Photo Credit: YouTube Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh on Wednesday said he was “befuddled” to hear Pope Francis bashing “unfettered capitalism” as a “new tyranny” in a papal proclamation.

“It’s actually unbelievable,” he began. “The pope has written, in part, about the utter evils of capitalism. And I have to tell you, I’ve got parts of it here I can share with you. It’s sad because this pope makes it very clear he doesn’t know what he’s talking about when it comes to capitalism and socialism and so forth.”

He went on to argue that the Catholic Church wouldn’t even exist without capitalism and the “tons of money” that funds the church and Vatican.

Limbaugh argued that by reducing the number of votes needed to end filibusters against President Barack Obama’s nominees from 60 to 51, Democrats have fundamentally altered the Senate’s balance of power.

Rush Limbaugh: Obama ‘Playing Dictator’ With Healthcare

Photo Credit: APRadio talk show host Rush Limbaugh played President Barack Obama’s announcement about the troubled healthcare law on his show Thursday, commenting as he went and likening the president to a dictator.

When the president had finished explaining his proposed change to Obamacare, which would allow individuals to keep their plans for another year, Limbaugh told his audience:

“He’s doing two things: He’s telling the insurance companies, as a dictator would, what they can and can’t do or what they must or must not do, or what they have to and don’t have to do. He is suggesting … that if you have your plan now and you like it, you can keep it for one more year so that you don’t get any angrier at Democrats than you are now and vote against them next November.”

The Palm-Beach, Fla., based commentator continued, “If your plan has been canceled, he has just ordered the insurance company to make it available to you, so that you can go back and get that plan. The problem is that that plan was canceled precisely because it conflicts with his law, with Obamacare.”

Photo Credit: APDuring his Monday radio show, conservative talker Rush Limbaugh made the argument that President Barack Obama “is defrauding the entire country” by saying that “if you like your plan, you can keep it.”

Limbaugh compared Obama to Ponzi scheme huckster Bernie Madoff and called the fraud “impeachable.”

He also said that the miserable HealthCare.gov rollout has gone exactly as planned. In order for Obamacare to be a successful policy, it requires people losing their health insurance and being forced to use the Obamacare exchanges, he explained.

“Here’s the thing — if you believe nothing of what I say, if you believe nothing of what I say — believe this,” Limbaugh said. “What people do not understand is that as far as Obama is concerned, Obamacare is working perfectly right now. It is happening exactly as it was drawn up. It is happening exactly as it was designed.”

This is worse than a bad deal.” And he told Lurch — and, by the way, some have asked, I need to dispel something quick. You know Liberty? The talking horse in Rush Revere and the Brave Pilgrims was not modeled after John Kerry. I can’t tell you how many people have asked, “We’ve seen Liberty on the cover of your book. Were you thinking of John Kerry?” No, no. We wouldn’t do that to Liberty. Our horse doesn’t purposely look like John Kerry, and I don’t think it does. Limbaugh: Nixon Resigned Over a Lie that Was Much Less Damaging in Scope (+video)

Photo Credit: WND On Friday’s program, radio host Rush Limbaugh put the Obamacare rollout fiasco into historical perspective, declaring that in many ways, the current scandal is worse than Watergate.

“Folks,” Limbaugh told his audience, “Richard Nixon resigned over a lie that was much less damaging in scope than this one.”

“The bottom line,” he said, “is that Obama, the regime, knew that 93 million Americans would be unable to keep their health care plans under Obamacare. … I mean, this is an abject, purposeful lie to the American people for the express purpose of passing legislation.”

The other aim of Obamacare, Limbaugh insisted, was to undermine the private insurance business itself.

He pointed to an “obscure report buried in a June 2010 edition of the Federal Register,” in which White House officials matter-of-factly predicted that Obamacare would create “massive disruption of the private insurance market because that’s what was intended.”

Rush Limbaugh: GOP ‘So Irrelevant’ (+video)

Photo Credit: WND Rush Limbaugh on Wednesday blasted the Republican Party as “irrelevant” and responsible for “creating one of the greatest political disasters” he’s ever seen.

“I was trying to think earlier today, if ever in my life I could remember any major political party being so irrelevant,” the conservative radio host said on his show, according to a transcript. “I have never seen it. I have never seen a major political party simply occupy placeholders, as the Republican Party is doing.”

Limbaugh slammed the Republican Party for consistently failing to offer any “serious opposition” to the Democratic Party or President Barack Obama. And now the party has made an “inexplicable political cave-in” with the agreement to reopen the government and lift the debt ceiling, he said.

Limbaugh: Obama’s Approval Down to 37% and Republicans Still Think They’re Losing?

He says, “How did you… I mean, well, I know you know, but how did you… how did you…” I said, “What are you talking about?”

“How did you know we were winning this?” He had just seen the AP story with Obama’s approval rating at 37%. Grab sound bite number two. Barack Obama’s approval rating at 37%. That fact is in an AP story. Would you like to hear the headline of that AP story? I have it right here my formerly nicotine-stained fingers. “Poll: GOP Gets The Blame In Shutdown.” And then if you read the story, you find out that as an incidental item, the president of the United States’ approval number is at 37%.

This is before that insulting, juvenile, petulant, spoiled-rotten little kid press conference from yesterday, about which there was not one question asked about Obamacare and its rollout. Not one question in that presser yesterday. We have also learned that the Park Service and Obama okayed a pro-amnesty immigration reform rally on the National Mall that is closed to everybody else, including World War II vets. Nancy Pelosi and a number of Democrats, who are, I think, in a time warp, a bunch of them went over there and got arrested as though this is still the 1960s. John Lewis got arrested. Charlie Rangel got arrested, as though it’s some badge of honor to get arrested. These people are totally tone-deaf.

The president’s at 37%. The shutdown is going on. Now we learn that five military families were insulted profoundly with the way the deaths of their service member relatives were treated. Folks, it is obvious that this administration is acting purposely to inconvenience and to harm people it considers its political enemies. Why in the world, in the middle of this, when you’re losing, why call that press conference yesterday and why go out there and keep saying, “I’m willing to negotiate” and this sort of thing, why do that on the same day that you are permitting — I mean, you talk about a thumb in the eye. You talk about almost being spat upon to allow the closed — because of the shutdown — National Mall to open up for a pro-amnesty immigration rally. The people allowed in there were illegal. They were not American citizens.

Meanwhile, outside the fences, not permitted in, American citizens, World War II vets and their families are not allowed to go to the World War II Memorial. And the Democrats and the media and the president somehow think that this is adding up to their benefit? Here’s Pelosi yesterday. Grab sound bite 13. This is Pelosi yesterday on the National Mall during a rally in favor of amnesty, comprehensive immigration reform.

Rush Limbaugh Explodes While Outlining the GOP’s ‘All-Out Assault on Ted Cruz’ (+audio)

Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh claims there is an “all-out assault” on Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and others like him — within the Republican Party. He said the GOP establishment is currently carrying out a plan to “deal with” Cruz and others in their bid to “take over the Republican Party.”

He cited David Brooks, a “supposed conservative columnist for the New York Times,” who has reportedly warned that Cruz and other lawmakers like him “threaten the traditional Republican Party.”

“Brooks insists that Ted Cruz’s motives are less about legislation and policy and more about the politics of undermining the Republican establishment,” Limbaugh added. “And Brooks considers himself to be a ranking member of the Republican establishment.”

Limbaugh then played an audio clip of Brooks attacking Cruz on PBS’ “Newshour.”

Rush Limbaugh Lets Loose on Obama Over This ‘Psychopathic’ Statement (+audio)

0305-Rush-LimbaughEarlier this week, President Barack Obama reframed his “red line” rhetoric in regards to Syria and the use of chemical weapons, saying it was the “world,” not him, that “set a red line.”

Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh on Thursday expressed his disbelief at the claim, which he called “psychopathic.” According to the online Merriam-Webster dictionary, “psychopathic” is defined as: “of, relating to, or characterized by psychopathy or antisocial personality disorder.”

Limbaugh is not alone in his confusion over the statement.

Obama last year clearly stated that Syria would cross a “red line” that would “change my equation” if he used chemical weapons on his own people.
