Clarence Thomas Creates Shockwaves for Stating Next ‘Error’ That Supreme Court Should ‘Correct’

U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas suggested in his concurring opinion with the Court’s ruling on Roe v. Wade on Friday that the judicial body should revisit several key rulings that are politically charged.

In his concurring opinion, Thomas wrote that “[i]n future cases, we should reconsider all of this Court’s substantive due process precedents, including Griswold, Lawrence, and Obergefell.” . . .

Fox News reported:

Griswold v. Connecticut was a landmark 1965 case which ruled the use of contraception between two married individuals was a matter of privacy and constitutionally protected.

Lawrence v. Texas in 2003 dealt with homosexual sex between consenting parties, and Obergefell v. Hodges treaded the same territory in 2015 to rule gay marriage as a constitutionally protected right to privacy.

Joe Biden Accused of Hiding Plan to Rig 2022 Election

Joe Biden is strategizing now to rig the 2022 vote results, and is hiding his schemes from the American public “until at least after the November midterm elections,” charges the editor-in-chief at The Federalist and a senior journalism fellow at Hillsdale College.

Mollie Ziegler Hemingway, also a Fox News contributor whose work has been in the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, the Washington Post, CNN and more, wrote that all the signs are there he’s engaging in “a concerted effort” to rig the results.

“The lack of transparency … is so bad that the Department of Justice and some of its agencies have been repeatedly sued for the information,” she charges.

“President Biden really does not want the public to know about his federal takeover of election administration. Dozens of members of Congress have repeatedly asked for details, to no avail. Good government groups, members of the media, and private citizens have filed requests under the Freedom of Information Act. Not a single one has been responded to,” she wrote.

The secrecy, she said, follows Biden’s demands of “all 600 federal agencies to ‘expand citizens’ opportunities to register to vote and to obtain information about, and participate in, the electoral process.'” (Read more from “Joe Biden Accused of Hiding Plan to Rig 2022 Election” HERE)

Supreme Court Rules for Coach Who Prayed at Football Games

The Supreme Court on Monday sided with a former high school football coach who prayed at the 50-yard after games, ruling that his public prayers were protected as free speech and free exercise of religion.

The 6-3 decision is a victory for those who seek a larger role for prayer and religion in public schools.

The court’s conservatives cast aside long-standing ideas that the Constitution mandates a strict separation of church and state. While they agreed students may not be required to pray or listen to a religious message, they said private prayers at school are protected, not prohibited.

They ruled that Coach Joe Kennedy’s prayers began as a personal expression, and were not official acts of promoting religion simply because they drew a crowd.

The 1st Amendment protects the freedom of speech and the free exercise of religion while prohibiting an “establishment of religion,” and all three clauses were at issue in the case of Kennedy vs. Bremerton School District. Multiple Dead, at Least 50 Injured After Amtrak Train Carrying 243 Passengers Derails

An Amtrak train traveling from Los Angeles to Chicago derailed in Missouri on Monday afternoon — resulting in fatalities and numerous injuries, according to reports.

The train collided with a dump truck at a public railroad crossing in Mendon, Missouri, 100 miles east of Kansas City, at 1:42 p.m. local time, Amtrak said in a statement.

The statement said there are “early reports of injuries,” but did not provide additional information. The train had 243 passengers and 12 crew members, Amtrak said.

A Missouri State Highway Patrol official confirmed multiple fatalities but did not provide a specific number, the Daily Beast reported.

Eric McKenzie, the superintendent with Charlton County Ambulance Service, told CNN that there were multiple fatalities and that at least 50 people were injured. (Read more from “Multiple Dead, at Least 50 Injured After Amtrak Train Carrying 243 Passengers Derails” HERE)

Army Private With Ties to Neo-Nazis, ISIS Pleads Guilty in Plot to Kill Fellow Soldiers

An Army soldier with links to white supremacists and the occult admitted that he planned to kill other members of his unit in what he called a “jihadi attack” just before they were to be deployed to Turkey, federal prosecutors said.

Pvt. Ethan Phelan Melzer pleaded guilty to attempting to murder U.S. service members, providing and attempting to provide material support to terrorists, and illegally transmitting national defense information.

“Ethan Melzer attempted to orchestrate a murderous ambush on his own unit by unlawfully disclosing its location, strength, and armaments to a neo-Nazi, anarchist, white supremacist group,” Damian Williams, U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York, said in a statement. “The defendant believed he could force the U.S. into prolonged armed conflict while causing the deaths of as many soldiers as possible.”

He faces 45 years in prison. Sentencing is scheduled for January 2023, officials said.

Federal prosecutors said Melzer, 24, was a member of 09A, an occult-based neo-Nazi and white supremacist group that espouses antisemitic and satanic beliefs and has expressed admiration for Adolf Hitler and Islamic jihadists such as Osama bin Laden. Most Americans Are ‘Concerned’ About Their Ability to Afford ‘Day to Day Things

Most Americans are concerned about their ability to afford “day to day things” in President Biden’s America, a YouGov/CBS News Poll released this week found.

The survey asked respondents to identify whether they are “confident” or “concerned” about a range of issues regarding their spending habits in an era of 41-year-high inflation and record-breaking gas prices.

Overall, 65 percent said they are “concerned” about their ability to afford “day to day things,” while 66 percent are “concerned” about their ability to “take a vacation or travel.”

Nearly three-quarters, 73 percent, said they are “concerned” about their ability to purchase a “big ticket item,” and another 73 percent said they are “concerned” about their ability to save money right now. More Than 2 Dozen States to Restrict Abortions

Thirteen states in the country are poised to enact immediate abortion bans and at least 13 more could quickly follow suit after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade on Friday, leaving abortion rights up to the states to decide.

At least 13 states in the country have so-called “trigger laws” banning most abortions that will take effect immediately or within weeks of Roe v. Wade being overturned.

According to the Guttmacher Institute, a pro-abortion rights research group, those states are Arkansas, Idaho, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Wyoming, which just passed its trigger law in April.

There are also five additional states – Alabama, Arizona, Michigan, West Virginia and Wisconsin – that still have an abortion ban on the books from before Roe v. Wade that will go into effect now that the 1973 landmark law is overturned.

The Democratic governors of Michigan and Wisconsin have pushed back against those laws: Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer filed a lawsuit in April asking the Michigan Supreme Court to stop enforcement of the state’s 1931 abortion ban, and Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers has called for the repeal of an 1849 state law that makes abortion a felony. (Read more from “More Than 2 Dozen States to Restrict Abortions” HERE)

Dem City Primary Candidate Reportedly Appointed Dead Activist to Local Role

A New York City primary candidate is under fire for previously appointing a dead activist and several unknown residents to positions in the Brooklyn Democratic Party.

Dionne Brown-Jordan is on the ballot Tuesday challenging two-term Democratic Assemblywoman Mathylde Frontus, who represents the 46th Assembly District, which covers all of Coney Island and Sea Gate as well as parts of Bath Beach, Bay Ridge, Brighton Beach, Dyker Heights and Gravesend. Brown-Jordan has served as the Brooklyn district leader for about two years and is the assistant treasurer of the Brooklyn Democratic Party.

Though she received an endorsement from Rep. Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., Brown-Jordan’s candidacy has been mired amid reports revealing that she used her role as district leader to appoint late Coney Island housing activist Alfreida Davis to a seat on the Brooklyn Democratic Party Committee on Dec. 1, 2020.

Davis, however, died a month earlier on Nov. 1, 2020, following brain surgery complications, New York Daily News reported.

Christian Pregnancy Center Set on Fire After Roe v. Wade Decision

A faith-based center for pregnant women in Colorado was vandalized and burned Saturday, and authorities are looking for those responsible.

Law enforcement officers were alerted to a fire at Life Choices in Longmont that morning, and upon arrival they saw the building was on fire and had messages scrawled on it that referenced the overturning of Roe v. Wade, according to the New York Post.

In a social media message, Longmont Fire, Police and Community Health and Resilience said the building sustained “fire and heavy smoke damage,” noting the property had been vandalized with black paint.

The agency added the case was being investigated as arson.

One photo showed the phrase, “Bans Off Our Bodies” spray painted at the entrance with the anarchy symbol above it on the wall.

Ghislaine Maxwell on Suicide Watch

Ghislaine Maxwell, the late Jeffrey Epstein’s former girlfriend and confidant, was placed on suicide watch, even though she is not suicidal, according to her attorney.

Attorney Bobbi Sternheim said in a letter Saturday that his client, who is being held in a federal detention center in Brooklyn, may need to postpone her sentencing, set to take place on Monday. Prosecutors requested that Maxwell, 60, be sentenced to a minimum of 30 years and up to 55 years in prison for her role in recruiting and grooming young women to be sexually abused by Epstein.

Officials abruptly moved Maxwell to solitary confinement and placed her on suicide watch on Friday without a psychological evaluation and “without justification,” Sternheim told U.S. Circuit Judge Alison Nathan, according to CNN. Sternheim said he “met with Ms. Maxwell today” and insisted she “is not suicidal,” per the letter.

“If Ms. Maxwell remains on suicide watch, is prohibited from reviewing legal materials prior to sentencing, becomes sleep-deprived, and is denied sufficient time to meet with and confer with counsel, we will be formally moving on Monday for an adjournment,” the attorney added.
