WATCH: Sleepy Joe Shakes Hands With Thin Air After Bizarre Speech

By New York Post. President Biden was left empty-handed following an address at a North Carolina university Thursday.

Biden, 79, had just finished delivering a nearly 40-minute speech at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in Greensboro when he turned toward stage right with his paw outstretched in a handshake position.

There was no one else on stage and no one from the applauding crowd approached the president to exchange the pleasantry, according to footage of the event.

Moment a Confused Looking Biden Sticks Out His Hand and Appears to Shake Thin Air After Falsely Claiming in Speech That He Had Also Been a ‘Full Professor’ at UPenn for Four Years

By Daily Mail. President Joe Biden looked lost again Thursday after finishing a speech on the nation’s ongoing supply chain crisis when he turned around and stuck his hand out as if to shake hands – but there was no one else on stage.

The 79-year-old president claimed before the handshake fiasco that he had served as a ‘full professor’ at the University of Pennsylvania despite never teaching a class at the school, in yet another gaffe that has Republicans questioning Biden’s cognitive abilities. . .

The speech also saw Biden bizarrely claim that he used to be a ‘full professor’ at the University of Pennsylvania.

‘I’ve been at a lot of university campuses, matter of fact for four years, I was a full professor at the University of Pennsylvania.’

Biden, from nearby Delaware, was named Benjamin Franklin Presidential Practice Professor, the first person to hold the role, in 2017. He did not teach regular classes but made about a dozen public appearances on the campus, mostly at big-ticketed events, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. He collected a pay check in 2017, 2018 and early 2019. Rep. Cawthorn Says D.C. Elite Invited Him to ‘Orgy,’ Did Cocaine in Front of Him

Representative Madison Cawthorn, a North Carolina Republican, said in a recent interview that leaders that he “looked up to” in Washington, DC, have invited him to an “orgy” and did cocaine in front him. . .

In the interview, Lovell asked the congressman about the popular Netflix series House of Cards, which had six seasons from 2013 to 2018 and starred actors Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright. The fictitious show featured the story of a corrupt politician and his wife as they blackmailed and clawed their way to greater and greater power in the nation’s Capitol. Lovell asked him if the show is an accurate representation of how DC operates.

“The sexual perversion that goes on in Washington, I mean, being kind of a young guy in Washington, average age is probably 60 or 70,” Cawthorn said, “I look at a lot of these people, a lot of them that I’ve looked up to through my life—I’ve always paid attention to politics—then all of a sudden you get invited to, ‘Oh hey we’re going to have a sexual get together at one of our homes, you should come.'”

Cawthorn then put on a shocked expression, saying his response was, “‘What did you just ask me to come to?’ And then you realize they’re asking you to come to an orgy.” The Republican lawmaker also said that “some of the people who are leading on the movement to try and remove addiction in our county” have done “a key bump of cocaine” right in front of him. WATCH: Lieutenant Gov Under Fire After Terming Homosexuality as ‘Filth’

North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson is facing calls to resign after a video emerged of him calling “transgenderism” and homosexuality “filth.”

Robinson, a Republican, said students should not be taught about “transgenderism, homosexuality, any of that filth” in classrooms, prompting calls for his resignation as administrators and parents battle over the oversight of school curricula.

“There’s no reason anybody, anywhere in America should be telling children about transgenderism, homosexuality, any of that filth,” Robinson said in the video, which was filmed in June at Asbury Baptist Church. “And yes, I called it filth.”

The White House, as well as gay and transgender rights groups, condemned his words and called for him to resign.

“These words are repugnant and offensive,” White House deputy press secretary Andrew Bates, who is a native of North Carolina, said, according to multiple outlets. “The role of a leader is to bring people together and stand up for the dignity and rights of everyone, not to spread hate and undermine their own office.” (Read more from “WATCH: Lieutenant Gov Under Fire After Terming Homosexuality as ‘Filth'” HERE)

Landlord Out $24,000 in Rent Due to Moratorium, While Tenant’s Out Buying Boats

A North Carolina landlord says he is out $24,000 in unpaid rent from tenants, while one renter bought three boats over the course of the eviction moratorium just as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced a new ban that will last until Oct. 3.

Buddy Shoup, who owns 35 properties across the state, said that he has been forced to maintain the properties and hemorrhage costs while the federal government slowly dribbles out rental assistance, of which only 7% has been doled out to renters in need.

“[The money] was used, they went and bought brand new boats, but I mean, you know in a time of crisis like what we’ve been through, you’re evidently getting money from somewhere, but it’s not getting to me,” said Shoup.

Those very same tenants allegedly contacted Shoup when their air-conditioning failed in the middle of the summer.

Shoup was legally required to make the $4,500 repair on the residence but said he did not receive any money from the tenants or the government to cover the additional cost. (Read more from “Landlord Out $24,000 in Rent Due to Moratorium, While Tenant’s Out Buying Boats” HERE)

County Bans ‘Left-Wing’ Coca-Cola Machines From Government Buildings

Officials in Surry County, North Carolina, voted to remove Coca-Cola machines from all government facilities in response to the beverage company CEO’s remarks about Georgia’s controversial new voting law.

The ban passed during a Board of Commissioners meeting on May 17 with a 3-2 vote as a direct response to Coca-Cola CEO James Quincey’s comments calling the voting law “unacceptable” and “a step backwards.”

Commissioner Ed Harris provided “TODAY” Digital with the copy of a letter he sent Quincey, calling out the company’s “corporate political commentary favoring the Democratic party” and announcing the decision to remove Coca-Cola machines from government facilities. . .

In the letter to Quincey, Harris said the beverage company supports “the out-of-control cancel culture and bigoted leftist mob” when it chooses the social issues it wants to speak up about.

“Michael Jordan once said ‘Republicans buy sneakers too’ when asked why he didn’t make public comments about politics,” Harris wrote. “Citizens of Surry County and across America are growing increasingly tired of large multinational corporations and their CEOs pushing an increasingly intolerant, bigoted, left-wing, divisive political agenda on its customers.” (Read more from “County Bans ‘Left-Wing’ Coca-Cola Machines From Government Buildings” HERE)

Man Kicked off City Commission After Failing to Address Black Professor as ‘Doctor’

The city council of Greensboro, North Carolina, voted unanimously to oust a construction contractor from the zoning commission after a tense exchange in which he failed to address a black professor as “doctor,” the Greensboro News & Record reported.

Council member Sharon Hightower last week said Tony Collins exhibited “white privilege and entitlement. And what I saw last night at the zoning commission meeting was white privilege at its ultimate finest. It was absolutely disrespectful … to dress down an African American female was unacceptable,” WFMY-TV reported.

Carrie Rosario is a Greensboro citizen and an associate professor of public health education at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro, the station said, adding that she holds a DrPH — a professional doctoral-level degree in public health.

During the April 19 Greensboro Zoning Commission virtual meeting, Rosario introduced herself as “Dr. Rosario” to the commission before noting her opposition to a planned development near her home, WFMY reported.

Collins pushed back against Rosario’s comments — and in doing so referred to her as “Mrs. Rosario.” (Read more from “Man Kicked off City Commission After Failing to Address Black Professor as ‘Doctor'” HERE)

12-Year-Old Kills Home Intruder After Grandma Was Shot During Robbery

A 12-year-old boy fatally shot a man to protect his grandmother when two intruders broke into her North Carolina home, authorities said.

The incident occurred shortly after 12:30 a.m. Saturday when two masked men entered 73-year-old Linda Ellis’ home in Goldsboro, news station WRAL reported.

The pair demanded money and shot Ellis in the leg, prompting the 12-year-old to open fire, police said. . .

The gunfire caused the intruders to flee, but one suspect, Khalil Herring, 19, was found at a nearby intersection suffering from a gunshot wound, police said. (Read more from “12-Year-Old Kills Home Intruder After Grandma Was Shot During Robbery” HERE)

Supreme Court Decides NC Absentee Ballot Deadline

The Supreme Court of the United States on Wednesday decided to uphold the North Carolina State Board of Elections’ decision to extend the state’s mail-in ballot deadline from three to nine days. The decision was made because of the Wuhan coronavirus pandemic.

In order to count, ballots have to be postmarked on or before Election Day but election officials must receive that ballot by 5 p.m. on Nov. 12.

The main question surrounding the case was whether or not the State Board of Elections had the authority to make deadline changes without consent from the North Carolina state legislature.

The decision was made 5-3, with newly-confirmed Justice Amy Coney Barrett sitting out “because of the need for a prompt resolution and because she has not had time to fully review the parties’ filings,” court spokeswoman Kathy Arberg told the Associated Press. Army Reserve Investigating Democrat North Carolina Senate Hopeful After Cheating Scandal

The United States Army Reserve is investigating North Carolina Senate candidate James Calvin “Cal” Cunningham III, a lieutenant colonel who is alleged of having an extramarital affair in potential violation of the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ).

“The Army Reserve is investigating the matters involving Lt. Col. James Cunningham. As such, we are unable to provide further details at this time,” Army Reserve spokesman Lt. Col. Simon Flake said in a statement Wednesday morning.

The acknowledgment that the Army Reserve is looking into his behavior could cast a cloud over Cunningham’s image as well as career in the military, since extramarital affairs are prohibited and punishable under the UCMJ.

Nationalfile.com first reported that Cunningham and a public relations executive, Arlene Guzman Todd, exchanged sexually-charged text messages that talked about kissing and more.

On Tuesday, Guzman Todd confirmed that they had an affair and more text messages emerged that indicated the two engaged in sexual intercourse in Cunningham’s family home, and that she had nude photos of him and had jokingly told a friend she would send them to his opponent if he continued ignoring her. Twitter Censors Trump Tweet About North Carolina Voters

Twitter again flagged President Trump for encouraging voters in North Carolina to both vote by mail, then show up at the polls on Election Day. . .

The social media platform put a warning label on Trump’s Saturday tweet and limited its circulation for violating rules on election integrity by “encouraging people to potentially vote twice.”

Twitter didn’t remove the tweet, but added the warning and said it would ban users from retweeting, liking or replying to the Trump post. Only retweets with comments would be permitted. . .

Twitter has taken a harsher stance on Trump and his ongoing contention that mail-in voting is rife with fraud. “These claims are unsubstantiated,” Twitter wrote accompanying earlier Trump tweets, citing news sources. “Experts say mail-in ballots are very rarely linked to voter fraud.”

Trump has been laying the groundwork to cast doubt on the validity of the presidential election that will rely increasingly on the U.S. Postal Service during the coronavirus pandemic. Twitter earlier this month flagged Trump’s tweets on North Carolina that urged voters to test the accuracy of the mail-in voting process by heading to the polls to potentially vote again if their vote had not yet been tabulated.
