Oregon Newspaper: Man Fatally Shot By Police Was White So There’s No Reason To Riot

An Oregon newspaper included the race of a white man who was fatally shot by police in its coverage, then clarified it felt his race was important “in light of social unrest prompted by police shootings of Black people.”

“Recent shootings include Daunte Wright, who was killed by police in a Minneapolis suburb earlier this week, and two killings in Clark County in recent months,” the newspaper explained, nodding to the fact that those fatal shootings sparked rioting, looting, and other destruction.

Hours after it was published, however, The Oregonian deleted the paragraph and the tweet quoting it after the paper claimed the original statement was “poorly worded.” . . .

In the original story, The Oregonian reported that Portland police fatally shot a white male in his 30s on Friday morning after they received calls that someone at a public park had a gun. The man’s race, the newspaper claimed, was important because of the current social climate. CHAOS IN PORTLAND: Trump Supporter Pulls Gun After Being Assaulted By Antifa; Antifa Mob Trashes Cars to Stop ‘Freedom Rally’ (VIDEO)

By New York Post. Dramatic video shows the moment a man pulls a gun on Antifa protesters as they clashed with demonstrators taking part in a “Freedom Rally” near the Oregon state Capitol on Sunday.

The older man — wearing an American flag sweatshirt — was filmed in Salem initially getting out of his pickup truck to survey the damage allegedly caused by the Antifa mob.

He initially appeared calm as the counter-protesters dressed all in black surrounded and mocked him, with some threateningly aiming canisters at him throughout the confrontation.

But the squabble took an ugly turn after he was either sprayed in the face or struck with an object — prompting him to flinch and draw his weapon on the crowd.

“Get away from me!” he shouted, yanking a handgun from his waistband and cocking it as he aimed it toward the leftist activists.

Man Pulls Gun After Being Assaulted by Antifa in Oregon, Police Investigating

By Breitbart. Oregon State Police are investigating an incident near the state capitol in Salem where a man pulled a gun on Antifa protesters after they appeared to assault him and vandalize his vehicle. Police did not arrest the man who pulled his pistol after being pepper-sprayed by Antifa.

Video tweeted by self-described Antifa Press journalist Melissa “Claudio” Lewis shows a group of Antifa protesters armed with pepper-spray and batons surrounding a man whose truck had just been vandalized. The Antifa protesters appeared to have initially fired paintballs at the man’s windshield. . .

A second video, tweeted by Independent Media PDX shows the incident from a different angle. In this video, the repeated sounds of Antifa attacking the truck can be heard.

A video tweeted by @ViolaBLM shows police questioning the man after letting him up from the ground. The videographer seems angered that police did not shoot the white man. “If he was black, he’d be dead,” she says.

Oregon Proposes Making Mask Mandates Permanent

Oregon state health officials unveiled a new proposal in January which seeks to make temporary mask mandates permanent.

The current order, passed in November by the state’s workplace safety department, which requires all employers to implement state-imposed guidelines for social distancing and mask compliance, is set to expire on May 4. Oregon health bureaucrats are now seeking to make the rules permanent.

“Although the rule must be adopted as a permanent rule, its purpose is to address the COVID-19 pandemic,” the proposal reads. “Oregon [Occupational Safety and Health] intends to repeal the rule when it is no longer necessary to address the pandemic.”

Antifa Destroys Downtown Portland in Response to Biden’s ‘Kids In Cages’

Protests raged in downtown Portland, Oregon, on Saturday as rioters smashed windows of downtown businesses and vandalized the offices of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Profanity-laden slogans and messages like “No kids in cages” were spray-painted on ICE’s field office.

About 150 demonstrators marched through Portland’s Pearl District and damaged businesses that included Starbucks, Chipotle, Umpqua Bank and Urban Pantry, according to Fox News.

Governor ‘Threatens to Seize Woman’s Kids’ for Keeping Salon Open During Lockdown

An Oregon woman and her salon corporation have filed a lawsuit seeking $100,000 in damages against Gov. Kate Brown and various other state officials for the governor’s decision to sic social services on her and allegedly threaten to remove her children from home because she kept her business open during the coronavirus-pandemic lockdown.

The case brought in Circuit Court in Marion County by Lindsey Graham and her Glamour! company explains that the government “imposed heavy burdens on certain sectors of the economy, while other sectors of the economy – especially those that receive a paycheck from the government – have been let largely economically unaffected.” . . .

After an initial barrage from the state’s health and safety agency, and a $14,000 fine for operating an allegedly unsafe facility, Fox reported, Graham’s family was “terrorized” by the governor.

That was because of threats to place Lindsey’s children under the care of Child Protective Services, she said.

“She terrorized myself, she terrorized my stylists, and she terrorized my family. She took every government agency she could, and she put her full weight into intimidating me into closing, including sending Child Protective Services to my home and threatening the removal of my children,” she explained. WATCH: Anti-Lockdown Protesters Force Way Into Oregon Capitol, Some Armed

A group of anti-lockdown, pro-Trump protesters forced their way into the Oregon Capitol Monday. One report shows some of the protesters were armed with rifles, handguns, and even a pitchfork.

A large group forced their way into the capitol as the legislature met on the opening day of the state’s third special session. The protesters expressed opposition to the state’s ordering of certain businesses to close.

While legislative sessions are normally open to the public, today’s was closed to anyone other than lawmakers, police, some staff, and reporters, the Oregon Statesman-Journal reported. Legislators met to attempt to pass pandemic-relief measures including landlord and tenant assistance.

Reports on social media show the group of protesters gathered outside the Oregon Capitol on Monday morning.

Salem Reporter journalist Jake Thomas tweeted a video showing a woman urging protesters to enter the capitol. One man reportedly shouted that people should be willing to get maced or arrested.

State Defends Coronavirus Program Giving Federal Funds To Black People Only

The State of Oregon continues to defend a state program that distributes federal coronavirus relief funds to black people — and only black people — after two separate lawsuits have challenged the program as a violation of the U.S. Constitution.

The Oregon state legislature’s Emergency Board created the Oregon Cares Fund this summer — with nightly Black Lives Matter riots raging in Portland — to allocate $62 million in funds from the federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act to black residents (out of $200 million in total funds). The Oregon Cares Fund website states:

The Oregon Cares Fund is a targeted investment in the Black community from the CARES Act Coronavirus Relief Fund. This fund is meant to provide the Black community with the resources it needs to weather the global health pandemic and consequent recession. The Oregon Cares Fund is for Black people, Black-owned businesses, and Black community based organizations.

. . .Two federal lawsuits have been filed: one by a logging company, Great Northern Resources; and the other by a Mexican-American coffee shop owner, Maria Garcia. (For her trouble, she has been labeled by Latino “leaders” as “anti-Black.”)

Oregon Gov. Kate Brown (D) and Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum said last month: “The data show that Black Oregonians are experiencing disproportionate harm from COVID-19. … We must not allow pernicious and ideologically-motivated lawsuits to impede our efforts to deliver critical resources to Oregonians amid a devastating pandemic.” (Read more from “State Defends Coronavirus Program Giving Federal Funds To Black People Only” HERE)

WATCH: Dem Governor Tells People to Call Cops on Neighbors if They Have More Than 6 for Thanksgiving

Possession of cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine and other lethal drugs is no longer a crime in Oregon, but inviting too many loved ones to Thanksgiving dinner could result in up to 30 days in jail.

And Oregon Democratic Gov. Kate Brown is urging state residents to call the cops if they find out that their neighbors have more than six people sitting around the turkey.

“This is no different than what happens if there’s a party down the street and it’s keeping everyone awake,” Brown said in an interview Friday with KGW-TV in Portland. “What do neighbors do? They call law enforcement because it’s too noisy. This is just like that. It’s like a violation of a noise ordinance.”

The governor’s two-week order, restricting both indoor and outdoor gatherings to six people, also stipulates that people from no more than two households be in a home at one time.

Critics Blast Oregon Dems for Calling National Guard to Quell Portland Riots Now That Elections Are Over

Democratic leaders on the state level in Oregon, as well as in Portland, are being dragged online for calling in National Guard troops to quell post-election rioting in the city after it had gone on for months.

Critics online accused Gov. Kate Brown and Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler, the latter of whom won reelection Tuesday, of allowing the rioting to go on all summer long while opposing President Donald Trump’s repeated offers of federal intervention because it played better for them politically.

“And now Ted Wheeler sees no benefit to them rioting and is cracking down immediately. People in that city were used for politics. Businesses were damaged for politics. So gross man,” one user wrote.

Protesters March Through Streets of Portland on Election Night; DC Protester Says She Will ‘Wipe Bloody P***y’ With Bible; Protesters Get Violent With Baseball Bats (VIDEO)

By KOMO News. As Oregon’s results from the November election are set to come in, a group of protesters is marching on Portland’s streets.

The rally and march, hosted by the group All Power To The People, started at Southeast Portland’s Revolution Hall.

By Breitbart. As tensions continue to rise in Washington, D.C., protesters are verbally clashing with others. One outspoken woman yelled at a street preacher, stating she would wipe her “bloody” vagina with the Bible.

A masked white woman can be seen confronting a Black street preacher yelling, “I’m gonna wipe my bloody p*ssy with your Bible papers.”

WATCH: Protesters Get Violent With Baseball Bats in DC

By Breitbart. A fight broke out in Black Lives Matter Plaza near the White House in Washington, D.C. late Tuesday night.

Video captured a fight breaking out when a man wearing all black began fighting with another white man. The video shows multiple people joining in and assaulting the man before he manages to escape.
