WATCH: Double-Amputee Veteran Skydives With Giant U.S. Flag, Trump 2020 Parachute

A skydiver with two prosthetic legs jumped out of an airplane to carry a huge American flag down to the 80th Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota over the weekend.

Sgt. 1st Class Dana Bowman, is a former Special Forces soldier and a member of the Army’s Golden Knights parachute team, which is also how he lost his legs. He suffered the injuries in a mid-air collision during a Golden Knights training incident that left a fellow skydiver dead.

According to the Defense Department, he was the first double-amputee to reenlist.

He has 4,000 jumps under his belt, many of them after the accident, according to Black Hills Fox, a South Dakota station.

Bowman has done over 4,000 parachute jumps from an airplane. Friday he parachuted in with the American Flag at the Veterans Ride.

Russia: Putin Approves Coronavirus Vaccine, Claims Daughter Took It

President Vladimir Putin claimed on Tuesday that he approved Russia’s experimental Chinese coronavirus vaccine and the nation was readying mass distribution, alleging that his daughter was one of the test subjects and is feeling well since taking it.

An official claimed that the vaccine still needed to clear Phase Three testing, however, which would place its development behind the leading American-made vaccine. . .

Russia is one of a number of rogue states — including China itself, Iran, and North Korea — claiming to be developing a vaccine against the Chinese coronavirus. No vaccine currently exists for any known coronavirus, including those responsible for the SARS and MERS outbreaks in the past two decades.

“As far as I know, this morning for the first time in the world a vaccine against the novel coronavirus infection was registered,” Putin proclaimed on Tuesday, according to the Russian news agency TASS. Putin claimed that some who have taken the vaccine “do not have any symptoms at all” and that his daughter was among the experimental patients.

“I know this very well, because one of my daughters got vaccinated, so in this sense, she took part in testing,” he claimed, stating that she developed a fever after both doses of the vaccine, but “after the second shot, she had a slight fever again, and then everything was fine, she is feeling well and has a high [antibody] count.” (Read more from “Russia: Putin Approves Coronavirus Vaccine, Claims Daughter Took It” HERE)

Murkowski, Rino Establishment Seeking to Rig Valley Elections With Outside Money?

Apparently, The Swamp is feeling very threatened these days.

David Eastman, Christopher Kurka, and LD Howard are all conservative Republicans who support the party platform. So, why are these conservatives so much of a threat to the Republican Establishment that they’re dropping big money into the Valley to stop them?

In an extraordinary move, the Republican State Leadership Committee has air-dropped $150,000 into State House primaries in Alaska, much of which is being spent in the Mat-Su Valley to oppose Representative David Eastman, and to protect Incumbent club members Lynn Gattis and George Rauscher from more conservative challengers.

Karl Rove and Reince Priebus sit on the Board of the Republican State Leadership Committee, along with one Cabell Hobbs, one-time Treasurer of the [Lisa] Murkowski Victory Committee.

Think about that. The Republican State Leadership Committee is targeting David Eastman, Christopher Kurka, and LD Howard, burning money for safe Republican seats that they’re afraid will be won by folks they deem “too conservative.” How much sense does that make? What is going on?

If they have done nothing else, these interlopers from Washington DC have certainly defined these races and framed the election in terms we can all understand.

Make no mistake about it, it’s now not just Establishment vs. Grassroots, it’s also The Swamp vs. The People; Washington vs. Wasilla; Murkowski vs. the Valley; The Binding Caucus vs. Good Government; Big Government vs. the PFD.

The recipient of the money is a RINO front-group ironically named Council on Good Government.

They are, in fact, not for good government. They are protectors of the status quo.

The filer for the group is one Cheryl Frasca, one-time budget chief to former Governor Frank Murkowski, and PS Strategies has been secured to execute the independent expenditures.

Who is PS strategies? The Communications firm owned by Minority Leader Lance Pruitt’s wife, Mary Ann, that made a veritable fortune shilling for Lisa Murkowski in 2016. It also boasts CH2MHill as a client, formerly known as the infamous VECO Corporation of “corrupt bastards” lore. The firm has also been aligned with State Senate President Cathy Giessel.

Why is this significant? Follow the money.

When Lisa Murkowski was a State legislator, she supported raiding the Permanent Fund for State expenditures. Senator Giessel is now firmly in that camp. And it shouldn’t be forgotten that before Lance Pruitt was against(?) raiding the Permanent Fund, he was for it.

Clearly, Pruitt believes he stands to inherit the Speaker’s Chair should Republicans seize control after November, and he’s moving to clear any opposition to his business-as-usual agenda, which the DC Establishment is only too happy to support.

Why do you think Pruitt, a Representative from Los Anchorage, has been out in the Valley going door-to-door, opposing an incumbent Republican? And why is he now inviting the DC Swamp to meddle in Valley elections?

Eastman, Kurka, and Howard have all stood up to the corrupt “Binding Caucus” that has mortgaged Alaska’s future to special interests, crony capitalists, and big government. In fact, they have all signed a pledge to support ending the “Binding Caucus” rule in the Alaska State House, an appallingly corrupt procedure that no other State countenances, and some have even outlawed.

The “Binding Caucus” is simply a rule currently operative in Alaska’s Majority Caucuses that binds all members of the Majority to pledge their vote for the budget, sight unseen. Yes, they actually have to promise they’ll vote for the budget before they even know what’s in it, or how much it is. If they don’t, they get no positions of power, no committee chairmanships, staff and office budgets are limited or cut, and their districts are marginalized.

Without the “Binding Caucus” rule, State expenditures will actually have to be debated and justified, legislators will have to be persuaded, and votes will have to be won.

This would be devastating to big government, special interests, and crony capitalists who currently live off State largesse, and depend on corrupt politicians to move your money through to them with little scrutiny. But it would be a boon for hard-working Alaskans who need their PFD, and whose bloated government doesn’t serve their interests under the current system.

Make no mistake about it. The very people who are behind the big money seeking to persuade you from changing course, are the very people who will benefit at your expense if things stay the same.

They’re selling you a bill of goods. The people responsible for the financial mess Alaska is in are not going to fix it. And neither are their puppets.

Don’t fall for it. Do your homework. And by all means vote.

The only thing standing between you and good government, is the people you elect.

The only thing standing between you and a full PFD, is the people you elect.

The only thing standing between you and an economy that works for you, is the people you elect.

The only thing standing between you and a safe, secure Alaska, is the people you elect.

Don’t let The DC Swamp tell you how to vote. Don’t let Lisa Murkowski subvert Mat-Su values. Don’t let the keepers of the status quo pull a fast one on you.

The same people with the same old tired policies aren’t going to get you a different result.

Let YOUR voice be heard. Nothing is inevitable. You have a choice. Self-government is your prerogative. You can change the course of history. Choose wisely.

WATCH: Governors Closed Their Churches, So Christians Are Getting Creative; Church Defies COVID Order With Indoor Service

By Townhall. As lawmakers across the country slowly rollback their COVID-19 lockdown mandates, governors in several states have refused to lift restrictions on houses of worship. Christians have finally had enough.

Earlier this week, a tweet showing Christians gathered for a time of prayer and worship at a Las Vegas casino went viral. Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak has allowed casinos to reopen with precautions while keeping churches shuttered. The event was hosted by Evangelicals for Trump, said Faith and Freedom Coalition Chairman Ralph Reed. . .

In Pennsylvania, Christians gathered for worship in the grocery aisles of a Walmart near Pittsburgh. Gov. Tom Wolf has restricted church gatherings since April when he issued guidance urging religious leaders to “find alternatives” to in-person gatherings and directing individuals to “not gather in religious buildings or homes for services or celebrations until the stay at home order is lifted.”

California Church Defies Coronavirus Order With Indoor Service

By Washington Times. A California church held an indoor worship service Sunday morning despite a judge’s temporary restraining order barring the church from doing so.

Pastor Rob McCoy led a 9 a.m. service in defiance of coronavirus health orders at Godspeak Calvary Chapel in Ventura County’s Newbury Park. McCoy had vowed Friday to continue in-person services even though the judge’s order cited “an immediate threat to public health and safety due to the 2019 novel coronavirus.”

A livestream of the morning’s service showed a mask-less McCoy and a musician standing before at least two dozen worshipers – most of whom were also not wearing masks. It was not clear from the livestream if they were standing 6 feet (1.8 meters) apart.

The congregation sang to McCoy for his birthday Monday, even though state health officials say singing increases the likelihood for transmission of the virus. (Read more from “California Church Defies Coronavirus Order With Indoor Service” HERE)

FBI Informant Said Michael Flynn Was Not ‘Going to Be Around Long’; GOP Senator: ‘Somebody Needs to Go to Jail for This’

By Daily Caller. A professor who served as an FBI informant during the investigation of the Trump campaign told one of his students in early 2017 that incoming national security adviser Michael Flynn was not “going to be around long,” according to audio that the student published Sunday.

Steven Schrage, a former Bush administration official, released audio of a conversation he had on Jan. 10, 2017, with Stefan Halper, the FBI informant.

In the audio file, which Schrage included in an essay published by journalist Matt Taibbi, Halper is heard saying that he doubted that Flynn would last long in the Trump administration.

“If you go to the [National Security Council], you have to consider very carefully if you feel it’s appropriate for you to work for Flynn. I don’t think Flynn’s going to be around long. That’s just my guess,” Halper told Schrage, according to the audio recording. (Read more from “FBI Informant Said Michael Flynn Was Not ‘Going to Be Around Long'” HERE)

Lindsey Graham: ‘Somebody Needs to Go to Jail for This’

By Daily Caller. Sen. Lindsey Graham on Sunday released an FBI memo from 2018 that he says shows investigators lied to the Senate about statements that the primary source for the Steele dossier told the FBI regarding the salacious document.

“This document clearly shows that the FBI was continuing to mislead regarding the reliability of the Steele dossier,” Graham said in a statement announcing the release of an eight-page briefing document that the FBI provided to the Senate Intelligence Committee in February 2018.

The memo summarizes what Igor Danchenko, the primary source for dossier author Christopher Steele, told the FBI during interviews in early 2017. Steele relied primarily on Danchenko, a Russia analyst, to collect information for an investigation into Donald Trump’s possible ties to Russia. . .

According to Graham, the newly declassified FBI memo shows that the bureau did not disclose any of the dossier’s red flags in the Senate Intelligence briefing document.

“Somebody needs to go to jail for this,” Graham said Sunday. (Read more from “Lindsey Graham: ‘Somebody Needs to Go to Jail for This'” HERE)

Former Anchorage Baptist Temple Pastor Jerry Prevo Replaces Jerry Falwell, Jr. at Liberty University as Acting President

By MSN News. Falwell, a prominent supporter of President Trump, made recently made headlines and drew severe backlash from conservatives after he posted a photo on Instagram that showed him and a woman on a yacht both wearing pants that were unzipped.

The picture was deleted shortly after, and Falwell apologized, claiming that the picture was “just in good fun.”

Still, Falwell faced calls to resign after his apology, and his leave was announced on Friday. . .

In September, Politico published a damning exposé on Falwell’s leadership of the evangelical university, which was founded by his father, detailing a “culture of fear and self-dealing.” Falwell denied the claims in the report, telling The Hill that the FBI planned to investigate the “criminal conspiracy” behind it. Liberty University Names Acting President After Jerry Falwell Jr. Put on Indefinite Leave

By The Hill. Liberty University announced on Monday that it has named its chairman, Rev. Jerry Prevo, as acting president of the university after former President Jerry Falwell Jr., was placed on indefinite leave.

The Lynchburg, Va.-based school noted in its statement that Prevo has served on its board of trustees since 1996 and as chairman since 2003.

“I want to thank my fellow board members for having confidence that I could be entrusted with the responsibility of serving as the Acting President during this time of Jerry Falwell, Jr’s indefinite leave of absence,” Prevo said in a statement. “Please pray for us as well as the Falwell family as we embark on our academic year and so we may continue to be united in our common purpose and our faith in Christ.” . . .

It marked just the latest controversy for Falwell, who drew backlash at the start of the coronavirus pandemic for waiting 11 days after a Virginia state of emergency was declared to move Liberty’s classes online. Students were still allowed to remain on campus and use the dining halls at the time as well, prompting fears for student and faculty safety.

Falwell also sparked backlash by tweeting that he would refuse to wear a mask during the pandemic until there were masks with the infamous picture from Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam’s (D) yearbook depicting a man in blackface and another in Ku Klux Klan regalia. Falwell also apologized for that incident, but two of the university’s Black football players said they planned to transfer over it. $14 Trillion in Slavery Reparations

White Is a Color

Redd Foxx’s character Fred delivered a sly zinger in a Sanford and Son episode when a tone-deaf white police officer asked him whether a criminal suspect was “colored.”

“Yeah,” Fred replied, “white.” It was a funny line, but it was also scientifically correct. The definition of white as an absence of color is exactly wrong.

Sir Isaac Newton proved in a renowned 1666 experiment that white is composed of six visible colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue and violet. He used a prism to resolve white light into its component colors, which a second prism recombined into a single white light again.

So Harry Belafonte is no more a person of color, optically speaking, than the palest Swedish albino, and arguably less so. It would be more honest for nonwhite racially preoccupied people to call themselves people about color, not people of color.

White Is a Race

Critical race theorists will, of course, dismiss this as quibbling. Their definition of people of color is not intended as a scientific statement of physics, but as an identity of all people who are not racially white. UCLA Professor Efren Perez has tracked use of the phrase in Black and mainstream newspapers since 1960. He found that Black newspapers used the term much earlier and more often than mainstream newspapers. Its increasing frequency coincided with the arrival of large immigrant populations that presented opportunities for political Blacks to recruit a broader nonwhite coalition.

The definition of people of color appears to be noncontroversial. So far as I know, everybody agrees that people of color are just people who aren’t white. This is necessarily negative: their identity is defined by who they are not. It retains its appeal and its coalition-building power only as long as the consensus that whites are villains in our national narrative.

Racial identity is a matter of real importance in a grievance-based economy. There are jobs, promotions, college admissions, government contracts and potential reparations for people who are agile and skilled in the art of racial grievance. The ship has already sailed on most of these policies that overtly disadvantage whites, but racial reparations are still under discussion.

Black billionaire Robert Johnson, founder of the Black Entertainment Network, recently called for $14 trillion in slavery reparations to Black Americans. This dwarfs the Black Panthers’ 1969 demand for $500 million in reparations. Martin Luther King confidante Bayard Rustin said at the time that “if my great-grandfather picked cotton for 50 years, then he may deserve some money, but he’s dead and gone and nobody owes me anything.”

That view is unusual among Blacks nowadays. Polls indicate the majority of Blacks support slavery reparations. The term “slavery reparations” is probably a misnomer, though. The wealth disparity between whites and Blacks, the disproportionate levels of incarceration, and perceived personal indignities are the conditions that most aggrieved Blacks feel justify reparations.

Moynihan’s Scissors

Johnson recited a list of dismal current statistics and concluded that “the pernicious legacy of slavery is the primary factor” in the wealth disparity between Blacks and whites. A Department of Labor sociologist, Daniel Patrick Moynihan, noticed in 1962 that although Black male employment was improving, Black welfare dependency was rising. This contradicted the usual pattern of parallel increases and decreases of unemployment and dependency. It suggested that increasing numbers of Black males had disconnected themselves from the financial outcomes of their families.

This prompted Moynihan to study the matter in more detail, and led to his 1965 report, “The Negro Family: The Case for National Action.” He found what he called “a tangle of pathology” and, like Johnson, said it resulted ultimately from slavery and Jim Crow.

But is that true? Black economist Thomas Sowell has risen to the defense of the dynamic, morally upright, wealth-building generations of freedmen who burst out of slavery after the Civil War. One of the things enslaved Blacks yearned for was the opportunity to form permanent marriages and enduring families, and that’s exactly what they did after emancipation. Their social statistics were comparable or superior to whites’ numbers on divorce, out-of-wedlock births, abandonment and employment rates.

Democrats enacted Jim Crow laws all over the South after they regained power. These were harmful and unjust, but they didn’t destroy families. That, Sowell observes, was the province of the paternalistic welfare state. With the growth of the New Deal and Great Society programs, the Black male lost the capacity to function as an authority figure within his family. Black families became matriarchal. Unwed births skyrocketed. In a sense, millions of matriarchs have married the government.

Fatherless homes, in turn, produced high crime, high rates of incarceration, pervasive academic failure, stubborn unemployment, and economic stagnation. Not to mention excruciating emotional pain and despair. Black attorney and cultural critic Larry Elder says that Black Americans’ main source of torment is not white racism, but fatherlessness. Nobody would tolerate us intruding into their personal relationships and coercing them to be better people, nor do I propose it. But the consequences of stubborn depravity rightly rest on the wrongdoer, the only person who is capable of making the necessary change.

Johnson admitted in his own essay that his number is based, not on a calculation of actual slavery damages, but on his estimate of how much wealth transfer it would take to make whites and Blacks equal. This is what the Mississippi-born Johnson would recognize as making Blacks whole: financial equality. This is a formula no American court would recognize as actual damages. Bill Gates – or Robert Johnson – can fully compensate me after causing a tragic car wreck without us being rendered financially equal. The only legal doctrine Johnson’s formula resembles is exemplary damages, sometimes called punitive (punishing) damages. It’s what you impose, beyond actual damages, to make an example of somebody who has earned the community’s contempt.

If we could get our hands on an actual slave-owner, I think punitive damages would be proper. But to impose the equivalent of punitive damages against random white people who have worked and struggled, taken risks and sacrificed, paid chiropractors and gone to night school to build incremental family wealth? It’s unjust and insulting. We should not be too timid to resist it.

The Collapse of the Traditional American Family

The Joint Economic Committee of Congress has just produced an important new study titled “The Demise of the Happy Two-Parent Home.”

The report exhaustively presents data showing the shocking collapse of marriage and traditional family in America and then explores possible explanations for why it has happened. . .

The relevant questions are: Why should the collapse of marriage in the United States concern us? And why is this happening?

Regarding the first question, it depends on your values. To the large but dwindling number of Americans who care about traditional biblical morality, the collapse of marriage and family, the openness to other lifestyles prohibited by biblical morality, is of concern. It is not a healthy sign about what is happening in our culture. . .

The report examines several possible factors, a major one being the dramatic growth in the welfare state supporting female heads of household. (Read more from. “The Collapse of the Traditional American Family” HERE)

WATCH: Trump Wrecks Reporter Who Complains About Crowd Size at Press Conference

Friday was a big news day, so the president held a press conference at his golf course in Bedminster, New Jersey, to discuss the latest developments. . .

Dozens of onlookers at Trump’s golf course gathered in the room as the president also discussed the encouraging data coming out of coronavirus hotspots in the south, the better-than-expected July jobs report, the violent explosion in Beirut and the U.S. assistance being dispatched to the region, as well as a number of other items.

It was a lot to digest, and the burning question on top of one liberal reporter’s mind was, why weren’t the onlookers practicing social distancing? According to the reporter, the whole crowd was in violation of New Jersey’s rules regarding large gatherings.

“You’re wrong on that,” the president shot back, “because it’s a political activity … and it’s also a peaceful protest.” The crowd erupted in cheers at the president’s comparison.

Amid Declining Air Travel, TSA Is Finding 3 Times More Guns in Carry-On Bags

While the number of people traveling by plane remains at historic lows nationwide, the number of guns being seized at airport security checkpoints has taken off, prompting concern for the federal government.

The Transportation Security Administration said Monday that its officers found 3 times more firearms inside passengers’ carry-on bags in July than it did the same month last year. For every 1 million people screened by TSA, 15.3 guns were detected compared to 5.1 in July 2019.

“The rate is particularly alarming, given that TSA screened about 75% fewer passengers in July 2020, over the previous year’s volume,” the federal agency wrote in a statement.

“TSA is diligently working to ensure our employees and passengers are safe and secure while traveling during a pandemic, and yet we are noticing a significant increase in loaded firearms coming into checkpoints,” said TSA Administrator David Pekoske. “Travelers must understand that firearms are prohibited items at airports and in the passenger cabins of aircraft. As hard as we are working to mitigate other risks at this time, no one should be introducing new ones.” (Read more from “Amid Declining Air Travel, TSA Is Finding 3 Times More Guns in Carry-On Bags” HERE)
