Rape Victim, 17, Uses Legal Euthanasia to End Life

By Fox News. A 17-year-old girl who wrote a book about her struggle with mental illness after being molested and raped has been euthanized in the Netherlands, where she lived and assisted-suicide is legal.

Reports say Noa Pothoven chose to end her life Sunday with the assistance of an end of life clinic, Inside Edition reported.

Under Netherlands law, a doctor has to sign off on the decision after concluding that the patient’s suffering is unbearable and likely to continue, the news outlet reported.

“I deliberated for quite a while whether or not I should share this, but decided to do it anyway,” she wrote on Instagram on the day before her death, according to Inside Edition. “Maybe this comes as a surprise to some, given my posts about hospitalization, but my plan has been there for a long time and is not impulsive.” . . .

“I have quit eating and drinking for a while now, and after many discussions and evaluations, it was decided to let me go because my suffering is unbearable,” Pothoven wrote, according to Inside Edition. “Love is letting go, in this case.” (Read more from “Rape Victim, 17, Uses Legal Euthanasia to End Life” HERE)

Raped Girl, 17, Dies from Legal Euthanasia in Holland After Suffering ‘Unbearable Pain’ Since Childhood Abuse

By The Sun. . .Noa Pothoven died on Sunday in an “end-of-life clinic” bed in her living room in the Netherlands after battling mental health problems for years. . .

The first two incidents were molestations when she attended children’s parties aged 11 and 12 before she was raped by two men when she was 14 in the Elderveld neighbourhood of the city.

For years she never revealed the horrific abuse because it left her feeling ashamed, the 17-year-old said.

Last year, Noa said that she had reported the attacks to police saying she hoped the men will one day be arrested.

She told the Gelderlander in December that she initially contacted the Life End Clinic in The Hague without telling her loved ones. (Read more from “Raped Girl, 17, Dies from Legal Euthanasia in Holland After Suffering ‘Unbearable Pain’ Since Childhood Abuse” HERE)

Landlord Renames London Pub ‘Trump Arms’ to Welcome U.S. President

By Breitbart. President Donald Trump’s state visit to the U.K. is his second trip to London and the second time a local pub landlord has marked the occasion by renaming his establishment Trump Arms.

In July of 2018, Damien Smyth, who runs the Jameson pub, renamed it for Trump’s visit and pulled out all the stops to welcome the U.S. president and surround fans who frequent the business with Trump memorabilia.

Despite the media’s focus on anti-Trump protesters who not only dislike the president but have also recalled his first visit by relaunching the vulgar and disrespectful Trump “baby blimp,” Trump is popular with a lot of Londoners.

ABC reported that Trump told the Sun newspaper that the pub being renamed in his honor was “wonderful.” . . .

“That quote is plastered along the walls of The Trump Arms, as well as numerous American flags, pictures of Trum, and a replica ‘Oval Office,’ where attendees can enjoy a drink while seated across from an image of Trump displayed on the wall,” ABC reported. Welcome to the Trump Arms: The London Pub Welcoming the President During UK Visit

By ABC News. Tucked away in a quiet corner of West London, thousands of miles away from Washington, a pub has been renamed The Trump Arms in honor of the state visit by the President of the United States. . .

The first time, in July 2018, pictures showing the newly dubbed The Trump Arms packed with patrons offered an alternate view of the president’s visit, after other Londoners offered a very different greeting: a giant blimp dubbed the “Trump Baby,” which depicted the President as a petulant infant, displayed over Parliament. . .

That quote is plastered along the walls of The Trump Arms, as well as numerous American flags, pictures of Trump and a replica “Oval Office,” where attendees can enjoy a drink while seated across from an image of Trump displayed on the wall.

“We did it last year when President Trump visited the U.K.,” Smyth told ABC News. “We’ve done it again now because he’s coming here on Monday. We must mark the great relationship between the British, the Irish and the American people.” (Read more from “Welcome to the Trump Arms: The London Pub Welcoming the President During UK Visit” HERE)

Pelosi Ridicules Liberals, Says They’re Not Smart Enough to Understand Impeachment

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) recently expressed concerns that the American public is not smart enough to truly understand the impeachment process. . .

Fellow Democrat members are desperately trying to build a pro-impeachment coalition– one Pelosi would be unable to withstand. A number of House Democrats have been setting up a series of meetings in an effort to recruit and beef up their pro-impeachment movement, according to a report from the Daily Beast.

Despite Pelosi’s subtle shift in tone, there’s still an element of hesitancy for pursuing impeachment. It’s seemingly rooted in her concern for the American people’s mental capacity, or lack thereof.

Pelosi reportedly made the remarks during a closed-door members’ meeting following Memorial Day weekend, according to the Daily Beast, who reported:

The Speaker, according to two sources with knowledge of the meeting, expressed concerns that the public still doesn’t understand how the process of impeachment would play out. She noted that in her time over the recess in California well educated voters didn’t seem to understand that impeachment proceedings would not necessarily result in Trump’s immediate ouster from office.

Former ICE Director Reveals SOMETHING Huge About Illegal Alien Deportation

If the DHS will not close the border to lawfare, why won’t it at least deport those Central American families who have gone through the cumbersome legal process and have been ordered to be deported?

Appearing on Fox & Friends last Friday, former acting ICE Director Tom Homan said he believes the most effective deterrent now to the flow of migrants at the border is to begin deporting all those with final deportation orders.

“We could do more,” said Homan, who headed deportation operations during the 2014 wave of Central American immigrants. “I’ve said many times, there are over 100,000 family units with final orders, been ordered removed by an immigration judge. We need to seek them out and return them to their homeland. We need to execute the final orders issued by the judges, or there’s no integrity to the entire system. That’s not being done; we need to do it. I did it four years ago and it worked. I can’t understand why that’s not happening.”

Indeed, I reported in March that over one million illegal aliens remain in this country despite final deportation orders. According to data obtained by the Immigration Reform Law Institute (IRLI) via a FOIA request, as of June 2018, there were 450,976 individuals from Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador with final deportation orders and another 715,930 with pending final orders. Those with pending final orders are usually individuals who have already been ordered deported by immigration judges but are appealing their cases to the Bureau of Immigration Appeals (BIA), the appellate body of the DOJ’s administrative immigration courts.

These numbers are a year old and were collected before much of the unprecedented surge from Central America. It’s likely that by now the numbers of those with final deportation orders are even higher. Homan noted that specifically targeting Central American families with final deportation orders will serve as a strong deterrent to those in the pipeline now trying to make the trip or thinking of coming here illegally.

When the hosts of Fox & Friends tried to press Homan on the efficacy of the Trump threat to levy tariffs on Mexico, Homan steered the discussion back to deportations. “I’ll say it once again, the secretary of Homeland Security needs to approve this operation. ICE has been ready to do this operation for months – to go seek out those that have final orders. If we don’t do that, there’s no integrity in the system. It works.”

Thus, the former acting ICE director revealed that ICE has a ready-made plan to deport these families with final orders, but for some reason there remains reluctance at the leadership level of DHS to executive it.

While it certainly makes sense to prioritize the resources of ICE’s relatively small staff for deporting the most dangerous criminal aliens, regardless of country of origin, it is most prudent today to specifically target recent arrivals from Central America as a means of solving the border crisis. Once they are released, they know they will not be deported. This is why 87 percent of recent Central American migrants failed to show up for their court hearings.

But what if ICE started aggressively apprehending and deporting those with final deportation orders and Guatemalans began seeing planeloads of those ahead of them in the pipeline of the smuggling routes returning home? Then, even if we fail to end catch-and-release at the front end, at least they know the law will catch up with them eventually, thereby dissuading them from embarking on the dangerous journey in the first place.

The new acting director of ICE, Mark Morgan, appears to be a big fan of this targeted action against those with final orders. During testimony before the Senate Homeland Security Committee in April, Morgan referred to such a plan as “an essential element to reduce the continuing ‘pull’ factor.”

“We need to support and increase ICE enforcement, interior enforcement,” said Morgan, referring to the over one million illegal aliens with final deportation orders who still remain here illegally. “If we start an enforcement operation to remove those individuals, you will also make a huge dent on the incentive.”

Homan is mystified as to why DHS leadership has not yet executed the plan. As weak as Obama was on immigration enforcement, after several months of a much smaller Central American wave in 2014, he approved a plan to begin deporting those who had already gone through the process. The endless planeloads of failed infiltrators arriving back home, in conjunction with a robust media campaign in Central America warning of those deportations, reduced most of the Central American migration in 2015, until it heated up again during Trump’s presidency.

In July 2014, President Obama didn’t just focus on “a humanitarian crisis” and the need for more illegal alien care in his emergency supplemental funding request for the border; he also asked for $879 million “for detention and removal of apprehended undocumented adults traveling with children.” On July 25, Obama warned Central American leaders that “children who do not have proper claims and families with children who do not have proper claims, at some point will be subject to repatriation to their home countries.” And this is when they were traveling alone, without the obvious fraud of one child being used per adult as a ticket to catch-and-release.

Soon we will find out whether the DHS, now headed by acting Secretary Kevin McAleenan, is willing to be at least as strong under the Trump administration as it was under the Obama administration. 7 Border Crisis Problems Demonstrably Worse Than More Expensive Burritos

Burritos might cost a little more if the Mexican government doesn’t pull its weight on illegal immigration.

A new statement from Chipotle CFO Jack Hartung says that the burrito chain might have to raise prices by about one nickel per burrito if the Trump administration’s proposed tariffs to pressure the Mexican government go into effect.

“We know that we could easily solve the volatility in our supply chain by purchasing pre-mashed or processed avocados which would be cheaper, readily available and provide stability, but we are committed to our brand purpose and upholding our food with integrity principles,” Hartung told Fox Business.

While that news might elicit grumbles from the Chipotle fans undeterred by the company’s previous food poisoning woes (as well as wails from anyone looking for an excuse to bash Trump on immigration) here are 7 things far worse than paying a slightly higher premium on a trendy lunch, only a few of the bad things currently happening as a result of the massive border and humanitarian crisis that these provisional tariffs are meant to combat.

Ebola:

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced last week that “the first large group of people from Africa” was apprehended, including people from areas experiencing large Ebola outbreaks. CBP noted that the group was screened medically, but the problem with Ebola is that the initial symptoms are often unremarkable and take a while to diagnose.

Human trafficking:

The cartels are currently making a fortune smuggling people across our border. Some smugglers are even reportedly running radio ads in Central America. “Human trafficking will reach new heights in the United States in the next 18 to 24 months,” warns Jaeson Jones, retired captain with the Texas Department of Public Safety’s Intelligence and Counterterrorism Division. “Several cartels have stated that they cannot keep up with the number of people surging through their plazas throughout Mexico.

Disabled people being left to drown:

Last week, Border Patrol Sector Search, Trauma, and Rescue (BORSTAR) watched a dozen illegal immigrants crossing into the United States when smugglers dumped a double amputee into the Rio Grande River; they later threw a paraplegic man into the water as well. U.S. officials rescued both.

Sexual assault:

Roughly one-third of women who make the journey to cross the United States border are sexually assaulted, Doctors Without Borders says. Older numbers from Amnesty International put the number even higher. Yet the lax security and broad loopholes keep driving people north.

The drug crisis:

How much explanation does this really need? We’re in the middle of a massive drug crisis, and those who try to ignore the border crisis’ role in it at this point are in an advanced state of denial.

Children being kidnapped and “recycled” by human traffickers:

Immigration officials are now documenting and referring for prosecution traffickers who “recycle” migrant children who get sent back to Central America so that they can later be claimed as part of a fake family unit. DHS numbers from last year showed an “eye-popping increase” in the number of kids being kidnapped at the border for similar reasons.

MS-13:

The bloodthirsty MS-13 street gang was almost eradicated during Bush’s second term. Now, in addition to the money to be made from the drug and human trades, the border crisis has provided the crime syndicate with new a new influx of recruitment opportunities.

Yes, the costs of tariffs ultimately fall on American consumers and constrain overall buying power, which is why the supposed merits of protectionism as a long-term international economic paradigm are dubious at best.

We can even have a legitimate discussion about whether putting pressure on the Mexican government is the most prudent path at this juncture, given the remaining unused tools that the president still has in his immigration toolbox, combined with the fact that Mexico City has about as much control over Mexican territory as Kabul has over Afghanistan.

Whether these targeted, issue-specific measures will prove effective at getting further cooperation from the Mexican government on the immigration issue remains to be seen. The upcoming meeting between the administration and delegates from Mexico City ought to be a good indicator.

But in the meantime, let’s not lose sight of the gravity of the actual problem here. (For more from the author of “7 Border Crisis Problems Demonstrably Worse Than More Expensive Burritos” please click HERE)

China Accuses Pompeo of Violating International Law

On the 30th anniversary of the Tiananmen Square massacre, U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo slammed China in a statement honoring the “heroic protest movement of the Chinese people.”

“The hundreds of thousands of protesters who gathered in Beijing and in other cities around China suffered grievously in pursuit of a better future for their country,” Pompeo wrote. “The number of dead is still unknown. We express our deep sorrow to the families still grieving their lost loved ones, including the courageous Tiananmen Mothers, who have never stopped seeking accountability, despite great personal risk. The events of thirty years ago still stir our conscience, and the conscience of freedom-loving people around the world.” . . .

The secretary’s statement also called upon the Chinese government “to make a full, public accounting of those killed or missing” during the Tiananmen Square protests “to give comfort to the many victims of this dark chapter of history.” . . .

In response, the Chinese embassy in Washington claimed the statement violated international law and was made out of “prejudice and arrogance.”

“Under the pretext of human rights, the statement grossly intervenes in China’s internal affairs, attacks its system, and smears its domestic and foreign policies,” the Chinese embassy said in its own statement. “This is an affront to the Chinese people and a serious violation of international law and basic norms governing international relations. The Chinese side expresses its strong dissatisfaction and firm opposition to it.” (Read more from “China Accuses Pompeo of Violating International Law” HERE)

Russia Cuts Disturbing Homosexual Sex Scene from ‘Rocketman’

A Russian media company has reportedly cut all scenes featuring gay sex and men kissing from the Elton John biopic Rocketman because of laws banning “homosexual propaganda”.

An estimated five minutes of footage have been cut from the film in an attempt to play down the sexuality of one of the world’s most famous gay celebrities for a conservative Russian audience.

The cuts were first reported by Russian journalists after the film’s 30 May release in Moscow. Anton Dolin, a popular Russian film critic, wrote on Facebook that “all scenes with kissing, sex and oral sex between men have been cut out… The nastiest part is that the final caption has been removed from the finale.”

While the original caption said that John lives with his husband and that they are raising children together, the Russian version says instead that he established an Aids foundation and continues to work with his musical partner. . . .

On Friday, John and the film’s makers released a joint statement condemning the cuts: “We reject in the strongest possible terms the decision to pander to local laws and censor Rocketman for the Russian market, a move we were unaware of until today. Sheriff Who Didn’t Confront Parkland Shooter Arrested

Former Broward County Sheriff’s deputy Scot Peterson, who was widely criticized for not entering Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School during the Parkland shooting last year, has been arrested on multiple felony and misdemeanor charges.

After disgraced Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel was removed from his command, new Broward Sheriff Gregory Tony turned his focus to the internal investigation of how seven deputies responded to the tragedy. The Broward County Sheriff’s Office released the following statement:

Today, as a result of the continuing internal investigation and disciplinary process, Broward County Sheriff Gregory Tony officially announced the termination of two deputies who were found to have neglected their duties. The two are former Deputy Scot Peterson and Sergeant Brian Miller. The deputy and sergeant were found to have neglected their duties at MSD High School. They have been terminated and will no longer be privileged to serve as law enforcement deputies for the Broward Sheriff’s Office.

Subsequent to an administrative discipline hearing at BSO headquarters this afternoon, former Deputy Peterson was taken into custody on multiple felony and misdemeanor charges and booked into the BSO Main Jail.

Peterson, who was branded “a coward” by President Donald Trump, was arrested by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) on “seven counts of neglect of a child and three counts of culpable negligence and one count of perjury,” the FDLE said in a statement.

WATCH: Sheriff Calls for 2020 Candidate to Be Arrested After Signing Sanctuary Bill

By The Daily Caller. A local sheriff wants Democratic Washington Gov. Jay Inslee to be held in contempt of Congress, or even arrested, for signing a sanctuary bill into law.

“There is no way that this law is going to be followed because I have a responsibility to make sure that criminals are taken off the streets of my county, regardless of immigration status. I will be helping my federal partners do that,” Spokane County Sheriff Ozzie Knezovich said Friday on Fox News.

Knezovich made it very clear that he will continue helping Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) apprehend illegal immigrants in his county, despite what the new law mandates.

“The sanctuary city, or sanctuary state issue, is actually causing the problem we have on our border,” the Spokane County sheriff explained. “When the United States is signaling to illegal immigrants that you can cross that border with no repercussions, we are going to have more and more problems. I disagree with the progressive socialists’ view that there was no crime associated with illegal immigration.” . . .

The new law largely prohibits local law enforcement from asking about a person’s immigration status or place of birth. Jails and state prisons are also barred from honoring voluntary “immigration holds” requested by ICE agents, or from alerting them if a migrant is soon to be released from custody. The new rules, on par with laws passed in California and Oregon, are considered some of the most restrictive in the country. Washington ‘sanctuary’ law means Gov. Inslee should step down or be held in contempt, arrested, sheriff says

By Fox News. Washington state Gov. Jay Inslee should step down, be held in contempt or arrested for approving a “sanctuary” law, according to the Spokane County sheriff.

Sheriff Ozzie Knezovich told host Harris Faulkner on “Outnumbered Overtime” Inslee took the same oath of office that he did, promising to respect federal law.

“You’re saying [Inslee] is committing a crime, basically,” Faulkner said.

“I am,” Knezovich responded. “He took the same oath that I did to uphold the Constitution of the United States and the laws thereof.”

“If you don’t want to enforce your own laws, then either step down or be held in contempt of Congress or be arrested for obstruction – but do not impede and badmouth your ICE agents for doing their job.” (Read more from “Washington ‘sanctuary’ law means Gov. Veterans Storm out of Meeting with AOC – Here’s Why They Were ‘Revolted’

By Daily Wire. Military veterans who attended a recent private event with socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) stormed out of the meeting after Ocasio-Cortez reportedly bashed U.S. foreign policy and attacked Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Silvio Mazzella, a Vietnam War vet, told the New York Post: “She knocks the country, she knocks the president. And that’s not what America is about.”

“I just couldn’t hear her BS anymore,” Mazzella said. “I just got up, got my umbrella in my hand and walked right out.” . . .

Another attendee, who wished to remain anonymous, told the New York Post that they were “revolted” when Ocasio-Cortez bashed President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. . .

Army veteran Anthony Vitaliano, who served 38 years in the NYPD, disputed the claims from Ocasio-Cortez’s office, saying, “That’s bulls–t. Everybody that was there knows I walked out.” (Read more from “Veterans Storm out of Meeting with AOC – Here’s Why They Were ‘Revolted'” HERE)

Veterans Walk out of Meeting with Ocasio-Cortez After She Bashes U.S. Foreign Policy

By The New York Post. . .AOC held the closed-door meeting with about a dozen members of the board on Wednesday night, marking a rare visit to the Bronx part of her district.

One Middle Eastern board member raised the issue of the conflict in Yemen.

The progressive firebrand slammed the US policy of providing bombs to Saudi Arabia, which has supported Yemen’s government in a brutal civil war, according to attendees. Some blamed her for not including the roles of other nations in explaining the volatile region’s violence.

“Talking about America, that really turned me off completely,” said Mazzella, 74, who said he fought in Vietnam from 1966 to 1968. (Read more from “Veterans Walk out of Meeting with Ocasio-Cortez After She Bashes U.S. Foreign Policy” HERE)
