Radical Chic: Twitter To Get Even Woker

Incoming Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal, who will shortly replace Jack Dorsey as head of the far-left social media company, uncritically repeated a quote in 2010 suggesting that there should be no need to “distinguish between white people and racists.”

“If they are not gonna make a distinction between muslims and extremists, then why should I distinguish between white people and racists,” tweeted Agrawal, in quotes. It is unclear who he was quoting.

While anti-white racism has become common in many U.S. institutions, including its top corporations, Agrawal made his comment in 2010 — years before the Black Lives Matter movement would arrive to push American corporations even further towards the left on issues of race.

Relatively unknown in Silicon Valley until now, Agrawal was announced as Jack Dorsey’s successor shortly after the Twitter co-founder announced he would step down from his role after a six-year stint as its CEO.

Dorsey, who presided over the company’s shift from what his predecessor called “the free speech wing of the free speech party” to a platform that censors conservatives on a regular basis, including the banning of President Trump, has often been denounced by conservatives. China Wipes NBA Team From TV After Player Criticized Beijing

Beijing took no time to act after Boston Celtics center Enes Kanter posted a video on Twitter describing Chinese President Xi Jinping as a “brutal dictator” and calling for the independence of Tibet.

China’s video-streaming giant Tencent shut down the live broadcast of the game Wednesday between the Celtics and New York Knicks, the Washington Post reported.

In his video, Kanter, who grew up in Turkey, spoke for more than two minutes in support of Tibetan independence.

“Brutal dictator of China, Xi Jinping, I have a message for you and your henchmen,” he said, clad in a shirt with an image of the Dalai Lama. “Free Tibet, free Tibet, free Tibet.”

China seized the mountainous region in 1950 after four decades as a de facto independent state. (Read more from “China Wipes NBA Team From TV After Player Criticized Beijing” HERE)

Twitter Messes With ‘Wrong Soldier’ After It Bans Veteran GOP Senate Candidate

Republican Senate candidate and retired Army Capt. Sam Brown is firing back at Twitter after he woke up Monday morning to see that his account was “permanently suspended,” which Twitter has since acknowledged was an error.

“Big Tech is waging an all-out attack on conservative voices — using unequally applied ‘rules’ to censor or suspend anyone they disagree with,” Brown told Fox News in an exclusive statement. “This summer, they censored my tweets as ‘potentially sensitive content.’ This morning, they suspended my account without warning or cause.”

Brown is running in the Republican primary in Nevada hoping to unseat Democratic incumbent Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto in 2022.

The candidate filed an appeal to Twitter’s decision without being told what tweets prompted such punishment. Twitter responded with an automatic email informing him his appeal request was received. His account was suspended for several hours.

“Big Tech knows their days of one-sided censorship and divisive influence are numbered with conservative voices like me in the Senate,” Brown said. “I will not back down from this fight – Twitter has messed with the wrong soldier.” (Read more from “Twitter Messes With ‘Wrong Soldier’ After It Bans Veteran GOP Senate Candidate” HERE)

Critics Slam Twitter Fact Check of Obituary Attributing Young Mother’s Death to Vaccine

Critics are slamming Twitter after the social media company fact checked an obituary of a young mother that attributed her death to a rare blood disorder induced by the coronavirus vaccine.

“This obituary is ‘misleading’ says Twitter. ‘For [on Twitter] we are not afraid to follow the truth wherever it may lead,’ unless of course it contradicts what Dr. Fauci or the enlightened government and tech overlords say you must do for your healthcare,” Republican Texas Rep. Chip Roy tweeted in response to the fact-checked obituary.

The fact check came after an unverified Twitter account posted a link to the obituary, accompanied by the caption: “Seattle, WA — Jessica Berg Wilson, an ‘exceptionally healthy and vibrant 37-year-old young mother with no underlying health conditions,’ passed away from COVID Vaccine-Induced Thrombotic Thrombocytopenia. She did not want to get vaccinated.”

Twitter labeled the tweet “misleading,” and provided information on “why health officials consider COVID-19 vaccines safe for most people.”

The obituary on Oregon Live states that Wilson died on Sept. 7 “from COVID-19 Vaccine-Induced Thrombotic Thrombocytopenia (VITT),” a blood-clotting syndrome. (Read more from “Critics Slam Twitter Fact Check of Obituary Attributing Young Mother’s Death to Vaccine” HERE)

Biden FEC Claims Fraudulent Pro-Democrat Electioneering by Corrupt Big Tech Companies Is Totally Legal

The Federal Election Commission has exonerated Twitter for its brazen election meddling, according to new reporting from The New York Times. The government agency dismissed GOP allegations that Twitter broke election laws immediately before the November 2020 presidential election when it prevented users from sharing a link to a New York Post story detailing Hunter Biden’s shady overseas business dealings uncovered on his abandoned laptop.

According to the Times, the FEC ruling, which was made behind closed doors and has not yet been released, says the Big Tech giant’s actions in censoring the Biden bombshell were for “valid commercial reasons,” not political purposes. The Republican National Committee, however, says Twitter’s decision to shield the story from public view was an “illegal in-kind contribution” to the Biden campaign.

That’s because the New York Post article didn’t just indict the Biden son. It exposed the unethical behaviors of then-candidate Joe Biden in the run-up to the highly contested presidential election against Big Tech and corporate media enemy Donald Trump.

The article detailed how Hunter Biden monetized foreign companies’ access to his father while Joe Biden was vice president. Emails, documents, and photos showed how the Biden son leveraged his father’s position for gain with the Ukrainian energy company Burisma. A second New York Post bombshell revealed how Hunter allegedly pursued business deals with one of China’s largest energy companies in an attempt to cash in “for me and my family.”

Citing its “hacked materials policy,” Twitter suspended the New York Post’s account after the outlet reported on the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop, which had been abandoned, not hacked, at a Delaware computer repair shop. This was after the tech giant had already been blocking the story link from being posted or shared privately.

Facebook, Twitter Rarely Censor Anti-Semitic Posts

Facebook and Twitter only removed a small fraction of anti-Semitic posts users reported in 2021, highlighting the difficulties social media companies face when moderating hate speech.

A new report from the Center for Countering Digital Hate found that Twitter and Facebook took down fewer than one in nine reported examples of anti-Semitism over a six-week period in 2021. The center also reported hundreds of anti-Semitic posts on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. The posts include Holocaust denial, Nazi symbolism, and hashtags like #holohoax and #killthejews. The posts received 7.3 million views on the social media platforms.

The study reveals social media giants’ inconsistent approach to content moderation. Facebook and Twitter have suppressed scientific pieces suggesting COVID-19 could have escaped from a Chinese lab. But the platforms’ efforts to fight “misinformation” do not extend to anti-Semitic posts. The center emphasized that the true percentage of anti-Semitic posts taken down is likely far lower than its study reported. Major General Can’t Take The Heat On Twitter, Disgraces The U.S. Military

U.S. Major General Patrick Donahoe recently found himself in a Twitter debate he couldn’t win, so he tried to get his “opponent” silenced.

Donahoe first became enraged on Twitter after Josiah Lippincott, a Hillsdale College PhD student and former member of the U.S. Marine Corps Artillery, questioned his hysterical attempts to promote the COVID vaccine. Rather than thoughtfully debate Lippincott on the merits of his argument, Donahoe lashed out, going so far as to demand that Lippincott’s academic institution censor his speech. “Hey @Hillsdale come get your boy,” Donahoe whined.

After the Twitter exchange, Lippincott aptly reflected that “[his] interaction with the General serves as a microcosm of the American military’s cultural rot.”

“Here we have a two-star General who spends his days on social media hyping a vaccine for an illness that poses minimal risk to his troops,” Lippincott wrote in his ensuing op-ed. “When pressed on why America can’t win wars and why he embraces policies that treat healthy people like biohazards, his first response is to accuse his critics of treachery and then block them from view.”

As the commanding general of Fort Benning, which straddles the Alabama-Georgia border, Donahoe has repeatedly promoted the COVID therapeutic vaccines via his official Twitter account, but he shirks substantive debate. “[W]e’ve seen a spike in young trainees in the ICU, spike in trainees arriving positive, and it moves quick in the formation,” Donahoe claimed on Twitter. “To get ahead get the shot. Takes five weeks to build the immunity. If you haven’t done so, do it right now. Delta variant aint playing.”

John McAfee’s Alleged Suicide Note Released By Wife

The widow of the software mogul John McAfee shared what appears to be her husband’s suicide note in a Tuesday tweet. . .

The readable parts of the handwritten note contain statements like, “I am a phantom parasite” and “I want to control my future, which does not exist.” Other bits appear to have been crossed out. . .

However, Janice McAfee further questioned the alleged note’s authenticity Tuesday.

“It reads more like someone trying to imitate John’s style of tweeting. And if this note was found in his pocket where are the markings of the note being folded into his pocket?” she followed up on her earlier tweet Tuesday. . .

“I blame the US authorities for this tragedy. Because of these politically motivated charges against him my husband is now dead,” she speculated at the time. (Read more from “John McAfee’s Alleged Suicide Note Released By Wife” HERE)

FBI Twitter Request To Report ‘Extremist’ Friends, Family Doesn’t End Well

The FBI set itself up for disaster Sunday by posting a tweet encouraging Americans “to learn how to spot” signs of extremism among their friends and family members and then turn in those same friends and family members afterward.

“Family members and peers are often best positioned to witness signs of mobilization to violence. Help prevent homegrown violent extremism. Visit go.usa.gov/x6mjf to learn how to spot suspicious behaviors and report them to the #FBI. #NatSec,” the federal agency tweeted.

The tweet provoked widespread, bipartisan backlash, mockery and insults, both from conservatives angry over the bureau’s uneven application of the law, and also from the true liberals who’ve always despised the security state. . .

The anger from the right stemmed from the glaring dichotomy between the Department of Justice’s obsession with the Jan. 6th riot at the U.S. Capitol and its utter lack of interest in the deadly Black Lives Matter and Antifa riots that occurred throughout all of last year (and are still ongoing in certain sectors of the country).

Twitter Restricts Account of Professor after She Criticized Chinese President

A university professor in New Zealand claims her Twitter account was temporarily restricted after she criticized the Chinese government and its president, Xi Jinping.

“Seems like @Twitter may have briefly forgotten they don’t work for Xi Jinping,” University of Canterbury professor Anne-Marie Brady tweeted after access to her account was restored Monday.

Brady, an expert on China, has been a vocal critic of the country’s Communist Party and claims a critical pair of tweets she sent last week was enough to initiate a social media ban. The tweets were marked “unavailable” over the weekend, and her account was subsequently restricted, Brady shared in a series of tweets.

Brady said the platform welcomed her back after the suspension.

“Opening my work laptop this morning I was greeted by a ‘Welcome back’ message on my screen from @Twitter, as if I was the one who left them,” she tweeted with a screenshot of the message. (Read more from “Twitter Restricts Account of Professor after She Criticized Chinese President” HERE)
