pelosi made these statements after her attendance at the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26) in Glasgow, Scotland, where she led a 21 member Congressional delegation in representing the U.S.

How 31 Republicans Just Betrayed the Country to Reward Illegal Immigration, Worsen Inflation, and Pay Off Democrats’ Donors

At nearly midnight on Friday, 13 House Republicans gave Speaker Nancy Pelosi the votes she needed to pass the so-called “bipartisan infrastructure bill” — colloquially known in DC as the BIF. In doing so, these House Republicans, among them two members of the House GOP leadership team, all but guaranteed House passage of Joe Biden’s hotly partisan, $2 trillion reconciliation bill, which represents the largest cradle-to-grave expansion of federal power since the New Deal.

Over at National Review, Philip Klein called the move by these 13 Republicans “political malpractice,” and a “betrayal.” He’s right, particularly on the first point.

Republicans who supported the bill predictably justified their vote as one for “roads and bridges,” pointing to the benefits that the bill’s largest provisions — like the $47 billion in climate funding and the $66 billion for the failing Amtrak system, provided without any reform — will ostensibly bring to their districts.

As Rep. Don Bacon (R-Neb.) told The Hill, “I thought it was good for our district, I thought it was good for our country.” Meanwhile, left-of-center commentator Andrew Sullivan huffed about the “fanatical tribalism” being applied to a bill about infrastructure.

That the BIF was a bill solely focused on infrastructure may have been true at the bill’s conception. But for months, a single and unavoidable political reality has been obvious: the substance of the bill hardly mattered. Rather, the infrastructure bill was but a chit, a chess piece, in forcing through passage of the larger, hotly partisan reconciliation legislation. Their fates were linked; one would not pass without the other.
