Bill on Pronoun Mandates: ‘Sex Is an Immutable Biological Trait’

A bill in Florida introduced by Republican state Rep. Ryan Chamberlin tackles pronoun mandates in the workplaces that receive taxpayer funding, essentially prohibiting those employees from being penalized for refusing to use an individual’s preferred pronouns.

Chamberlin, who won his special election in May, introduced HB 599, directly addressing one of the emerging facets of the leftist woke agenda. The bill broadly aims to deal with gender identity in employment relating to government institutions, businesses or non-profit organizations that receive taxpayer funding and essentially protects those employees from being targeted or punished for refusing to use an individual’s personal pronouns in the workplace.

The bill clearly defines sex — a reality the far-left has attempted to dismiss — by making it clear that “it is the policy of the state that a person’s sex is an immutable biological trait and that it is false to ascribe to a person a pronoun that does not correspond to such person’s sex.”

The legislation makes it clear that this does not apply to individuals “born with a genetically or biochemically verifiable disorder of sex development.”

That aside, the legislation clearly states that an employee or contractor shall not be required to use an individual’s “personal pronoun” if it does not correspond to that individual’s biological sex. Pope Francis Dines With Transgender Women for Vatican Luncheon

Pope Francis hosted a group of transgender “women” — many of whom are sex workers or migrants from Latin America — to a Vatican luncheon for the Catholic Church’s “World Day of the Poor” last week.

The pontiff and the transgender “women” have formed a close relationship since the pope came to their aid during the COVID-19 pandemic, when they were unable to work. Now, they meet monthly for VIP visits with the pope and receive medicine, money and shampoo any day, according to The Associated Press.

“Before, the church was closed to us. They didn’t see us as normal people, they saw us as the devil,” one member of the transgender group, Andrea Paola Torres Lopez, told the AP.

Some 1,200 people who are impoverished or homeless also attended the luncheon inside the papal audience hall for a full meal and dessert.

The invitation to the transgender “women” comes as the Vatican released a controversial document earlier this month affirming that individuals suffering from gender-identity disorders are allowed to be baptized or be named as godparents under specific circumstances. Catholic Women’s School Saint Mary’s College to Admit Transgender Applicants

Saint Mary’s College has approved a policy to consider male applicants who “identify as women,” which would effectively strip the school of its ability to accurately call itself a women’s college.

The college’s “non-discrimination” policy now says that Saint Mary’s can consider admission for undergraduate applicants “whose sex is female or who consistently live and identify as women,” according to a report by the Observer.

“The mission of Saint Mary’s College is to empower women, through education, at all stages in life,” the policy reads. “Essential to this mission is fostering a diverse, equitable and inclusive campus experience. This mission is inherently tied to the vision and values of our founders and sponsors, the Sisters of the Holy Cross.”

President Katie Conboy said in a Tuesday email to to faculty, staff, and students that the Board of Trustees “fully supports” the new policy.

“This confidence from our Board underscores their commitment that as an employer, Saint Mary’s must stand firm in its position as an inclusive community leader, and that as educators, we should continue to create an environment where all women belong and thrive,” Conboy wrote. Biden’s ‘Transgender Day of Remembrance’ Praises ‘Victims’ Who Attacked Innocent People

President Joe Biden celebrated “Transgender Day of Remembrance” this week to grieve 26 transgender Americans who were killed in 2023— not people who fell victim to Leftist’s progressive policies that have allowed criminals to commit crimes against innocent people.

During a press conference, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said, “Year after Year, we see that these victims are disproportionately black, women, and women of color. No one should face violence or live in fear, or be discriminated against simply for being themselves.”

However, three of the 26 transgender “victims” that the Biden White House idolized died while attacking innocent bystanders.

According to the Federalist, the three transgender people were shot and killed while committing a crime or refusing to cooperate with law enforcement.

Time after time, the Biden Administration has chosen to paint transgender people as victims despite the thousands of Americans, for example, who have died from fentanyl poisoning after being brought into the U.S. due to Biden’s wide-open border. Medical Malpractice Lawsuit Alleges Unapproved Gender-Altering Surgeries: Female Patient Claims Lack of Informed Consent

In a startling legal development, a 23-year-old woman, who underwent a hysterectomy and double mastectomy at UW Hospital for gender-altering procedures, has filed a lawsuit against the hospital and two surgeons. The plaintiff, residing in Chicago, had a self-diagnosis of gender dysphoria, which she claims was not verified by a doctor before the surgeries were performed. The lawsuit, filed in Dane County Circuit Court, alleges that Dr. Jay Lick and Dr. Katherine Gast operated without obtaining proper informed consent.

The patient, initially identifying as a lesbian, explored a nonbinary identity to address psychological distress from childhood trauma. However, post-surgery therapy revealed that the distress was not linked to physical features but to past trauma. Consequently, she decided to detransition, ceasing testosterone therapy. The lawsuit, filed confidentially, reveals the patient’s regret as a Jewish woman, mourning her inability to naturally conceive, a significant aspect of her cultural expectations.

UW Health, the hospital in question, has not commented on the case’s specifics or the informed consent procedures for gender-altering surgeries. This legal action unfolds against the backdrop of a nationwide debate on transgender healthcare. Several states have enacted laws restricting gender-altering procedures for minors, and Wisconsin’s Legislature recently passed a bill seeking to do the same.

A biological woman, “Miss Nicaragua” Sheynnis Palacios, won the crown at the Miss Universe pageant Saturday in El Salvador.

Palacios, 23, is the first Nicaraguan to win the crown, the Associated Press (AP) reported Sunday.

Video footage shows the tense moments as the crowd waited for the crowning. “Okay, the new Miss Universe is…” the announcer said as the two contestants waited and held hands on the stage.

“Nicaragua!” the announcer shouted as Palacios reacted in shock. Moments later, the glittering crown was placed on her head:

It is important to note the company that owns the Miss Universe pageant recently filed for bankruptcy, Breitbart News reported November 10.

“The company is led by transgender rights advocate Anne Jakrajutatip, who took over the pageant’s brand in 2022,” the article said, also highlighting the fact that the pageant in El Salvador was slated to feature, for the first time, two transgender women contestants.

Trans Athlete Who Seriously Injured Female Player Quits Team After Opponents Refuse to Play Against Him

A male-born transgender athlete has quit a British soccer team when faced with opposing teams refusing to play against his team after he broke an opponent’s knee during a match. But even after quitting, the trans player is threatening to sue.

Opponents had refused to play against Francesca Needham, 30, after he broke a female player’s knee as she tried to block his shot. Many claimed they were “terrified” to face Needham on the field, according to the Daily Mail.

Needham ultimately resigned from the Rossington Main Ladies team in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, saying he did so for the good of the team after many opponents refused to play them. But he was not happy to fade off into the sunset.

In a statement to the team’s Facebook page, Needham decried the fact that he “faced challenges from teams unwilling to play against us while I am on the field.” . . .

“This unfortunate circumstance has prompted me to investigate pursuing a case of discrimination, as I believe it represents a breach of a code of conduct regarding diversity and inclusion, as well as safeguarding of adults in football established by both the Football Association and the Sheffield and Hallamshire Women and Girls League,” he wrote. Female Boxer Refuses to Fight Trans Opponent Championship Match

A female boxer in Quebec withdrew from a provincial boxing championship last month after being told without notice that she would have to fight a male-born transgender opponent.

Boxer Dr. Katia Bissonnette of Saguenay refused to step into the ring with transgender opponent Mya Walmsley during the 2023 Provincial Golden Glove Championship, which took place October 27 to 29, according to Reduxx.

The event hosted in Victoriaville, Quebec, by the Quebec Boxing Federation and the KO-96 boxing club was held to give novice fighters a shot at qualifying for the Canadian Championship in December.

But when Bissonnette was told of her match, she says she was unaware that she was to face a male fighter until an hour before fight time.

“I came down from my hotel room to head towards the room where all the boxers were warming up. My coach suddenly took me aside and told me he received information by text message, which he had then validated, that my opponent was not a woman by birth. Target Shuns Christian Shoppers

By Todd Starnes. Although Target faced Pride Month merchandise boycotts, a lawsuit and a 10% decline in its stock following this year’s controversial collection, the retailer appears to be doubling down on its commitment to this market.

Target has promoted Erik Thompson to Senior LGBTQIA+ Strategist and Pride Lead, according to a @LibsofTikTok post on X and Thompson’s LinkedIn profile.

In his new role overseeing Target’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer/questioning, intersex, and asexual marketing, Thompson says he plans to “flip the script and rewrite the narrative of CPG [consumer packaged goods] retail industries to better serve all segments and thoughtfully & authentically cater to *ALL guests, ALL humans & ALL hearts* who enter our stores and across the nation.”
